A very cool hotel, I especially liked the beach, the sand there is clean and soft, the water is incredibly beautiful, there are still a lot of entertainment, for example: catamaran, kayaks, saps, etc. The rooms are also wonderful. I really liked everything)!☺️🔥
We were at the hotel in July-August 2024. I'm flying on a plane and decided to write, maybe it will be useful to someone. Overall, I definitely liked the hotel-I recommend it! The main advantages of the hotel:
-a huge territory for 5 points. The hotel is divided into two parts - south and north, but within a single territory. Electric buggy buses are in constant motion between them. The distance is about 1km. 10-15 minutes on foot, 5-7 minutes by buggy with stops. The guests of the villas are given bicycles for free, the rest are rented. There are trails to the mountains with beautiful views for hiking. Zipline in the jungle in the mountains for adults and children. An aviary with giant turtles that can be fed at certain hours.
- beach and sea 5. It is definitely better from the North side. There are almost no waves there all year round, or there are only small waves and this is very rare for the Seychelles. In some hotels, depending on the season, it is impossible to swim because of the waves. On the south side, the beach is beautiful, but only for walking - I have never seen anyone swimming there. There are snorkeling slots. On the beach, the service is 4 with a minus. There are pools next to the sea - one in the North, three in the South. On both beaches, the beach club offers kayaks, paddle boards, etc. for free.
- Gym 5. It's just great for a hotel! There is an adult-only swimming pool outside. The gym equipment is good: cardio, weight training equipment, dumbbells, kettlebells and even free weights with pancakes, which are rarely found in hotels. The only thing is that the hotel is large, there are a lot of people and you need to look at the schedule in order not to get into the general training - there is not enough space. There is a squash hall. Courts for lawn and paddle tennis.
- SPA area. Massages and treatments are for an amateur, but the area itself with a sauna and swimming pools is great after the gym, for example. Moreover, in order to visit it, it is not necessary to do procedures, for free, but children are not allowed.
- food. In general, 4+. Of course, the tastes are different here, but my rating is as follows: Cyan author's + Japan - 5, Helios Mediterranean-5, Seselwa Seychelles - 4 minus, Adam&Eve Asia - 5, Corossol (buffet every day) - 4+. I would like to mention a very good selection of wine. Breakfast in the south at Corossol, in the north at Seselwa. There is a lot more choice and tastier in the south, but you can go to any of them, regardless of where you live. There are a couple of bars at restaurants, and there is a hookah in the bar at Corossol.
- placement on a solid shelf. We lived in the north, in a villa with three rooms and a swimming pool. The villas and furniture are in good condition, but it would be nice to upgrade. The renovation program at the hotel has already begun and next year they promise to open the booking of renovated rooms.
- cleaning for 4+. It all depends on the specific cleaner - someone is better, someone is worse at cleaning. That's who deserves special thanks, so this is the chief service manager of Okeke. She was very attentive to our family and took part in solving any problem. Thanks Okeke!
- kids club. In general, it is normal, but you can already update it. There is a new program for every day, you can leave the child.
- security 5.
Of the minuses, I would note:
- bottled drinking water in the rooms. It feels like it's been desalinated from the sea. Anyway, our family couldn't drink it - we had to go to the store to get water.
- there is not enough personal attention to the guests. It is clear that this is not a luxury boutique resort - a large hotel with an appropriate number of people, but still a stay at the hotel is not cheap and I would like a non-standard approach. So far, everything looks like Turkish all inclusive. One exception is Okeke and another manager from the reception (unfortunately I forgot the name). By the way, we lived for a week at Constance Lemuria on Praslin and there the staff is more friendly and generally more attentive to the guests.
- sports grounds have been built in different places on the territory of the hotel. We lived for 4 weeks and I never saw anyone doing anything there. And all because they are absolutely not suitable for sports, it feels like they were built for beauty or people who don't understand anything about sports at all. Instead of these 5 playgrounds, it would be better to build one gym, but with the right horizontal bars and bars. Thus, you can partially unload the gym !
- there are no Russian-speaking animators at kids club, although there are a lot of guests from the former Soviet Union.
The advice is to book in the south or in the north to choose for you. In the south, breakfast is better, there are more restaurants, a gym, courts, turtles, swimming pools, a kids' club, but they mostly go swimming-they go North. There are fewer people living in the North, a super beach-the sea, a zipline, but a little more expensive.
