In January of this 2020, we vacationed in Dubai and stayed at the Delmon Boutique hotel, it seems it was previously called Duff, somewhere on the maps there is still an old name, in the Deira area. Perhaps once this hotel was 3 stars, but now it is clearly a maximum of two, and I would give 2 stars at best. The rooms smell damp, it feels like the hotel has not been renovated for a long time. The interior is outdated, the carpet in the rooms is kind of old, you can feel thousands of feet that walked on it, spilled something.. generally not pleasant. The bathroom and plumbing are in a depressing state, some uneven seams on the tile, fallen plaster, broken faucets, old toilet seats on the toilet and most importantly problems with hot water ((. Water happens for a certain time, you can wash for about half an hour, and there is no exact time, how you get there, the rest of the time the water temperature can be called more than cool;-((.. taking a shower is like a tempering session. Upon entering the hotel, they immediately discovered a number of problems in the room and waited an hour for at least minimal problems to be fixed, such as non-flowing water in the sink and non-working lamps. The only plus is that the employees are ready to come to the rescue pretty quickly and fix the malfunctions, but the hotel itself clearly needs a global update. In the small dining room of the hotel, cockroaches were seen right on the table with food, the breakfasts are very simple, you can eat something, but they are always the same, they get bored in 3-4 days, and do not change at all, soy sausages are cheap. On the transfer, we were brought the very last, about 1.5 hours from Al Maktoum airport, while everyone was taken away. But the hotel does not have a single transfer to the beach or any mall, outlet, which is very strange for a 3-star hotel. In addition, there is no parking for the transfer. The hotel is far from the metro..About 15 minutes on foot through areas where you rarely meet white people. Mostly there are visiting Indians, Pakistanis, Blacks. On weekends, and this is Thursday and Friday, crowds of Hindus come to the hotel, and in the morning there is not a crowd in the dining room, including sitting down. The Hindus just ate standing up, with their hands, of course, this is in their tradition, but for us it was just a shock:-(, the dining room is clearly very small. On the 4th floor, you can hear music playing all night in the rooftop bar, which greatly interferes with sleep, those who do not sleep well, obviously will not fall asleep. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone! :-(((
Deserved 3 stars. The hotel has 2 night bars ..it is impossible to sleep even on the third floor until 4 in the morning. There is a kettle in the room .for a short vacation without children is normal. The area is old ..colorful ..the metro is 10 minutes away.there are supermarkets nearby .
