A school from my childhood. Everything about her reminded me of when I came to the first grade. It feels like I've returned to the USSR, where everything was bright and festive.
At one time, I graduated from the first 4 classes here. The homeroom teacher Kolomeitseva Marina Vyacheslavovna is a wonderful teacher, she gave a very good base, taught how to write letters correctly in the first grade. Some thought she was too strict, but she couldn't cope with the children, everything was moderate. The English teachers were also of a fairly good level.
This year, my sister graduated from the 4th grade at this school. It has been a difficult 4 years.
The first teacher (Svetlana Grigoryevna) was constantly yelling at the children, she was constantly sent to some courses and there were replacements in the classroom. As a result, my sister's drawing and labors were often replaced by mathematics and Russian, because the teacher could not present the material in the allotted time. Their writing lessons consisted in the fact that the teacher wrote a letter on the blackboard once, without paying attention to how to write it, and told the children to write a letter that looks the same. As a result, now my sister writes letters irrationally using time and they come out crooked, with numbers the same way. There was a lot of homework, the parents explained more than the teacher.
After the second grade, the principal and several teachers were removed because there were some corruption schemes.
Then we were unlucky the second time. They put a young teacher who had just graduated from university. The children did not show any respect for her, apparently she did not show character. As a result, they could just stand for 20 minutes in class and "listen to the silence." And what can be given for the remaining time?
I had no luck with English either. Ruslana Fyodorovna led it at her sister's. Almost all the homework was in a printed notebook, and a lot was asked. In their subgroup, a maximum of 1-2 people did it themselves, the parents did it for the rest.
Igor Alexandrovich led the second subgroup, so their children constantly learned words, read and translated texts, as for me the more correct approach.
To sum up, here's how lucky you are to have a teacher. I recommend asking about a particular teacher from those who studied with him before bringing a child here
My children attend this institution: kindergarten and elementary school. Wonderful tutors and teachers, children go with pleasure in the morning. We were lucky
Primary school is always good, because there are no elders from whom you can learn bad things (only at home with your parents and sometimes with children.on the site near the house). The teachers are good, only the first shift, it's pretty decent, even though the building is old.The windows have finally been changed!
High level of education. After graduation, children are head and shoulders higher in knowledge than in many other schools. A separate elementary school is much more convenient than together with the senior classes. The school holds fun holidays for children, which prolongs the "World of Childhood" a little
The most wonderful school!! 4 years in it flew by joyfully, interestingly and richly. A great advantage is the concentration of all management and teaching staff at the junior school level. Everything is for them! The school has additional clubs and sports sections.
The school is terrible. And in a terrible state. I have already regretted 100 times that I sent my child to this school. Although there was a choice to go to the 4th school. We moved to the 4th grade. But now the roof is being overhauled. Due to strange circumstances, it began to be made only in August. And before that, they fenced off the school for half the summer. Today is August 16th. The entire roof of the school has been dismantled. The deadline is August 24-25. The fact that it will not be done in time is understandable...and I think if every effort is made to deliver the object, then how will it be. The school is in an extremely disrepair...and everything that is fast is never good. Honestly, it's scary even to go to school. But there is also cleaning in the classrooms after the pogrom, and in some classes, repairs, because it is known that many classes have suffered major damage. But don't believe about knowledge. The school has earned its reputation only by participating in all sorts of useless contests. Some kind of paid MANDATORY mugs have been introduced. For which, regardless of attendance (absence or illness of the child), you will pay the full cost. Well, probably, as everywhere, teachers have their favorites ... that is, the rest of the children are basically interviewed in the classroom and they do not have the opportunity to adequately assess. And get ready for the fact that during the 4 years of study at this WONDERFUL school, you will constantly be engaged in repairing classrooms and schools. In short, it's better to think 100 times!!! Personally, I can't wait for us to graduate from 4th grade and move to another school. It's a pity for first-graders, for whom September 1st should be a holiday! And it will most likely take place on the ruins of a long-abandoned and useless school...the only school in the city of Gomel, the walls of which will not withstand the replacement of windows!!! Good luck to everyone!
