A piece of tropical paradise with an awesome ocean! If I had my way, I wouldn't have left there ever! I would like to mention the restaurant as a separate plus - very tasty and varied food / cuisine! The slightly shabby colonial style is offset by the polite staff!

Great quiet hotel, great cuisine, especially lobster...😁🍻we had a Personal waiter-Djaga, for $ 5 he carried everything that was possible and impossible for us) throughout the evening, and also poured Whiskey into liter bottles of Coca Cola with him))) We went on excursions to many places, went to mangroves, to the city of Kandy, to Elephant Mountain and a carnival holiday!!!!! But the hotel is old, the rooms are damp. If you turn off the air conditioner, condensation begins to drip from the ceiling. That's why he beat us all day long to dry out the room.
Otherwise, everything is fine. We went all inclusive, of course not like in Turkey, there is no variety, but we had enough, we did not come to Sri Lanka to eat. For us, the most important thing is nature, which is magical here!

There are nuances. Leaky towels and not the first novelty bed linen. The kitchen is very limited in delights. If there are not many people, then only eggs and rolls for breakfast. The buffet is only available when the hotel is heavily loaded. A lot of things need to be repaired.

The breakfasts are modest, but you can eat. The beds are broken, full of holes. All the furniture is like that. The beach towels are old too. Spa Ayurveda is declared on the Internet. But, it has not been working for more than 3 years.
The Internet catches well in the lobby, restaurant and by the pool.

The hotel is a separate island off the island of Sri Lanka. Pleasant indoor environment. Breakfasts are about nothing, lunches and dinners are good. Good rooms if you are not afraid of the local wildlife. Be sure to try the local Fanta and feed the chipmunks. Jewelry shopaholics either do not go there at all, or with a strict limit on the excess baggage. Do not forget a lot of repellents of different types: sprays, sticks, aromaspirals - everything will come in handy. Personally, for me, there are too many spices in the dishes (not pungency, but spices in general), but this is for an amateur. The ocean is beautiful even with a yellow flag on the shore.
