It's a pity the arboretum with its majestic trees..it dried up by 30-40% over the summer, geese and swans disappeared (people say) this year. The cold winter may be the reason for this.. This is a favorite place of the townspeople and students during the holidays! The places of sale and stalls have been removed!! It has become cleaner!

Clean air, a landscape of trees pleases the eye. There are tracks for running, cycling, and walking. You can have a picnic with your friends (But please clean up the garbage after yourself!) There is also an artificial pond. Swans and geese live there. You can feed it with bread or apples. I advise all guests of Shymkent to visit our Arboretum)

A piece of fresh air in the city! It breathes fresh, as if in the forest!
However, there was no water in the pond, and in some places unscrupulous tourists threw garbage! Things are still bad for people in Shymkent with this, they shit right where they live!
We saw wild birds and even ate wild apples and plums!
I hope that the arboretum will remain the same wonderful place and will not go under the construction of a residential quarter!

A pretty enough arboretum. The smell of the trees is incredible, ducks and swans are swimming in the pond. Walking with your family or alone is very good.
Of the cons: there are no cafes or at least stalls where you can buy a snack or drink; very strange sculptures of animals that are well out of the subject.

In fact, it's just a huge park - but I think that everything is still ahead. Or maybe we weren't just walking there... In any case, it is a suitable place for lovers of walking in the fresh air and in nature, lovers of jogging. There are bike paths. Several companies were sitting on the grass here and there - they had a picnic. Strangely enough, there are no mosquitoes, although there is a fairly large pond in the center of the park. Entrance is paid, but a penny - 30 tenge, 6 Russian rubles; it is unlikely that the amount is sufficient to maintain such a large space. It's a good place!
