An excellent and quite modern airport. It is traditional for India to check tickets by the military at the entrance. Queues are gathering at the check-in counters, but you can use the self registration & badge printing machines. There are usually few people there and assistants are working.
We are faced with a 2-hour delay in the flight to Delhi. There are a lot of people in the waiting room in front of the gates, but the seats are quickly vacated. In general, the conditions are quite normal. There is a cafe and something like a business lounge with a queue at the entrance - a place quite popular with the locals, those of them who have access to flights around the country.
Comfortable, clean, spacious, cool, no fuss.
There is a cafe, a luggage packing machine, a currency exchange office (with a poor exchange rate), a mobile operator's office.
Upon arrival, Indians with badges grab a suitcase in the baggage claim area, ostensibly to help. If you don't want to pay money to carry a suitcase on wheels 50 meters to the exit, don't give them a suitcase. Otherwise, they will persistently demand money later, even agree to rubles, just not a trifle.
On departure. Check-in, baggage clearance, customs control, inspection and boarding took place smoothly, without long queues, without delays, although three flights were checked in simultaneously: to Moscow, Yekaterinburg and Alma-Ata. She asked for a seat on the plane near the aisle. And so they did.
The staff distributed passengers at the counters so that queues would not accumulate.
The flight took off on time without delay, which made me very happy, because I was afraid to be late for a transfer in Moscow to my house.
I didn't see a duty-free store. Either it was located somewhere in a place not on my route of passage, or I did not notice it. I wasn't really looking for him. And I didn't see any packages with duty-free purchases from other passengers.
When you get to this airport, you immediately realize that you are in the magical state of Goa! It is from this place that thousands of journeys and thousands of incredible stories begin and end!
The interiors are beautiful here, and it's nice to even wait a couple of hours for your flight. The staff is polite and always ready to help (in English, of course). Everything is logically arranged, you will not get confused and you will not get lost.
It's a good place!
Goa is a normal airport, of the disadvantages, all procedures take a very long time, but these are Indians, and for Russia, the farthest departure and arrival is always there, about a kilometer away
Dabolim Airport is a normal airport.
But there is one big problem.
When tourists arrive, paperwork takes a very long time.
That even because of this, I don't want to fly anymore.
It's a long flight and another 3 hours for paperwork.
Not camilfo at all
We arrived on an Aeroflot flight to this airport. At first glance, I liked everything. Clean, no queues, fast service, polite staff. And the whole opinion was spoiled when flying to Moscow. Registration is fast. But then hell begins. Screening on local airlines takes place in an empty hall, without fuss, several tapes of inspection of things and luggage. But for international flights, everyone is in the same queue, on the same tape. All...at the moment there were three flights. They stood until the end of registration and boarding the plane. The flight was delayed because of such an inspection. An outrage. So many nerves have been spoiled for people. And the whole opinion about the airport has changed for the worse. I won't fly there anymore.
A good airport, periodically huge stupid queues for inspection, water and drinks are allowed on domestic airlines for 1 liter per person. After arrival, you can arrange a PrePaid Taxi near the exit on the left, which will allow you to save money.
Well, so-so airport, like many in India, is better of course than in Trivandrum, but without a business lounge, although they promised, duty free no longer works on departure, although it used to work to entertain itself somehow, an indecently long passage through passport control ..., in general, something still remains unchanged, so for the 20 years that I fly to Goa every year, the quality of work of the staff of this airport leaves much to be desired, before the international terminal was in another building in a more battered one, but in fact nothing has changed with the opening of a new building for the better, perhaps due to the fact that most of the staff working The military is at Dabolim airport)
An ordinary modern small airport. Everything is comfortable. You can have a snack, relax and buy souvenirs. There is a parking lot. A convenient taxi system. Fixed price. It is better to fly with Indian rupees. The exchanger is open from 9-00. If you arrived earlier and without the local currency, then you can change it on the spot at the taxi drivers, but the rate will be simply extortionate.
