It's just a delight! Everyone is required to visit! I would have gone further to see it, the height is 2500. You can move on horseback or on foot, we walked, we didn't regret a bit. You rise as you physically develop, you look, admire, take pictures. We went down to the lakes themselves, I also advise everyone. At the top, even in hot weather, a cold wind blew, everything was fascinating and admired. Neither to convey in words and photos, only to feel and see.

A wonderfully beautiful place in the mountains of Abkhazia, above Lake Ritsa. The altitude is over 2,300 meters above sea level. The beauty of the local scenery is mesmerizing. The air is ringing. I definitely recommend you to visit.
The best place we have visited in Abkhazia. The altitude is slightly more than 2000 m above sea level. Types of fairy tale. From the Pyv pass to the lakes is about 7 km, the same amount back.Preferably trekking shoes and a raincoat, the weather can change quickly. In short, the state of DELIGHT!!!
The places here are very beautiful.
We were there in early July.
We drove in a rented car to the turn where the bad road begins. We decided to walk. In principle, we have passed more than half of the way. On the way there is a fascinating coniferous forest, a river.
An excursion jeep picked us up the rest of the way and took us to the point of departure of all excursions.
The ascent to the lakes themselves took about an hour. We walked quickly, almost without stopping to rest, overtaking groups of tourists.
The road to the 7 lakes also fascinates with its views - alpine meadows, streams, cows with bells from the milk advertisement😄
When I got to the end point, I had to wander a little, because the navigator got a little lost, there were no signs, so the fog fell, it started to rain. The lakes themselves were still under the snow, it was still the beginning of the season, we laughed at our "expectations and reality".
We also went down on foot, we were also picked up halfway by kind people, with whom we then drove to the mineral spring and a cafe located nearby.
When planning a trip, you need to make up for the season, and it will still be difficult for children and the elderly.
I liked everything very much, take sticks, water, a snack and you will be in a good mood. Majestic views, the trail is steep in places, but it passes without problems)
This place has become the most important impression of Abkhazia. They couldn't get away from the impressions for a very long time, unreal views that just make the heart stop. The valley of the seven lakes is located at an altitude of 2600 meters above sea level and the walking route to the place is about 2.5-3 hours walk from the place where the guides bring you. In total, we walked there and back for 5 hours and 10 km. It was very hard, so it's very important! This hiking trail is only for hardy people and not for the very fearful, because in some places it is really very scary to climb because of the height and danger of the trail. It is unlikely to be convenient to go there with children. Only if you take horses, although such a long journey on horseback will also be very difficult. But if you are ready for the challenge in order to get incredible impressions, delight your eyes with stunning views and purify your soul with mountain magic, then I highly recommend it!
A fantastic place! When we come to Abkhazia, we always come here. The road to Ritsa is excellent, but after that, in places it is completely dead. It is better to drive an SUV or four-wheel drive car.
The beauty is simply indescribable. The views are so mesmerizing. The path is really very narrow in places, it's hard to climb, but in general it's quite realistic to walk. It is definitely worth your efforts to go this way, for the sake of such beauty.
We drove on our own, the road....Well, you can't call it expensive, and in principle
We didn't get to the valley ..... we got lost, but the places there are terribly beautiful, terribly beautiful!

On May 5, 25, the entrance after the Ritsa is closed by a barrier. locals say that there is a lot of snow now, it is impossible to pass and it is better to go there no earlier than the end of June.. It's a pity I couldn't visit these wonderful places.
Nature is simply of indescribable beauty! We went up for 2 hours, went down for an hour, with a few breaks, in general, it is not particularly difficult. Bring water, comfortable shoes and sunscreen. The walking route is better than riding horses.
We were on 7 lakes with a friend and children on horseback! The tour was taken from the Pyv pass. The guides explained everything well how to behave with horses. The road is beautiful and picturesque. The final daughter is the valley of 7 lakes. The view is breathtaking. The only thing is, no one said anything about clothes. They burned down very much. Be sure to cover your feet, hands and face from the sun.
We were in early September, walking from the Audhara base along the trails: 10 km in one direction with a drop of about 1000 m (we walked along organic). We reached it in 3.5 hours. By 10 a.m. we were at the first lakes, only we, nature and the guide dog). Tourists began to appear closer to 11 o'clock. In trekking shoes, with sticks and sunscreen, the route will not be difficult, there will be a rash on 2-3 short sections. The place is very beautiful!

