I liked the place.
I haven't been to many places in Novopolotsk, but the place is atmospheric and pleasant.
The food is delicious, the service is good.
I recommend.
I visited here again on December 22, 2024.
I ordered pumpkin soup and salmon.
I was disappointed.
The soup is not delicious, although I like pumpkin. His serving is disgusting (three peeled pumpkin seeds and a handful of unpeeled ones). The crackers look like they came from a beer snack store.
Salmon is a separate story - ground, that it costs like a sturgeon, and the output is 100 grams of fillet with bones.
In short, for those who are going to eat here, do not look at the fish and vegetable soups.
The shura and meat dishes are quite decent.

A good place to relax. The parking lot is large. There is a lot of space in the hall on the 2nd floor. Pleasant communication with the waiters, everything was brought as ordered. The lighting at 4 is probably organized according to the style of local historical sketches.
In terms of the quality of cooking, by 4, there is something to refine. Local dishes like draniki should be toasted, and when pressed on the surface, there should be no abundant oil release. Preferably chopped sausages. Otherwise, there were no questions.

We visited Polotsk several times, looked at restaurants above 4.7*, the Dungeon was one of the leaders in the rating, took a walk around Novopolotsk and went to the Dungeon on 04.01.2025, the restaurant looked good, a cozy large hall, ordered several different snacks, salad and hot dishes, alcohol and drinks, the service was very friendly, but the cuisine was not higher 3-ki, it seems delicious, but not the level of a 5* restaurant, a delicious dining room that pretends to be a restaurant... my score is 3*, but I decided to put 4* so as not to offend anyone!

It's a nice restaurant with a great interior. We were on a weekday, there weren't many people, the service was fast, without any intrusiveness. The menu is quite good, the portions are average, one of the dishes is quite heavily salted. They have only four beers of their own, but all are quite good in taste and density - everyone can choose something to their liking.

This is the first one! a restaurant in Polotsk-Novopolotsk with good, correct and pleasant service. The waitresses are very nice girls, with smiles and beautiful clothes. From hello to goodbye, the service was impeccable. The serving of the dishes is not only beautiful, but also correct, which was very pleasing. The dishes were served to the guests at the same time, there was no such thing as one eating while others were waiting. The dishes, the serving, the waiters -everything is very, very decent. The food is delicious and fresh, everything is under the knife, even desserts. So far, this is the only restaurant in the city where it is clean, beautiful, cozy and delicious! I recommend it!

However, it's a celebration of soul + body+taste! Amazing!!! Beer - of course, you can find fault with the dark, but definitely not enough 1.5-2.0 density. But everything else negates the quibbles about dark beer. The kitchen is great! The tinctures are gorgeous! Yes, and the background music is great. And the interior? All together - the atmosphere !!! A good restaurant-bar. Beer from your brewery, fast serving, quiet, unobtrusive music. The kitchen deserves special praise. Snacks of its own production, dishes of Belarusian and European cuisine. Separately, I would like to mention ice cream and desserts, unexpectedly delicious, despite their lack of profile, for such establishments.

The place is atmospheric. We were on weekdays, it wasn't crowded. The menu was very varied, everything was delicious. Even the moose meat was cooked delicious, not dry. There are 4 types of beer. For connoisseurs of this drink, the very thing!

On the way from St. Petersburg to Minsk, we decided to have breakfast and lunch at this restaurant, and we waited another ten minutes for the opening. I ran through the reviews and planned a visit.
The parking was empty, the restaurant looked quite decent, and, yes, we were the only visitors at the time of opening (12 o'clock on Sunday, for comparison, in St. Petersburg there is nowhere to sit in places with good cuisine).
The place is pretentious, the restaurant is big. We had breakfast on the second floor.
The only employee is the girl who served us. I placed the order quickly, politely, but without kindness. Judging by the serving time, they were cooking, not warming up.
The chicken fillet was very tender, but in places it was not baked (with blood), pancakes are potato pancakes and everything is completely bland, from the word at all. I don't remember what my husband and son took, but they were disappointed. It was the first acquaintance with Belarusian cuisine and such a bummer. Fortunately, we managed to compare it later. And the comparison is clearly not in favor of Dongjon.
I don't know what caused the admiring reviews. For me, the kitchen and the service are three-star.
As for the price, it does not correspond to the taste and quality of the dishes, except that such an institution is expensive to maintain. This is the only possible answer.
Of course, we left a tip, but frankly speaking out of decency, not for the service.
I definitely do not recommend it.

There are overlays, but they are solved quickly. I was born and grew up in Novopolotsk, I have been living in Russia for many years. I've seen a lot. Today it is the best place to stay in Novopolotsk.
