March October 2024, I had a hair transplant in this clinic owned by the doctor who is our neighbor. Before the procedure, I was informed that the hair would come out at a rate of 92%. In addition, it was stated that additional medications given during the process will also provide a positive effect. Oct. Dec October 14, despite the intervening months, there was no significant hair growth in the transplanted areas, and the medications given did not provide any benefit. Before the transaction, I was told that a discount was made due to my familiarity and that 45,000 TL was a "special price". In accordance with this explanation, I accepted this high fee. However, when I examined the clinic's website after the procedure, I realized that the same price was offered to patients from abroad, including accommodation and airport transfer. Moreover, during the same period, many reputable hair October centers were performing similar procedures with a fee of about 20,000 TL. This situation has disappointed me both financially and in terms of trust. After the operation, permanent openings were formed in the back of my head due to the grafts taken from my donor area. Since the hair will not grow out in these areas again, I have experienced an irreversible loss in aesthetic terms. I also experienced severe pain that continued for a long time after the procedure, and I still have acne problems on my head. Although I have shared all these developments with the doctor and the clinic many times via WhatsApp and e-mail, I have not received any feedback. The apathy and lack of results I experienced in this area, where patient satisfaction, honest pricing and post-procedure follow-up are extremely important, negatively affected me physically, psychologically and financially. I reserve the right to exercise my legal rights when necessary. I was informed that — since I was personally acquired with the doctor — I was receiving a special discounted price of 45,000 TL. Based on this, I accepted the high fee in good faith. However, after the procedure, I visited the clinic's website and saw that the same price was being offered to international patients, including hotel accommodation and airport transfers. Additionally, at the time I had the procedure, many reputable clinics in Turkey were offering similar treatments for around 20,000 TL. This raised serious concerns about transparency and left me feeling misled and disappointed. Following the procedure, I developed permanent thinking in the donor area at the back of my head — an irreversible aesthetic issue, as the extracted hairs will not regrow. I also experienced prolonged pain for nearly a year, and to this day, I continue to suffer from scalp acne. Despite contacting both the doctor and clinic multiple times via WhatsApp and email — sharing detailed updates and photos — I never received a response. Patient satisfaction, honest pricing, and post-operative care are essential in medical services, especially cosmetic procedures. The lack of communication, poor results, and overall experience caused significant physical, emotional, and financial distress. I reserve the right to pursue legal action if necessary.
