A good hotel, located next to the park, 40-50 minutes walk to the center, but you can take the tram, the stop is a 2-minute walk away. There is a Spar nearby. There is nothing necessary in the rooms, no kettle, no iron, no balcony. The rooms themselves are not bad, but for 150 euros per day, I would like something better. Also, breakfast is only for vegans, there is no meat, not even sausage.
The overall impression of the hotel and the vacation is gorgeous! Then a list of pros and cons :)
minuses
- We came for 6 days in February, it was warm in Amsterdam, so the cold batteries did not spoil the rest. I hope the room is heated when it gets cold :)
- There are toiletries (soap-shampoo), all in reusable large containers, it's good for the environment! But - no slippers, no shower caps. Perhaps not everyone needs them and pollute nature, but you can probably come up with an eco-option
- There is no refrigerator, but in Amsterdam there is still cheese :)
- There is no curtain in the shower and everything pours on the floor, you have to use towels to soak up the swamp, and then of course they are taken to the laundry, and this is not quite eco-friendly.
- An expensive lobby bar, but this is the trouble with all lobby bars))
pluses
- Awesome location. By transport to the center - 5 minutes to the bus stop and 10-15 minutes by tram, on foot - 45 minutes to the museum quarter through a beautiful park, to the central station - an hour and a half.
- We were also lucky with the view from the room: the top floor, Windows facing the park. The park itself is not visible, the Windows overlook the courtyard of high-rise buildings, but the dawn is visible, the yard is landscaped, in general everything is as it should be.
- A huge bed, four large pillows, a huge soft blanket and a comfortable mattress. We sleep at home on an orthopedic bed, and every time I'm afraid that everything will hurt after an unfamiliar bed, but it was a pity to part with this one.
- Despite the frightening inscriptions "this shower uses 30% less water than usual", both the flow of water and the temperature did not cause problems with washing long hair
- Amazing staff! They were constantly tugging at them - they needed a brush, then the water went badly, then they got sick and asked for a kettle. Everything was always done quickly and kindly, it was pleasant to interact, I want to come back!
The location is great, there is a park nearby, it takes about 25 minutes to walk to the center, it takes 10-15 minutes to go by tram in general. Friendly staff.
Among the disadvantages (why I won't stay there anymore): an uncomfortable bed and terrible pillows, there is no refrigerator, table or at least a small table in the room, poor cleaning. You should not take breakfast - for 15 euros per person you can have a great meal in cafes and restaurants nearby, and in MOER the breakfast is very bad...
