We liked the hotel, the staff is polite, there is a lot of food and everything is edible!
We lived in a large family room and cleaned it very clean, the floors were washed every day as well as the plumbing. The hotel is very simple, everything is old, but everything is decent.
During the pandemic, the service began to limp everywhere, but not here. Wine and other drinks are always brought at lunch, regardless of nationality and tip. They pour it without regret. It's not very convenient that the beach is across the street, but we liked it too, we walked with pleasure.
The kids were happy to dance at the mini disco, there seems to be a show for adults somewhere too. On the last day, we were allowed to have lunch after our bracelets were cut off. I am attaching the true photos of the beach. Among the disadvantages is a playground, where all there are two swings of the 80th year, and the fact that there are no tiny water slides for children, and slides are only for very adult children.

A good place to relax.
The Holiday Beach Hotel was vacationing from 29.08 to 12.09.2021. This is the second time. For the first time in 2019, and I must say that there are differences. The rooms were renovated, the facades of the buildings too, although it is noticeable that the finances of the hotel owners were limited due to the crisis, but they tried. Everything was great for the first five days. The hotel was less than 1/2 full and we thought it was because of viral restrictions. The territory itself and the adjacent beach are free, no crowding, noise, just grace. However, they noticed that they began to clean the restaurant worse, there had never been crumbs of food under the tables on the floor before, fortunately everything was clean and tidy at the distribution, as before. The menu is a little more modest, including on the outdoor veranda, in the pool bar and on the beach, but this is not critical with such occupancy. We went on a 2-day excursion to the Sahara, a lot of impressions, we communicate with fellow countrymen, the staff always smiles and certainly greets when they meet, but it started on Saturday evening. Mass arrival of local residents. Such a fun weekend had been practiced before, but usually by Monday everything was back to normal, and then several buses (4 or 5) were brought at once and there were families on private transport. Immediately, all new guests are invited to the restaurant, have lunch and they went.... The children began to take out bread and other things to their parents with bags, apparently in reserve. On the tables, shifted 3-4 in a row for large companies, there were mountains of plates with food that had not found use. It looked like a hurricane had passed through the tables. There is also food under the tables, and used napkins, the same picture at dinner. Only breakfast was held in the usual calm atmosphere, only the crumbs under the tables reminded us of the evening "belly feast". On the outdoor veranda after lunch, where they were treated to pancakes and other pastries, everything was swept clean, there was no point in taking up an endless queue of hungry children and their mothers who had just emerged from the pool. On the fifth day of the aborigines' stay in our hotel, they began to leave and life began to return to its usual course. You could breathe a sigh of relief and try to forget it like a nightmare.
I understand the desire of the administration to earn money after a whole year of crisis, the absence of vacationers, but such an "exit" can alienate a large number of regular customers. Reputation is more expensive. I hope that the administration and the owners of the hotel have realized their mistake and will not allow a repeat of this "rampant democracy" in the future. I really don't want to leave Holiday Beach on such a sad note, we liked everything there and therefore next year we will risk coming there again to ride an ATV through the desert and taste real dates.
Regarding the support of Sunmar, the permanent accompanying guide Hamdi was very friendly with our group, always in touch, answered via WhatsApp, including created and daily maintained a separate chat group also in WhatsApp. He planned a trip for the two of us to buy souvenirs, despite the fact that there were no more people willing. He did not offer excursions obsessively, only if desired by vacationers. He walked us almost to passport control and when we had a problem with the baggage receipt, he immediately responded. He's just great, I'd like to meet him again, he's good for communication. I will say more modestly about the rest of the Russian-speaking guides and the vocabulary is smaller and the local accent is so strong that it seemed at the end of the trip I would speak Arabic myself. But we must pay tribute to them, they were also friendly to vacationers and tried to answer all questions.

We had a rest with our friends! I liked everything, especially the sea, the beach and the pool! The tourists are multinational, which pleases! There is a beautiful girl on the beach, Leila (in a red baseball cap), from whom we bought crabs - it was very tasty! And you can also ask her about any questions, she will never refuse! And in general, a very sincere person! There are camels and horses on the beach, and one day there was even a fennel, but they do not come close to tourists and do not bother, on the contrary, there is something to see! We were satisfied with everything!!!!!

