Great location. But the hotel is very very modest, for very unassuming tourists. Clean and good linen. Modest monotonous breakfasts. A huge minus is that it is cold in the rooms, at a temperature of +10, in the room 17 degrees, the double-glazed window is thin, the wind walks through the room
Great location, friendly staff. Everything is at home.
Decent rooms, even if not with a super-fresh renovation, but everything is neat. What is very important when traveling is high-quality mattresses.
It was a little disappointing that our room (triple) had only one outlet
A small family hotel, one of the advantages is a good location near Registan Square, near many souvenir shops, cafes, a large market. We had a room on the ground floor next to the reception desk. Accordingly, you can hear everything that happens there. The local people are very sociable, relatives and friends constantly came and joyfully and loudly discussed current issues until late at night. I had to go out and swear. The rooms are shabby, a minimum of cheap furniture, dirty, they do not bother with cleaning, they do not take out the garbage, they have to be reminded many times. Breakfast is necessarily a fried egg with two eggs and a sausage. It feels like they just don't understand what a hotel is. 🤷♀️
It's a great place. He works out his three stars to the fullest. The room was large, there was always water, the wifi sometimes pulled badly, but this was not critical for us. The breakfasts are average, but we didn't expect more. Very friendly staff, helped to navigate all issues. Literally two steps to the left of the entrance is the caravanserai building. It has a restaurant, very atmospheric. They serve tourist groups and private tourists. The hostess gave Min a tour of the building. The food is delicious, European and local cuisine. Very tasty Turkish coffee, there are few places in Uzbekistan where you can drink coffee at all, they know how to cook it in this restaurant.
You can only come to this hotel to laugh at the lack of service, and even then it is a dubious pleasure. The description of our stay is below.
Bathroom:
On the first day there was no hot water, it was cold (not even warm). I had to wash cold and swear at this God-forsaken hotel.
The plastic shower is godlessly leaking, after each shower there is a lot of water on the floor, cleaned with extra towels. In the morning on the day of departure there was no water AT ALL, I had to go wake up the man from the reception, he was sleeping on the couch there. When I asked when there would be water, he replied with an amazing "I'll turn it on right now." After some time, a cold one appeared, and the hot water tap was spitting, it did not work out to wash.
Room cleaning: there is none, they have never been cleaned in 4 days.
Another joke: there was no more than half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom upon arrival, I had to ask (and we were not alone), because there was no cleaning in 4 days and, accordingly, no paper was put. Due to the lack of cleaning, the wet towels on the floor began to rot and the two trash cans too.
There was no bottled water in the room upon arrival, and there was no water in the cooler on the floor either. In general, no one is watching the cooler, you need to ask to change the bottles.
They turned off the lights twice in a row, sat with flashlights, but not for long. Uncritical.
Breakfast: the same every day, fried eggs, sausages, sausage, tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese, if you get it. It's all. Some days there were not even tea bags, only 3-in-1 coffee. Dirty dishes are not removed from the tables, you sit down in a place free of dirty dishes. The tables are dirty.
There are also advantages: the location in the center, Registan Square is a 3-minute walk away.
A wonderful hotel. The very center, buffet breakfast, tea, coffee for free without restrictions. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo, gel, hair dryer, refrigerator, TV. Everything is great. And most importantly, attention. The attitude towards the guests is above all praise. Attentive, friendly, they will tell you everything, help you. I have never seen such an attitude anywhere. Thanks for everything. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
I liked everything very much.Very nice hosts. We checked in before 14 o'clock.Fresh delicious breakfasts.Cleaning on demand.I recommend.I would have come a second time.
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. During this time, they did not clean up once, but what is there cleaning, they did not even just throw the garbage out of the room. When the room ran out of toilet paper, I had to ask the receptionist at the reception.
There were no regular black tea bags for breakfast. At the request of the lady who worked in the dining room, the lady threw up her hands and replied that yes, they were over. The tables in the dining room are dirty, and the level of dirt remained throughout our stay at the hotel.
The biggest advantage of the hotel is its location between the main attractions of Samarkand. Therefore, you can spend the night at the hotel and run around the city.
An outrageous hotel. I have already paid in full on the website in advance. But when I arrived at the hotel at 23:00, the young man who works there told me that I was late, so the hotel canceled my reservation.
Provided that I have already paid in advance (Even if I had not arrived at the hotel, what damages do they have?) The preservation of the room is obviously the responsibility of the hotel. Is it reasonable for them to cancel my reservation? They didn't even apologize! I read the reviews of this hotel on the Chinese website, I am not the first unlucky person who has met such a case. Obviously they do this a LOT.
Another young man promised that he would return the money tomorrow. but I have not received any return for 24 hours, I went to the hotel twice and asked him to return it in cash. The young man always replied that the owner did not allow it, I need to go to him. But the owner is always not there. Finally, I complained on the site, the money was returned in 2 minutes.
The hotel is located in the old part of the city, close enough to all historical sites. The hotel is on 3, we had a room without windows). The breakfast is normal, the hostess cooks herself,
I do not recommend it! I booked a room directly at the hotel, made an advance payment, and the reservation was confirmed. Upon arrival, there are no rooms…
The curtain!
