The staff is rude and incompetent, they do not check for the necessary documents. If you are Asian, you will be rejected with prejudice if you have all the documents. I'm not sure that they have an "objective" attitude towards people.
I definitely do not recommend it, especially if you are traveling to Almaty from afar!
