The park, beloved since childhood, to walk, meet someone, relax, is changing, but not globally, the same cozy little park. This was before the construction of the metro, now it is rather a secluded place that it is better to walk to Komsomolsk Lake. But I still love this place, to sit in the spring on sakura alley, or watch the sunset from a 5-7 meter slide that found itself in the middle of a field, even there are benches on top.

My favorite park is next to the house. It is always clean and comfortable, there are sports workout areas, many benches, marked pedestrian and bike paths, nothing superfluous, just take a walk, admire nature, listen to birdsong. Now several have been dug up along the periphery due to the preparation of Bogdanovich Street for the construction of the metro.

This year, the park is specifically overgrown. The ravine leading to the old fountain is overgrown so that it is almost invisible. In many places, the grass is above the knee, and there is waist-high grass... was she mowed down at all this year?
It's good to take a walk here, I used to walk my dog here on a "joint walk". We built a sports complex, 2 playgrounds - it's great!
On the one that is closer to "friends", everything is painted with genitals and covered with profanity... The second one is better preserved because it is designed for kids.
One of the disadvantages is the lanterns . In the dark parts of the park (for example, where the stage used to be), the light is at best through one, besides it is VERY dim. It's a pity that the old fountain was launched - for as long as I can remember, there have always been a lot of people there, especially children (the little one herself loved to divide clay side by side and rinse her hands in the fountain, splash in it in the heat) - unfortunately it has not been working for a long time, it has completely overgrown. The tiles on all the tracks can be said to be ancient - even when I was little, this tile was already old and cracked a lot ..
It's also a pity that it was removed (could have been replaced) an old swing..if anyone remembers - there used to be a swing next to "friends", 10 meters from the old green lazelak/ old sports complex...

One of the largest parks in Minsk - and one of the least equipped.
For the last few years, a playground has been operating from Kulman Street (by the way, it is good), a path leading to it and skirting the back of the Friends restaurant with designer benches from Minsk organizations (left after some kind of competition or review) has been more or less made . That's practically all. The paths are not equipped, one memory remains of a once functioning fountain (in its place, interesting solutions are still being guessed, embodied many years ago, but, for some reason, forgotten and, almost naturally, buried), small canals (moats with water) in a neglected state, bridges over they are deprived of their former grace, and families with strollers, with small children, and the elderly are not very comfortable walking along lime, chestnut, and oak alleys due to the lack of good pavement on the paths. On the side of Orlovskaya St., closer to Bangalore Square, another playground has been installed, smaller, but for some reason, I did not observe any excitement on it. Perhaps you have never had to go through "rush hours" when parents take their children there. In autumn, a fairly large-scale agricultural fair is held in the park. The Ud is definitely the largest in the whole area. An open area has been set aside for it. Yes, it may be worth going, looking, checking out, buying.
Last year, a check-in was made from Orlovskaya Street with flower beds on both sides. So far, plants are just beginning to take root and gain their power, splendor, and beauty.
Since this year, engineering networks and communications have been re-laid along Bogdanovich Street from the park side in connection with the start of preparatory work to continue the construction of the 3rd metro line. So it's all been rummaged and dug up.
Bottom line: the park is good and beautiful in itself, but it just sorely lacks grooming and landscaping!

There is a place to walk.
On the downside, many people walk their dogs in an open field in the middle of the park on both sides of Orlovskaya, unfortunately, often without a muzzle and a leash.

While the cherry blossoms are in bloom, it's worth hurrying there, despite the construction of the subway, which somewhat spoiled the approach to the park. At other times, it attracts a large area for hiking. Sometimes you can find a hedgehog, a hare, and partridges there. Old tall poplars look majestic, in summer the scent of lime trees spreads throughout the park, in spring you can find wild picturesque lilac bushes. In autumn, I like to look into the Japanese corner. And for children there is a beautiful town with slides near the Friends restaurant. It is worth visiting on both sides of Orlovskaya Street.
