Beautiful, good entrance to the water, clean sand, inexpensive sunbeds, near the Damlatash cave (well, like a cave, a large grotto, but tourists are taken) a cable car next to the mountain to the castle, everything is fine) but! A lot of boats with tourists, sometimes because of this garbage in the water
It's a great place, but there are a lot of people in the season. Entering the water is steeper (deeper) than in other parts of the beach. If the sea brings algae, then there will be the most of them, but this is rare.
Our favorite beach all over Cleopatra! Very beautiful rocks, crystal clear water. A wonderful place for photos! If the sun is hot, you can always hide in natural caves
The most favorite beach in Alanya, I strongly recommend it to everyone to visit at any time of the year: clean sea and beautiful landscapes are provided
A favorite place of tourists and locals of Alanya. We swim all year round- in winter on sunny days. The high cost of renting sun beds is not a problem. It is easy to place on the sand.
A great place for swimming, closer to the mountains. Sand. You can have breakfast in the park near the beach on the glade, many locals come for picnics.
Big, clean, and beautiful. You can swim even when there are waves. Umbrellas are paid, but they are allowed with their own umbrella and towel and there is always a place.
The best beach in Alanya. The water near the mountain is the bluest for photos, and there are always fish for snorkelers. Sun beds are the most expensive, but it's a thrill without them.
The beach is beautiful. The water is clear. We were in November, clean. Convenient entrance to the sea 150-200 meters from the mountain. Sun beds are paid, 140 liras for two sun beds.
Everything is great: clear azure water, soft sand, beautiful views of the mountains and the fortress... But. There are a lot of people. Accordingly, it is very noisy, crowded and there is a lot of garbage on the shore. There are also disgusting changing booths on the beaches, some of which are even impossible to lock yourself in.
The most beautiful beach in Alanya with a wonderful view of the mountain. There are no slabs at the entrance, wonderful either coarse sand or small yellow pebbles, the color of the water is incredible! Immediately deep, not for bad swimmers, especially in waves. But we were lucky on both visits in October, the sea was calm. There are sun beds, there is a place where you can lie on your mats. Footwashers, shower, changed clothes, toilet are available.
A very beautiful landscaped beach, parallel to which there is a promenade with benches, playgrounds, flower beds. The entrance to the sea is sand and small pebbles, sometimes there are stones. There are sun beds and umbrellas on the beach, which belong to hotels or bars, you can rent and also use a toilet, shower, changing room. Across the street is a city street with bars, cafes and shops.
I really like this beach. It is considered one of the best beaches in Turkey. There is always enough space for vacationers.A funicular works nearby. There are many cafes along the beach. We were here two years ago and decided to stay here this year too. The sea is warm, the water is clear and transparent. We will definitely come back!))
Cleopatra Beach is magnificent. You will definitely visit Alanya, the hotel beaches are incomparable. There is a fanicular nearby, you can climb to the Alanya fortress. The beach is municipal, the entrance to it is free, if desired, you can rent a sun lounger and an umbrella. If you have your own umbrella, then it's better to sit on the sand, it's nice to burrow into it. Have a good rest.
Nicely. There are many sports and playgrounds. The sand is white and fine.
The toilet is paid, there is a lot of garbage on the coast, however, as well as in the water (maybe just unlucky in time).
I think many people have visited this wonderful place on earth, but still everyone has their own impressions. Mine are on top. Maybe I have nothing to compare it with, but still I want to return to the Mediterranean coast again and again.
The beach is long, where there is sand and pebbles, where there is finer sand. I was unpleasantly surprised by the strong waves that sweep away everyone on the way. It was practically impossible to go into the sea for all 10 days, and it was even more difficult to get out of the sea, the waves knocked down and twisted back and forth. There is nothing to do with small children at this moment. I was also unpleasantly struck by the presence of stone and slippery slabs almost immediately at the entrance to the sea. It is impossible to stand on them - in the first days they hurt their legs and arms there. But then we found out that beach #1, 6, 9 is without slabs. I liked the 9th the most. You can bring your umbrellas to any beach. Beach stuff was unpleasantly impressed, they refused to provide deck chairs on the 2nd beach, because we had 3 adults and a child and we asked for 2 deck chairs, but stuff demanded to buy 4. But Turks can do everything!
Cleopatra Beach got its name from Cleopatra, the last Hellenistic queen of Ancient Egypt, who lived between 69 and 30 BC. According to legend, when the Roman commander Anthony presented Alanya and its surroundings to the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra, Cleopatra went down to Cleopatra beach every day to swim on the slope of the castle.
Wonderful sand, closer to the cave there is a sandy entrance to the sea. Next, a slippery slab along the entire approach. All beaches are well equipped, there are many sports grounds.
