We stayed at the hotel at the end of March! I liked the room. It's big and cozy enough, and the mattresses on the beds are comfortable. Large bathroom! We lived on the 4th floor, the restaurant on the 9th. The restaurant has panoramic windows, the view is great. The breakfasts are very simple, there are no fruits or vegetables. If you are traveling with a man, he will have nothing to eat!
The hotel is conveniently located in the center. The Old Town and the Embankment are 10-15 minutes away on foot. You can take a taxi (3 manats) or a bus (the fare is very inexpensive, but you need to buy a few cards, we bought at the airport)
I would like to mention the hotel staff separately. Very friendly, hospitable young people! Thank you Nika, Fuat, Ruslan!
The hotel is cozy, located in a very good location. The staff is excellent, I especially want to express my gratitude to Nigar at the reception. She always helped us, she was very helpful. If I come to Baku again, I will definitely stay at the Diplomat Hotel.
The hotel is tired, the Chinese smoke in the rooms and the toilet always stinks of chicken. The food is excellent, there is everything for breakfast, from fruits and dried fruits, vegetables and canned food, including olives. The chefs prepare national dishes for breakfast, there are ready-made breakfast cereals, I had breakfast. There are soapy bathrobes in the room. If you are not going to stay in the room, but to walk (and there is something to see in Baku), then it is for the night and breakfast.