Yes, a good airport, everything is clear quickly and efficiently, the main thing is not to change money in exchangers, it will be much more interesting on the street near the hotel
I love this airport even despite the lack of comfort. The main thing is to have everything you need. You can drink coffee before departure, and have a snack. The air conditioners are working and there is a place to sit.
Thank you for building a new airport building, but the problems are still old. Entrance on departure is also upon presentation of a ticket and passport (you can show the ticket from your phone). This creates queues at the entrance. Small children are free, customs is not fast- like everything in India. There is no business lounge. On departure, you have an extreme gate at Aeroflot and the plane is on the other side of the airport and you are enjoying a long promenade. There is another feature that in the morning from 8-11 o'clock there are no flights (the airport has a break) and the Aeroflot flight, which was postponed from 7.30 to 8.30 (the plane was delayed at Sheremetyevo), took off only at 11.30 and you are sitting on the plane for 3 hours. There is a smoking room with a cigarette lighter - lighters are selected during inspection.
We arrived recently. The airport is changing slowly. Just like the Indians themselves. There are not enough seats for everyone, the kandiks are working. The prices in the buffets, as well as at all stations, are high. The margins are huge, for what I just don't understand. Why is it so common that departing passengers need to be ripped off in full at all airports after registration. Simple water turns into an expensive drink!
In general, everything is fast and comfortable. But it is unclear why there is only one cafe with rolls in the international departures area and that's it! No shops, no restaurants. This is not possible while waiting for boarding or flight delay. At the same time, everything is available in the domestic flight zone.
I put one star on it...queues, everything is slow, incomprehensible checks and indifference of employees, neglect in places...they only let us into the airport by tickets, we had electronic ones, there is no Internet, and my husband did not download the ticket in advance ..., electronic cigarettes are taken away on personal inspection, and by the way, it costs 5 thousand, it is unclear why they are taken away...the airport itself is large, but in the zone, after all the checks, not a single store, cafe is so-so, when I saw a man sit on a chair in a cafe, the legs of the chair broke, he fell, he was not well damaged..a bar stool was brought to replace him, and the table turned out to be somewhere in the area of his knees. ..In a word, this is India, baby!
A good airport under military protection, relatively clean, perfect toilets, of the disadvantages - few seats in the departure area, in the lower part, and not so many different kiosks

A good airport, convenient access to the city, clean inside, all the scoreboards are working. Registration is without delay, there are some, you can drink coffee in the darkness, not local, but quite European. The food is, like everywhere else, rare rubbish, with a bunch of spices)
Military airport, smoking on the street is not allowed, it is possible only near the outdoor toilet. They brought it early, there is no business hall. Lighters are being taken away. There are two Russian flights in the waiting room at the same time, there is a smoking room. The prices for coffee and burger are higher than in Moscow airports. There is a lot of space.
An international airport, but apart from the building, nothing good
The locals recommended to arrive before 04:00. I arrived in 3.5 hours and didn't miss the plane for two. There is a huge queue at the entrance of patamushta, the security guard meets the passport and ticket of each passenger. Then an hour in the queue for registration. At the same time, Aeroflot and Catch passengers stand in line with everyone, despite the presence of a separate counter. I accept an additional payment for the excess only in cash, cards are not accepted, dollars are not accepted, and there is no exchange office in operation. Then the queue for an hour at passport control. Then there is a queue for an hour for baggage inspection. It looks like the employees keep all their notes in notebooks.
Clear. There is very expensive food and drinks in the departure hall of domestic flights, there is no Goan rum in duty free, smoking room. 0.5 kingfisher 900 rupees
We were in Goa for the first time, the mouth is open, everything is extremely interesting) thanks to our tour operator for the person transfer, for the emotions. India, we will definitely come back!
Kapets! I don't know what to write. I left a review about the supermarket, and then Dabolim came out :) 6 times I flew to India and there was always Dabolim. One thing I don't understand is why are lighters being taken away??? There was no such thing in any country, only in India. The last time I was at this airport was on 12/16/2023 - it was very cold!!! Why should the airport be so cold? We were brought to the airport 3 hours before departure, customs / inspection was quick (surprisingly), after 15 minutes I dressed down to a down jacket! Children are not free. Coffee prices, as in Moscow:) but there is a smoking room. Yes, in general, it is a normal airport.
