We had a vacation with my husband from 12/18/24-12/28/24. At the beginning of the vacation there were a lot of Russians, probably 80 percent, but closer to Christmas there were a lot of Italians and Arabs. But everyone existed peacefully and rested. A large team of animators and all Russian speakers, which is unusual and very pleasant, entertain vacationers with games, dancing, exercising, playing volleyball ... in general, anyone who wants to. The rooms are in pretty good condition, they didn't pay anything extra, everything was fine with us. The beds and pillows were awesome, I didn't want to wake up. They left $1 every day, cleaned very cleanly, changed everything, it was always clean and pleasant in the room. But it seems to me that it would be the same without the reward. My husband just wanted to thank the staff. The staff is always polite and very friendly. At first we thought that the waiters were helpful for the money, but it turns out that they are just happy to welcome all the guests and are happy to help for free. The only thing that let me down was the weather, you wouldn't guess in December, it changes several times a day, sometimes the wind is strong and cold, sometimes it's warm. Do not buy excursions from guides. As you leave the hotel, turn left and walk for 7 minutes (there will be a tour desk "Gena and Cheburashka" - there excursions are 2 times cheaper. Sea excursions $ 20-30, ATVs-$ 13, Cairo-$45, water park- $ 35 and much more.

The air conditioner in our room broke down, I called the reception at 7 a.m. and asked to fix it. Naturally, no one reacted. We called them 10 times, went to them, everything was parallel. This is our first time in Egypt. We chose this hotel based on good reviews. We lived in building 38.

We have been staying at this hotel for the second year in a row. Conclusions and observations compared to last year.
There are a lot more people. The hotel is 100% full, as some buildings are under renovation. Repairs are not felt, because we got up in the morning and spent the whole day at sea, we came in the evening.
Waffles and pancakes are prepared for breakfast, they were delicious last year, this year the dough is made tighter and does not stick.
Although there were more people, there were no queues for food. Because new food distribution stations have been opened in the main restaurant. The food, in my opinion, has become more diverse.
The staff became more friendly, but the bartenders at the beach and restaurant were replaced, which became a minus. Since the new ones are completely prisoners. In the lobby, he's on his phone all the time, and it doesn't matter if there are a lot of people or not. But in general, everything is fine, the issue of towels by cards has appeared. A la carte restaurants, out of 3 in total, but only 2 are recorded. The mess is complete. The Mexican restaurant, I really liked it, the brownies for dessert are generally great.
The animation of course got even worse. For some reason, they barricaded the volleyball net with a gate on the volleyball court, so there won't be any volleyball, but it's a pity I really like playing it.

In general, in Egypt, of course, prices have increased everywhere now, for some reason taxis say that prices are completely inadequate and they don't want to go to yours, so in order to leave well, you will need to stop 3-4 cars. There is another point about taxis, there are prices for locals, there are for tourists, so no one will be lucky at local prices, only at prices for tourists. For tourists, the price starts from $ 2 for less, basically no one will go. For 2 dollars, you can leave both Naama Bay and the old town. For comparison, the Naama bay meter is 60 pounds.

Life hack: in the SPA near the water park on the day of late check-out, you can take a shower in the room.
4. There was Wi-Fi in the rooms, everything is normal. They will tell you everything when you check in. Not on the beach, we gave each other a SIM card we bought.
5. At this time in the evenings it was cool 16-18C take hoodies, vests, trousers. Local guys wear jackets.
6. There were mosquitoes in the rooms. Take a fumigator (or they are in the Fix Price on Naomo Bay).
7. The air conditioner was working.
8. For me, the main factors when choosing a hotel were: the sea (reef, entrance to the sea) and food. It's 100 out of 100. The food is good. Beef, chicken, fish, crabs were 3 times. Fruits: guava (very tasty in season), oranges, grapefruits, persimmons, dates, pomegranates, apples, melon. Mango was bought on the street for 1.5 -2 $ per kg. The youngest son just ate only cakes and pastries for 3 days in a row. Good beer and white wine.
The reef is wonderful! I recommend in the morning from 7 to 9 all the animals are "in stock", then apparently a lot of bathers or the sea warms up and the fish becomes much smaller.
We were lucky with the weather, the wind was only 3 days and one of them closed the entrance to the sea. It is windy on the main beach, but there is almost no wind in the rocks where there is a long concrete pier.
9. The rooms were checked in quickly, we had 2 rooms - they settled in the neighboring ones. 17 building with a magnificent view of the sea, first line, 2nd floor. We didn't pay anything extra.
10. The main pool is cold, no one swam in it, just sunbathed around. A warm children's pool, where there is a water park, on the beach.
11. The composition of tourists at the hotel was: 30%- Russia 30% Ukraine, 30% Kazakhstan and 10 Poland/Italy/some Arabs. There were no conflicts in the hotel. The Egyptians themselves are very friendly and welcoming. They came to clean the room every day (!!) we hung a sign, we didn't need to. They left 2 dollars - they twisted animals and towels, very nicely. The feeling that the Russians have some other attitude (I read it somewhere in the reviews) I didn't have a problem.
12. Our activities. We went to Cairo for a boat trip. With my daughter to the Hard Rock cafe nightclub in Nabok (it needs to be approached by the animators, they will arrange a transfer, an entrance ticket, an alcoholic drink and protection from intrusive fans in the club - $ 20-25). Take a taxi to Naama Bay for a walk (download the app and a one-way taxi will cost about $2).

