The impressions of Dilijan and the surrounding area are twofold. It was highly recommended to us and perhaps our expectations were overstated) autumn is really beautiful here, but it is not very convenient to move around. Either you need to rent a car in Yerevan, or take a taxi, and you are not always lucky with a taxi driver, you can get there normally using Yandex taxi, or you may not be able to find a car for a long time, or run into an aggressive taxi driver who will ask for exorbitant prices. They force you to not just get to the point, but give you an hour there and then take you back or somewhere else, and in an hour it's usually difficult to look at something calmly and as a result, running around without pleasure and also asking for money is often expensive (and it's not always possible to leave normally if you only get there.
It is also not very clear exactly how to view the national park, which routes, there is practically no information anywhere. In fact, you are looking at monasteries again (as in other parts of Armenia) and lakes) and the distances between them are large. We did not find any interesting hiking
routes that could be walked without a guide. There are no beautiful viewing platforms in the mountains either. Just a beautiful forest) in general, without a wow effect)