An ordinary simple airport, the check-in area may not be well thought out, there are souvenir shops and a fairly large food court area. There are enough places in the waiting area.
We arrived at the registration in advance and quickly passed the inspection and passport control. I was with a child, they left all the water, the rest according to the rules, they did not try to bring anything forbidden in hand luggage. Very expensive food court, mini pizza 490 rupees, small sandwich 290, espresso 290. There is no duty free. Aeroflot's boarding started in advance, we took off on time

People who have written positive reviews – Are you okay?! Or is there simply nothing to compare it with?! Or these are custom reviews, which is most likely (judging by the text).
Upon arrival: it is necessary to go through passport control, which takes at LEAST ONE HOUR – this is if you are lucky with an employee who is trying to move, and if you got in line (like us) where the employee did everything except his work (walked away, talked, just sat, and if invited to go to I did everything VERY SLOWLY for him) – this is the part only about employees, and now you need to add another "high–speed" computer system + fingerprints, which need to be applied a couple of times, and "that is not read" is an HOUR and a HALF) – and at the same time it is quite stuffy in the hall.
And so for an hour or an hour and a half (if you're lucky) and only one plane passes through passport control! I can't even imagine how much time it will take if you get on several flights at once!
Upon departure: you can enter once (exit and re–enter is problematic), all the same passport control and the speed of its passage, at baggage drop–off - if one plane is loaded, then the queue will pass quickly, and if several – you understand ... in the inspection area – they pull out ANY kind of electronic cigarettes and lighters, but and that's not the main thing, but when you get to the departure zone – three mini shops / cafes with sandwiches, coffee, etc. and that's it! through the glass wall where local, normal shops and cafes fly out, but you can't get there.
And most importantly, there is no need to justify laziness and unwillingness to work, and God knows what else, by the mentality of Indians, and even more so by the status of the airport – that it is military, therefore, such a thorough check. Passport control is a kind of business card of the country – attitude towards you and so on! And if the airport and its representatives CONSCIOUSLY allow themselves to mock tourists ... Now I understand why sensible tourists refuse to stay in GOA.
The airport is getting better every year. And the work of the staff can be understood. This is India. As soon as you arrive, you need to stop, be more tolerant and kinder.
Not a big airport, with good infrastructure. Minus: no landings are announced, you need to track flight information yourself. It is better not to smoke on the territory in front of the airport, the police monitor this and issue a fine.
Minus one ⭐️ for the "speed" of the service! That upon landing in Dabolim, the control took a very long time, that on the way back the flight was delayed by as much as 2.5 hours. Everything is sooooo slow…
The organization of the inspection is poor, the queues are huge. There are a lot of children, elderly people and everyone is standing. We were brought to the airport in 3.5 hours and we stood in queues the whole time. There was no time to have a cup of coffee, just for boarding. And that's all since 3 a.m.
We took off from Goa from South Goa Dabolim Airport, which, unlike Mora Airport, is 2.5 times closer to D.Betalbatim (18 km), taking into account the narrow winding road for half an hour drive. The transfer service was provided by the hotel free of charge. The airport turned out to be excellent and with a large capacity. I was struck by the ultra-strict inspection and control system, starting from the street. There were armed officers at the entrance, with a computer monitor in front of them. Only departing passengers could enter the airport building if they had route cards and identification documents. The latter immediately made their way across the monitor. After check-in, when entering the departure area, the women went through the frame separately from the men, and were additionally searched in a separate booth with a curtain. Hand luggage was carefully viewed through the TV. Our backpack was returned back to the conveyor belt, having pulled out the contents, then it was passed empty 3 times, but in the end nothing was found. But we've lost enough time. I saw at the exit from this area on the table a mountain of confiscated small bottles of water, all sorts of seemingly harmless little things. So I realized that it is necessary to take the contents of hand luggage very seriously and responsibly before the upcoming flight.