I was on the beaches of Cleopatra from August 10 to August 20, 2024.Good swimming is only on the zero beach near the cliff, but you should try to get there before 09:00 to take a place in the niches of the rock, where without umbrellas you can hide from the sun at least until night.Beaches 0-5 are not cleaned by anyone - there are an average of five cigarette butts per square meter.Smokers can be easily found on the beach. After I saw that even the Germans, and not only the Russians and the British, threw cigarette butts, I didn't even pay attention to representatives of other nations anymore. On the first or fifth beach, because of the underwater plates, you can swim without fear only for those who can easily cope with the impacts of sea waves. You can take a leisurely stroll along the sidewalk along the embankment from the Damlatash cave to the covered bridge on the other side of the road and back.Along the way, you can stock up on water from drinking water columns on this sidewalk.
The beach is like a beach. An overblown attraction. Changing booths without locks, showers are hot, prices are high. And the Mediterranean Sea is always beautiful!
In general, it's not bad) the beach is more made of fine fine stone than sand) the structure itself is like that. The locals litter a lot, but they seem to clean up after them. The beach is huge, the children are comfortable. There is little infrastructure, but in general, there is a paid and free toilet, shower and feet to wash)
It's sooooo beautiful, first the sand at the entrance, then the big boulders, it's better to take water slippers, there are sun beds on the beach to pay for them only in lira.
Nice and clean beach, warm water, cafes and restaurants nearby, fresh juices and ice cream. You can spend the whole day under an umbrella. From the cons- from the beach # 2 to # 5 at the entrance of the slabs and stones, you need to be careful.
The beach would be gorgeous if it weren't for the pigs that litter there. I've never understood such things, is it really nice to relax in the mud?Well, be human, take the garbage to the trash can!
But at least this year, surprisingly, we didn't see any garbage at sea, and that's good.
The water at the end of October is certainly not so warm, but still it is quite comfortable to swim, but when leaving the water it is better to have a towel or something warm ready, since a cool wind is blowing.
One of the best beaches I've been to. The sand is coarse-grained. The water is clear and turquoise in color. View of the mountain, from above the cable car passes. Minus , well , if only the changing rooms are poor .
The best, most luxurious beach! The sea is crystal clear and warm! It shimmers with different colors. You can consider colorful fish. The sand is pleasant. It's all clear. There are always few people.
A gorgeous beach. The only thing you need to know is where it is more convenient to enter. Since there are slabs almost everywhere and only in a couple of places you can walk along the sand. These places are immediately visible there are the most people in the water.
A kind of attraction, too, the city's Cleopatra beach, is used by everyone. Sun beds and umbrellas are paid, you can rent them, or you can just lie on the sand or on a towel.
The beach is large and free, clean white sand, you can rent sun beds, there is a cafe, a bar. I didn 't like the fact that you move away from bera into the sea and there is a stone slab across the entire beach and with strong waves you can twist your leg, sliding on this slab
It was very dirty, I was disappointed, we returned again, we were given a chance, but we couldn't even enter the water- what doesn't swim there ... 3 stars just for the location, beautiful views. As a result, we swam only on the beach at the hotel. And the dream was to visit Cleopatra. It's not worth it
How I love this beach and the sea! The most beautiful sea I've ever been to! This extraordinary turquoise color! No wonder the beach was called "Cleopatra's Beach", pebbles the size of rice, I have also never seen this anywhere. Sun beds can be rented on the beach. There is a nice little park nearby.
A very pleasant place - the view, the sand, everything is just super, and the water is an amazing emerald color and always crystal clear, swimming is a pleasure. Here, adults jump from rocks into the water. It is very convenient to enter the water - the entrance is coarse-grained sand. Therefore, the water is always clear, there are a lot of entertainment on the beach - cafes , restaurants, Damlatash cave, you can visit it.
Beautiful beach with pleasant sand) The water is turquoise, especially closer to the mountain on the left. One of the best public beaches. Even better than a 5-star hotel. I recommend to visit here)
The beach is covered with fine sand, it is very pleasant to walk on it, the water in the sea is clear, clean, even in November it was not cold. The beach is clean, the cats are walking impressively. On the beach there are changing rooms, a shower, a faucet to wash your feet from the sand. The view is the most beautiful, the sea and the mountains.
I really liked the beach, there is different sand in each part of the beach. The water is clean and transparent, while swimming quietly you can see the fish under you. There was an unpleasant moment when my girlfriend was bitten by some small fish.
The beach is dirty, no one cleans up and the local municipality apparently does not care about it.And the tourists themselves are just assholes, they come to relax , sunbathe and litter , they will not take their garbage after themselves, so they will bury it in the sand there, the bulls do it as it should, bottles, and other garbage. and it's fine with them. despite the fact that they call him famous.Maybe a long time ago, when there were no tourists, it was beautiful, clean. And Cleopatra herself really rested there, but now it looks like a garbage dump.Kapets is a shame for tourists ,.My husband and I go with a bag and collect garbage.on the way from the beach .Those who sell deck chairs with umbrellas also have no business, they are only interested in how to rip off a tourist, the cost, as we understand it, is not fixed who walks for the first time, they are 10 dollars, who knows that 3 dollars.
The beach struck with its beauty, depending on the location of the sun, the color of the water changes, turquoise before lunch, blue after, small pebbles, every 100 m there are free changing cabins, showers, there are no queues, we swam next to a rock