We arrived in Egypt at 9 a.m. on January 8, there was an individual transfer, so we were at the hotel at 9:40 a.m., we were not given bracelets because breakfast was not served on the day of check-in, the bracelet was given only at 10:30 when breakfast was over, they promised to give the room only at 14:00. We didn't get confused, changed our clothes and went swimming before lunch. There was lunch at 13:00, and immediately after we had eaten, they asked us to check in if possible. They gave us room 3807, we had a bad look at the room from the flight and from such a "warm" reception and checked in, we had to demand an extra towel because there were three of us, we also had to convince the reception that the three of us would not sleep in two beds…
The room was relatively normal, but the bathroom was just a tub, the bottom of the tub was broken, the sink was clogged and the sink pipe was leaking. The water was brown, but this is the norm for Egypt, because we only came to the room to sleep, we did not change the room, but we informed the reception about the problems, we did not fix anything of the problems in 10 days. We really liked the view from our room, the access to the sea and the proximity to the neighboring hotel, so we did not want to change the room.
Habitation. Be prepared for the fact that tips will be demanded, the person who drove us to the room and showed us where our door was did not want to leave for a long time and demanded a tip, we sent him away because we dragged our things ourselves, cleaners do not give foot towels without a dollar and then come under any pretext that you would pay for cleaning. The bed linen is old and washed to gray. The pillows and mattresses are very comfortable, and we slept well. We needed a fumigator, we bought mosquito repellent plates at a local store, we did fine, but they bit us fiercely on the street. The hair dryer in my room was good and powerful enough.
Cleaning.
Mediocre, nothing special, on request. To be honest, I was very upset about the towels, because in the last two days we stupidly were not given a third towel and a foot towel, and considering that after a shower you will stand on wet, cold, glossy tiles, this is at least dangerous ‼️
Food. I really liked it, it was quite diverse, I have never been poisoned or had diarrhea! 10 points for this. The breakfasts are consistently the same, there is a large selection, and we ate more often on the territory of the Vacancy (a neighboring hotel) I liked the atmosphere there more.
But, the concept of a Restaurant in dream beach! You will have to ask for napkins and toothpicks yourself every time, how is this possible? It seems like a small thing, but it's such a BASE! These things should be on the table, the guest should not go and look for where to get them, even in Alaska napkins were given out piece by piece upon request!

