This is a good Turkish 5* but not a real 5*.
We came from Germany and were provided the room 1566. The hotel territory is huge and beautiful and well maintained. My husband got a small surprise on his birthday: a cake, fruits and wine. Uninterrupted food supply is of a good quality. Food is delicious and freshly cooked. Very clean. In the evening we enjoyed the lobby area and were provided popcorn and strawberry. The cocktails quality was low. Therefore, we ordered just water and wine. Coffee was tasty. In the lobby they had professional coffee maker.
The main breakfast include fresh orange juice, Russian pancakes, oat porridge, semolina porridge, rice porridge, waffels, cottage cheese, seasonal fruits.
I was satisfied with the hotel staff except guest relation department. I can explain: when we asked them something or gave feedback we were told either to call 7777 or go to the reception. Why you can’t do it if you are guest relation? Weird.
The most weird was 13 Feb between 11:30 am and 12 pm. Our Reiseleiter told us that we can order breakfast box for early excursion and we requested it. But we got a notice that it was only possible to pick it up - until to 7 am! Otherwise we should visit a breakfast area. It didn’t meet my expectations and it was unpleasant surprise to get this kind of answer. His attitude was unfriendly not only for us but for other guests as well.
I want express my gratitude to the staff at the restaurant - awesome service.
Unfortunately there was no animation and shows. Animation team is total Katastrophe! All of them are very rude, impolite, don‘t speak good neither English, German nor Russian! We found them only at day #8 in the corner of the bar drinking cocktails. Unbelievable!
There was even no background music. Seems the hotel try to save money.
We spent our holiday like mourning. I may return here to retirement, but not in the next 20 years for sure. Don’t recommend for young people up to 45 :)
