Friends, I want to tell you about our unforgettable adventure in the Dubai Aquarium! The children and I were amazed by the beauty and diversity of marine life, and especially by the cute penguins.
The aquarium turned out to be just huge, and we spent the whole day there. The children were delighted with sharks, rays and other marine inhabitants. And penguins are just something! They are so funny and funny!
We also took a glass-bottomed boat ride and even went scuba diving to get a closer look at the sharks. It was amazing!
In general, the Dubai Aquarium is an ideal place for a family vacation. We will definitely come back here again to once again plunge into this magical world of marine life!

An interesting aquarium. Somewhat expensive tickets if you buy for the whole family. The variety of underwater animals is impressive. It's especially cool to take a ride on a boat with a transparent bottom.
You can get close to the glass for free if you go up to the 2nd floor via an escalator. Both sharks and rays swim up close.
The rest of the places can be viewed from a distance, but up close only for money.

I admire it every time! The aquarium, huge in its height, makes a strong impression, all the inhabitants are perfectly visible - sharks / rays / fish are different. Previously, the upper part was also visible, where those who bought an entrance ticket could go for feeding, now, unfortunately, the top 1/4 was covered with some kind of advertising screen, the appearance immediately lost its entertainment. But the idea is great!

In March 2024 we were in the UAE. One day we decided to go to the Dubai Mall. There is an aquarium at the entrance. Taking the opportunity, we decided to visit him. Three adults and a child of eight years old, the cost of tickets cost 27,000 rubles of our Russian ones.
There are many different species of fish in the aquarium, there are penguins, crocodiles, otters, turtles. Interesting design of the zones.
We walked around the aquarium itself probably in about an hour. Overall, it's not bad. But the price, of course, is too high. Because people's standard of living in the Emirates differs from the standard of living in Russia. I'll give you an example, for example, a taxi from our hotel to the shopping center cost 14,000 to drive one way for about an hour.
The tickets that we were given could be exchanged for small compliments, so to speak, the child chose some crunchy balls and lemonade. Let's say a small bonus. There is a toy shop at the exit of the aquarium, where visitors can buy discounted toys, which turn out to be at a fairly reasonable price. I bought tickets in advance online on the aquarium's VIP website (these are: a pass without a queue, one interactive with an animal included in the price, boating with a glass bottom and feeding fish). Thus, at the checkout we chose - interactive with penguins and we had access to all corners of the aquarium on all floors.
What I liked: many species of fish, corals, a huge crocodile, swimming penguins behind a glass aquarium.
Well, what didn't you like:
We arrived at the entrance at 15:15, the visit to the penguins was scheduled at 15:30, so the first thing they drove us to them from the very threshold. At first, we sat and waited for the group to gather to the penguins (8-10 people), while we were all dressed in warm jackets, while we took our things to the lockers. Then they launched us into a small room, where we were introduced to the penguins. It is clear that it is completely in English, whoever understood something understood it. It's great that they let me pet the penguins. Well, the most interesting thing is that they were not allowed to take their phones, there was a photographer there. I must say right away - do not hesitate, pose as much as you want and as you want.
Well, why did I take off the star: as soon as we were released from the penguins, a real market began for these photos, the photographer and her assistant traded figures for how much and what we were ready to take. For some reason, they didn't print anything to us, although we asked. Although we agreed on the fact: 300 dirhams and we received absolutely all our photos on a flash drive.
The penguins had a lot of time, there were already less forces left to explore other places of the aquarium, everyone was hungry, so they ran through all the expositions quickly.
A glass-bottomed boat ride - fast, who has not ridden like this - may enjoy it. Feeding fish is also interesting. It is not necessary to buy a VIP ticket, all interactive games with animals can be purchased on the spot at the checkout
There are a lot of people in the aquarium itself. Overall, I liked it. But we didn't have enough emotions, a lot of energy was spent on penguins, the situation with the photos was annoying, so we also went to the aquarium in Abu Dhabi, which I strongly advise everyone to visit them both (if possible, finances and time of course)

The aquarium begins with a red carpet. There is a crowd of people standing and looking at the fish. It's completely free and very effective. The big wall is transparent, and there is a shark swimming behind it. I'd like to see it too. So, you paid 400 tugriks and you are being led between these people and this wall... To see how the same shark swims, but from the other side. And if you are four together, then this is not 400 tugriks, but 400 Bachinskis already...
Then you walk through the corridors and look at the aquariums. Minimum interactivity, maximum boredom.
Everyone goes and asks each other where the exit is))))
Cool inside:
1. There are penguins at the very top, that's really cool. The aquarium is half filled with water and you can see not only how they stand or wander funny, but also how they dive and swim like your torpedoes.
2. The alligator family. I've seen a lot of big ones, but this daddy is just a champion.