We were flying from Goa to Dubai, and there was one small cafe and vending machines in the waiting area after passport control. That's it, there is no duty-free.
We arrived early in the morning, went through all the procedures pretty quickly. Verification is very slow at customs control. It's the same on the way back. Hand luggage is checked several times and very slowly. There is no duty free.
A military airport, everything is serious in hand luggage, even cinnamon was not allowed to be carried out, but the counter was not weighed , the duty free was removed from the word completely , it used to be , there is a smoking room purely for smokers , you can also have a snack
The airport is generally good, but the Indians are certainly a specific people.
They work as if they have been working for eternity.
The only plus is that the plane won't leave without you!
We arrived on a regular flight from Bahrain, and we checked in very quickly. Check-in is also very fast on the way back. One drawback is that there is no Duty free.
As it turns out, the check-in windows are not always indicated on the scoreboard, while we were waiting and realized that we had to look for these windows, running around the airport, we were late for check-in, and despite the fact that there were still 40 minutes left before departure, they refused to put us on board (their local a / c IndiGo), we had to change tickets, pay a lot extra, and stay in the car for a few more hours. On the next flight, the exit number was changed in the scoreboard, but in fact, it turned out to be different, already having bitter experience, we ran and searched for it ourselves! At the same time, no one ever announces anything over the speakerphone. In the departure waiting area, only their currency is accepted for payment, dollars / euros are not, and it is impossible to change them, there is simply nowhere. Because rupees were given to pay extra for tickets, there is almost no local money left for food, and there are several hours to wait for the plane, and no food is offered on the plane, or even water - only for individuals, apparently, by pre-order when booking, which we also, of course, did not know, because in Russia, drinks are always served, and we did not need food, because the flights were short. We searched and checked tickets several times, everything is very slow in the inspection area, huge queues, which is why international flights are delayed, all passengers are waiting - domestic flights are not steamed, they are sent as is, 40 minutes before departure we were not even put in)) ... In general, everything is kind of wonderful there.... The conclusion is to be vigilant, take care of yourself, because no one cares to specify or specify the registration or exit windows correctly. The staff of the local a/c is indifferent - there are a lot of people, there is zero sense, you will not get anything from them....

A gorgeous airport, you understand the standard of living only after visiting several cities. Clean, modern infrastructure: check-in desks, waiting rooms, scoreboards and software. Clean bathrooms, trouble with cafes: there are few of them, everything is not very tasty, the most decent: coffee in Costa. There is an adequate exchange office inside, you can buy a local phone SIM card on the spot for 450 rupees
Four stars for having a port in Goa. Everything can be forgiven for this - endless absolutely unnecessary inspections, two-hour queues at the border both ways. Queues are everywhere, come well in advance.
The inspection is thorough, at the entrance to the airport you will be ready to show your passport and tickets, you do not need to print them out, it is enough to show tickets on the phone, the staff is good, they do everything quickly, tourists are treated perfectly, hand luggage is not weighed, the smoking room was not found

A sensible small airport. Everything is compact, the waiting room is spacious, and a huge fan is running. My flight did not appear on the scoreboard until the very beginning of boarding, I was a little worried. There are cafes, there are no duty free shops at all!!))
The airport is clean, but the inspection is just terrible. Without explanation, they withdraw everything they like. Smoking at the entrance on the street is not allowed. There are so many machine guns that it's like getting into a secret government base in Africa. Armored vehicles and checkpoints decorated with bullet points do not set up for rest at all. And they also did not find currency exchange and the sale of SIM cards at the airport, they arrived early in the morning and had to go to morjim for a predatory $ 25 (back 20 in a car with a higher class and a conder)
There is a huge queue at customs upon arrival. It is dirty, smoky, there is no additional information, there is nothing to fill out visas, there are no pens, no tips. The staff is in no hurry. People gathered from 3 planes, 6 customs officers worked, no additional employees were put in.
I was there 5 times and I'll tell you, well, finally you can safely fly away. There are no 4 baggage checks, 10 times to look at my passport. Finally, civilization
