Front doors of Tbilisi.... 😍😍😍
Not the entrances, not the entrance groups, but just like that - grandly and beautifully - the Front ones 🥰
There are several front doors in Tbilisi, striking with their gorgeous architecture. We only managed to watch two. And each one is a work of art 🥰🥰🥰
Absolutely all of them are locked. You can't get here from the street just like that. But we were lucky every time and we were able to see these masterpieces that have been preserved for centuries...
So, the first one is in the house of the merchant Kalantarov. It is considered one of the most beautiful houses in Tbilisi, built in neo-Moorish style. The combination of Spanish art and Berber motifs strikes the eye. The preserved railings, lace stucco and an ancient fireplace look especially beautiful. Since 1908, the front room has been heated with this fireplace and it was so cozy to come here in winter, from the frost... Just imagine how the cane of the gentlemen tapped on the marble steps, how the hems of women 's dresses rustled here with crinoline and silk...

The beautiful mansion of the merchants Kalantarov, 1906. One of the most beautiful apartment buildings in Tbilisi. You can go inside, in one entrance, the door is often open. Now these are communal apartments, a nice woman comes out and tries to take a bribe from tourists! It's worth it))
