A museum with a wonderful exposition and a wonderful audio guide! A very competent and interesting presentation of the material, we listened with great pleasure. And they even learned something new that they did not know from history textbooks. Definitely the museum named after A. V. Suvorov is worthy of the many attractions of Kobrin. For those traveling by car, it is a very convenient location with parking right next to the museum. And at the exit on the left there is a bakery with sweets, a nice bonus for the road! 🤗

An unexpectedly rich museum in the countrysideThere are many original preserved items from that time! A very good guide, the only thing I didn't like was that you can't make a video for memory. Then how can you preserve the atmosphere of your museum for many years to come? 🤷‍♂️

For the first time, I visited the A.V. Suvorov House Museum together with the entire 4th grade in 1966. There are still childhood memories of rare weapons, banners, and awards of that period. In 2023, he visited the museum with his 12-year-old grandson, who lives in Orenburg region. It's a great experience, as if you've been to the 18th century. Suvorov A.V. admired, as if alive. The grandson watched with great admiration.

A wonderful museum!Firstly, it is incredibly atmospheric, there is a sense of history there. The museum staff's love for their work and, of course, for the most famous commander in the world with the naked eye.Theatrical performances are held in the museum, telling in the first person in costumes of that time (for group excursions, they are recorded in advance). The exposition is quite thorough, although I would like to see some of the personal belongings of the owner of the house, which were almost absent. In general, the museum gives an extensive idea of the life, everyday life and historical events of that time.

Take the time to come in. This one won't take long. A good spiritual museum that preserves the memory of the Russian commander! The price is ridiculous, the sincerity is priceless. I didn't know about the city of Kobrin at all, I happened to be very impressed! I will definitely come back for a little longer!

I visited Kobrin for the sake of this museum. And in general, I didn't regret it. The museum is interesting, with many exhibits. He tells in great detail about the life of Suvorov, his campaigns, and concerns the Kobrin period of his life

Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov, generalissimo, who did not lose a single battle, but was discharged from the army without the right to wear a military uniform at the height of his career. He believed that "every soldier should understand his maneuver" and argued that severity without affection is tyrannical. A knight of all Russian orders of that time (and several foreign ones), he began serving in the rear units, that is, he mastered the issues of providing and supplying troops, learned foreign languages, and at almost 70 years old, he crossed the Alps with his Austro-Russian unit to pacify the French revolutionary campaign of Napoleon Bonaparte. The relationship between Suvorov and Paul I, who ascended the throne in 1796, was very ambiguous. The latter actively embarked on military reforms that moved lower ranks to a much more comfortable level, and officers were driven into asceticism, compared with their previous lives. Pavel was afraid of a military coup and suspected Suvorov of participating in the conspiracy. However, in vain. The second was devoted to the state system, but, following the laws of officer honor, he did not give out the facts that he knew ... History is written by the winners, and many facts and events after more than 200 years are increasingly difficult to assess unambiguously. In any case, the museum is worth visiting, and everyone involved should read Suvorov's "The Science of Winning" to be charged with idealism and patriotism (the soldier who does not strive for them is bad!).

The museum is beautiful. First of all, I would like to draw attention to the museum staff who know their business and tell the story of Suvorov. The exposition provided in the museum is amazing in its number. I advise everyone to visit this museum, you will get wonderful impressions, the cost is 5 rubles per adult, for preschool children for free.

I love this place dearly. I definitely visit Kobrin every time I visit. 1. Compact, but at the same time very informative exposition. 2. Atmospheric. 3. Accompanied by an even more interesting guide / audio guide. 4. Educational handout at the checkout. Cost: + 6 bel. rubles audio guide, + guide 30 or 35 rubles. + entrance ticket 4 rubles. I boldly recommend it. Your inquisitive mind will find food for thought here.

A great museum! A decent exposition with several unique exhibits. An excellent collection of 18th century weapons. A wonderful guide, who is invited at the request of visitors. In the subject, answers questions. There is a good cafe nearby for a snack :)

We arrived on April 29, it was a day off, we didn't get there, we stayed in a hotel in Brest and decided to stop by when we left, we stopped by today on May 1, it's closed on a working day. Although it is not written anywhere for what reasons it is closed or when it will open, if it opens at all today.

A magnificent museum, expositions dedicated to the great Russian, and to some extent to the Belarusian commander Alexander Suvorov. A kind of place of power, where you can realize the depth and scale of military and managerial genius, attitudes towards soldiers, and the effectiveness of system management. I recommend you to visit.

If you know a little bit about the history of these places... it is not clear how so many unique exhibits were preserved in a series of wars. It is a must for all guests of Brest!

To be honest, 4 is too much, because the tour guide was boring and uninteresting. Using this material, you can prepare a fascinating story not only for adults, but most importantly for teenagers.

Unfortunately, we did not get into the museum. I RESPECT Alexander Vasilyevich and my father too. And Belarus is also RESPECTED !!! I took a picture with Alexander Vasilyevich. He's in bronze, I think. With my dad , I didn't have to.

An interesting exposition, I really liked the female guide (I forgot the name). A neat, well-maintained museum. The museum tells not only about Suvorov's life and career, but also about the legacy that remained after him. It is useful for all educated people to know.

I was there recently. Before that, about 30 years ago. I refreshed my impressions. I showed my son, he has heard a lot about Suvorov, is interested in his life. Kobrin is the estate of Alexander Vasilyevich. But in the church where he was married (the village of Undol near Vladimir), neither I nor my son were there. We need to fix it. I brought it as a patriotic education. I hope something will be postponed... Come here))

This is the place where a person who appreciates the glorious past and understands the value of the present must definitely get to. Pride in the deeds of the great ancestor should burst every representative of the Russian world who visits this museum. Suvorov is the only one who is unique and outstanding. He beat everyone up, winning fair battles on the battlefield. His fame has been dormant for centuries. Tourists, historians, military personnel, politicians and museum workers can see the real rarities in the house museum. You will not regret the time spent - it's worth it!
