Beware of extremely slow and unresponsive export custom handling
First I should say that I am very happy with most people at DHL,Serbia. The major problem is the people working with export customs clearance, specifically Anastasija K. My daughter was moving from Serbia to Sweden and we shipped her household items. Anastasija K. sent me a mail in Serbian as if I was exporting goods. I wrote back that I don't understand Serbian and that I am shipping my daughters household items and needed help in filling out the document. No response whatsoever. I mail in total 5 messages but no response. I called DHL Serbia who said that the problems with delay was at export customs and that they should notify her and she would get back to me within 1-1 1/2 hours. She never contacted med. Finally, I had to call DHL Serbia where a very kind guy gave me all the necessary information, which I sent to Anastasija K. Not a word as answer. Finally, after waiting to send the boxes for after waiting since April 3, the boxes were send April 30. Even so, it took from that date until today, May 8th, until I received the boxes. Much, much longer than promised for this type of shipment. Airway bill # 3368946265
The DHL service point in Belgrade made a great impression on me. The staff was polite and professional. The location is very convenient. I especially liked that I could track my parcel in real time and it arrived on time. I will definitely use this service point again and recommend it to everyone. Excellent quality of service!