We had a vacation with our sixteen-year-old daughter in early August 2021. We were in Djerba for the first time, so we were a little wary when checking in, it seems like a vacation in Turkey, but not everything is like that. However, we had a sooo good rest. The food, the rooms, the order in the hotel itself - all this corresponds to the stated assessment. The receptionist and staff are very polite, solve problems right away. Special thanks to the hotel administrator, who solved the problems without any hints of a separate fee. There is a small minus-several times after cleaning we were not left with towels, we had to go to the reception, but later our compatriots suggested that we should tip. The most gorgeous ADVANTAGE of the hotel is the animation team. Everyone is delighted with them. All kinds of sports, dancing for adults, dancing for children, mini disco, disco. Thanks a lot to them, I would give these guys 10 points.

We vacationed with young children from August 24 to September 2 , 2021 , bought a tour to another hotel, but settled in this one . Thanks to the manager of this hotel, he did everything for us so that we were satisfied and the incident was settled. But we will not take another tour from Tui. Now about the hotel, there is everything you need for children and family holidays, the sea is super, the pool is fire, animation, the food is very good!!! We will definitely go there again.

Everything that is written is nonsense, starting with the rooms, dirt curtains made of thick oilcloth are dirty, stink, there is practically no furniture, the children's room is like a pantry for dirty buckets and shovels, children's 2 tables are all dirty, there is no playground except 2 swings, the children's pool is cold because the sea water is immediately filtered and not heated by the sun, it is worth the podium, only there are dirty dishes from alcohol all the time, the kids almost don't go there, the animators are not what, all are not neat shaggy, generally not pleasant, they dance in the evening, all to the same music, the same dances, while they do not forget to lick the French, because in this hotel everything is for you can't ask them for anything for a fee, the prices are kick-ass, refrigerators and safes are paid, cleaning is simple, they can give towels, they can forget to put shampoo, soap and gel, you have to beg for them, the food is the same every day, what they didn't eat in the morning they will finish in the evening and at lunch, there is no food for children, everything is spicy and if slime and jelly slurry are considered yoghurts sour cream and mayonnaise, then I pass this, our children were always hungry, if the hotel accepts small children, then it is necessary to introduce the concept of settling families and nationalities, they do not have anything to run through the corridors yelling slam the door of their rooms when everyone is sleeping at night, Russians do not put any for a penny, the priority is only the French and Arabs who do not know how to behave and do not teach their children. The staff seems to be good. The disadvantages are that cleaning starts in the afternoon, and according to the time difference, our children sleep during the day already, they make noise, scream, knock without restraint and come in opening the doors with their key. Everything that is written about the spa is bullshit, nothing works except the indoor pool, which is always shit. The beach is dirty, the bar on the beach is only soda, drinks are normal in the lobby bar, and snacks are brought a tray that was not eaten for breakfast, of course not enough for everyone, pancakes and donuts are baked on the veranda from what was not fried for breakfast, + only that the hotel and the pool are very beautifully decorated, the Djerba area is filthy stink ruins

Very nice hotel) friendly staff, huge pool, everything is clean. The food in the restaurant is varied and very tasty. We asked for a room with a sea view. Beauty! Good cleaning. Camels on the beach and horses did not interfere at all. Conversely. The beach is being cleaned. But who can handle the waves at sea? Yes, sometimes both seaweed and sand are in a swimsuit. If you want clear water, please go to Cyprus, etc. We recommend going to Midun. Wander through the streets. And we didn't like it in the capital. The staff is friendly. And the attitude towards Russians, so, I'm sorry, it's your own fault. Visit the Sahara, those who dare-ride ATVs, but not camels. It was in late October and early November 2019.I liked everything.There were not many vacationers.the rooms are standard.not much outdated.There is no refrigerator.There is a safe in the room.but for the money.the air conditioner is shared.take a mosquito spray.The food is excellent.Animation for a C grade.The pools are great.The beach by the sea is dirty .a lot of algae.if they don't clean it.then you come out of the sea covered all over with grass.there is a shower and a bar on the shore.There is nothing for young people to do there.only for family and elderly people.

Old hotel rooms, old plumbing, camels and horses are constantly on the beach - there is a smell from camels, it is unlikely that you will be able to breathe the sea) The beach itself is dirty - they clean it up, but there are still cigarette butts and camel meat in the sand. You can smoke both on the beach and by the pools - non-smokers have to breathe cigarette smoke in the heat of 35 +. There are a lot of annoying, pesky flies that crawl over food and body and which the hotel does not seem to be fighting