We went to this beautiful place in our car. We walked about 7 km in one direction and also back. This path can be traveled on horseback. But we're glad we went on our own. It's scary to ride horses, especially back when they go down.
I recommend this place!
The place is magical! We climbed to the maximum in a passenger car. Then, about 6 km to the pass, we were taken by a local resident on a UAZ truck. At the same time, he categorically refused to be rewarded! We went with the whole family with children of 20 and 18 years old. Despite the fact that they took a lot of water with them, on the way back it seemed that there was not enough water. But closer to the site, where the jeepers are taken and the base of horse-riding excursions is located, there is a small key that shoots straight out of the ground.
The route itself took us quite a long time. We were in no hurry and tried to get around everything to the maximum. See everything, take pictures of everything. Towards the end of the route, we met 2 local residents, as I understood from the guides. We had a nice chat with them. We received advice on how best to go down to the lakes themselves. It's one thing to just walk into the valley and another, as in our case, to walk around each lake. So the people on our way were only wonderful!
The descent to the lakes themselves also took a lot of time. A small halt was made near one of the lakes. At another lake, we met a white horse grazing alone! At first, they couldn't believe their eyes-how did he get there!
There are a lot of impressions. Mountains, sky, beautiful lakes, clean air ...... Of the cons-of course it is very hot. The shade was extremely rare. And we also came out unprepared. In shorts and T-shirts. As a result, they were quite fried. And when we just got out of the car, the temperature was +8 ° C!
Finally...... This trip took a whole day. We are happy that we decided to go. It was worth it. There are a lot of impressions!!!! I recommend this wonderful place to everyone!
This is the place... I don't have enough words to describe the delight of what I saw there! The beauty is mind-blowing. We walked to the valley not with our own legs, but on horseback - this is a separate kind of pleasure! Come and enjoy, you will definitely not regret it.
The hiking route is not difficult if you have already had experience in such hikes. Two women of about 50 years old were walking with us, we were climbing on a par (I am 22), maybe 1-2 times more, they stopped to rest. The path is generally easy, after each steep climb (they are short) you go for a long time to rest in a straight line, your strength recovers quickly, you will not get tired. It takes about an hour to walk. I advise you to go down to the lakes, there is also incredible beauty near them, and the descent to them is along an almost straight road and short. On the way back down, it's a bit hard at times (shoes slip), but not a disaster. We went in the middle of September, the weather was +24, it was hot in the mountains, we climbed in T-shirts and shorts. I advise you to walk, not on horseback. Sport is life!
The hiking route is difficult, take a horse if you have no experience in hiking. Enjoy the views from a horse, otherwise you will crawl up your tongue on your shoulder, like me (I have already reached it just out of principle). The lakes are certainly gorgeous. I recommend going down to them. At the same time, if you ride a horse, there will be no such opportunity, because the guides are not waiting. The shoes are crosses, the socks are longer under them. If you bandage your knees on foot, you may fall. The descent is also difficult, the leg goes out, because you practically run down the mountain. Sunscreen, headgear, water is mandatory. Do not throw away the bottles, cold water can be collected on the way from the spring. I am writing from fresh experience.
This is another real Pizza! For those who can afford to take friends and climb the mountains by car. Walk a lot and see even more, and then spend the night in tents at the foot of the mountains.
The path is quite difficult , you can ride a horse for an additional fee.for a fee , be sure to reach the second peak , which is 300 meters from the end point , from there there is a stunning view of the Caucasian ridge .
The way to the valley of the seven lakes is not easy: It takes a little over an hour to walk through the mountains in one direction for a beautiful and inspiring view of the mountains, lakes and soaring clouds, but it's worth it! No special training is needed for the hike, only a positive mood, water, a chocolate bar and a charged phone with a camera! I advise you to go this way to discover the mountains!
The place is extremely picturesque and, having descended, you are unlikely to regret, despite (in my case, rather thanks to) a long walk with large elevation differences. Only seven full-fledged lakes (such as the Mza) cannot be counted on, they are very small and shallow.
This is an amazing place!!! Emotions are overwhelming, although it is a very difficult climb. We reached the base, where we left the jeeps, in 1 hour and 40 minutes. This is a record))) as the locals said. But it was worth it)) You are walking, clouds are above you, clouds are below you, the beauty around cannot be expressed in words. ))) Very satisfied!