There were three launches, but 2 of them are almost always closed due to the waves.
Swimming pools. There was a large cold pool on the territory of dream beach, it was not possible to swim there, but my son swam, as well as two small pools on the territory of the water park, although the water was warm, but because of the large number of children and fences, one could not dream of calm swimming.
During the whole vacation, we went to the dream vacation hotel, where there is a large warm pool with a slide 145cm deep and a little less than 60cm for kids, there were almost no people there, the water was much cleaner than in the water park and it was possible to swim. The sun beds are excellent and comfortable.
Animation. Just NOTHING! Very sluggish charging, I don't want boring darts, some games on the beach, evening animation didn't attend.
To summarize, for 10 days in this 2+1 hotel we paid 200 thousand, we were satisfied with the rest, the sea, the sun, the food, the rocks delight, beauty. We closed our eyes to the cons, had a good rest, by the way, friends were staying with us at the hotel, they had room 3619, everything worked and was intact. We have vacationed in many countries, we try to take 5*, there is something to compare it with, these five are straight extra-budgetary, but the climate in Egypt is the most pleasant to my perception. The concept of this hotel disappointed us, I think it would be possible to take a 4* room stock there after renovation and a little less meat dishes, but we went to them for dinners and breakfasts, we liked everything. What can we tell you? Of course, on the first day of check-in there was a complete SHOCK! The reception said that the room is one of the best. In fact: the sink is broken, the faucet is leaking, everything is in limescale, and the bathroom as a whole is in poor condition. The room is more or less, but the interior is very old. Apparently, since 1998 (the year of construction) there has been no renovation at all…
We came to the reception with a request to change the room, the administrator Mohammed met us, listened and told us to come the next day at 14:00. We arrived at the appointed time, but the same Mohammed turned us around, saying that he had not spoken to us at all and had promised nothing. We were very upset, but later decided not to waste our nerves.
The territory of the hotel is really large, as there are 2 hotels on it - 5 * and 4*. The territory is clean, well-groomed, but, of course, there are places that are quite dirty and abandoned. The whole building has been turned into a warehouse, and the places where tourists do not go are very dirty. There are several decent pools on the territory.
Check-in: arrived late in the evening, we were very hungry. They did not immediately check us in, put on bracelets and sent us to dinner while there was time. After that, they settled in fairly quickly. The porter carried the suitcases to the room, showed them everything and told them. I got a room in the 34th building, with a view of the sea and sunrise. The reception staff speaks perfect Russian exactly as long as there is no problem. If problems arise, they immediately forget Russian and communicate in Arabic or broken English. The hotel's population: Russians, Poles, Ukrainians, Europeans and A LOT OF LOCALS!!! The locals are not distinguished by decency, intelligence, cleanliness, good manners, including children. Animation: There is NO childish animation! There's nothing to do with children here! Animators of different nationalities are Arabs, Russians, Italians. Basically, all the girls. They are very friendly, sociable and active. Water aerobics, water volleyball, welcome dancing every morning. During the day, the animators are always at work, communicate with tourists and entertain as much as they can. The work of the animators is 100%!
Food: the food is simply excellent! Absolutely all the dishes are very tasty and well prepared. There has never been a shortage and battles for food, everything is replenished quickly, queues are extremely rare. The dishes for breakfast are always the same, but there is plenty to choose from. Lunch and dinner are more varied, there is always a lot of meat (chicken, beef, fish, turkey) in different versions. There are many desserts made from fruits - melon, watermelon, dates, oranges, grapes and apples. A charcoal grill is open every evening, meat, fish and poultry are cooked. They don't impose much, but they never refuse an additive. The staff kindly asks you not to take more than you can eat. A separate respect for desserts: chocolate is real chocolate, not soy. There is a wide variety of both local desserts and those familiar to us. Drinks include pineapple and orange juices, fanta, cola, sprite, water, tea, coffee. Local services are provided as a priority. Even if there is a queue of foreigners, locals are more likely to be served out of turn. Be prepared: on the day of departure, if you have a late departure, lunch, dinner, and bar service will be refused! And this is regardless of whether you used lunch or dinners on the day of arrival. Maintenance: there are also no questions about maintenance. The room is cleaned daily (optional), 1.5 liters of water per room are provided for 2 people per day. Tea, coffee, sugar, cream, and shower facilities are provided free of charge in the room. Towels and bed linen are in perfect condition, everything is clean, smells neutral
Souvenirs: opposite the main building there are various shops: souvenirs, swimming accessories, a supermarket and clothes. In the souvenir shop you will find EVERYTHING from a hookah to a magnet at very pleasant prices. The seller is very sociable, friendly, always ready to make good discounts, knows Russian well. You don't have to go anywhere to get souvenirs. The supermarket has everything you need: food, bath accessories, cigarettes, drinks. Be careful with the seller - he is unhealthily annoying to women, do not leave your wives, daughters, sisters and girlfriends alone with him!!!
Medicines: there is a Russian pharmacy next to the checkpoint of the hotel. Surgeons behave calmly, but you have to go through them very carefully and slowly, because any sudden movement is fraught with their aggression. In case of enemy contact with them, deep and painful cuts remain in memory, which only need to be sewn up. Fortunately, during our stay, nothing happened to anyone on the territory of the hotel. Surgeons didn't attack anyone, sharks didn't eat anyone, needle fish didn't pierce anyone, stingrays didn't sting anyone. There are always plenty of free sun beds. The glasses are dirty. 2 1.5 liter bottles of water with a non-factory lid, one with foam and the smell of lemon, the second odorless but hidden. The bathroom is dirty, even the mirrors. The four of us have two large towels and one small one. I went to the reception with a request to replace the bed linen, came, changed four times to the same hairy one. As a result, I swore for two hours and asked to change the number, to which they told me to wait until tomorrow until 14.00 and we will try to replace the number. As a result, it was five o'clock in the morning and we went to bed exhausted. In the afternoon, as a result, our room was changed, compared to the previous one, it was better, cleaner.
