you have to pay extra for a lot of things: a guide, feeding the fish, seeing penguins, how sea jellyfish are grown. and there is a part of the oceanarium that everyone can see for free. but after visiting this oceanarium, you won't like aquariums in other countries ☺️ the price is high, but it's worth visiting at least once in your life. you will see a huge number of sea creatures live. from time to time, beautiful girls swim inside the oceanarium like mermaids 😍 those who have lived in the emirates for a long time can tell you how to buy a ticket to the oceanarium cheaper 😉
This place is a must-visit, although it is very low-budget. There is a zone with attractions. Shows with dolphins and sea lions are held several times a day. For a fee, you can touch dolphins, penguins or sea lions. I wouldn't have paid for it myself, but the kids were thrilled. We spent the whole day there from opening at 10 to 18-closing and got an unforgettable experience. There aren't many people on weekdays, there are no queues, there are a lot of cafes with standard fast food: pizza, burgers, French fries, cola.
For some reason, it is here [Oceanarium, Dubai Mall, Downtown Dubai, Emirate of Dubai] that I remember almost a Classic for almost 146 years:
"It's good there
["A large number of underwater inhabitants in various aquariums will leave an unforgettable impression"], where we do not have registration
["One side faces the mall, where there is free access.
That is, please go and see "]" for free...
An afterword for the biggest (not in height...) supervisors: "... for an additional fee, you can go scuba diving)))" (Sergey L. Connoisseur of the 6th-level city on February 2, 2025).
I will take off one rating star with an ironic hand, because you can go scuba diving, but you can't find a pair (tandem) of antique amphorae from the first dive...
A fascinating sight! I admire it every time! The aquarium with sharks, rays and various marine life occupies several floors, on any of the floors you can stop and admire the marine world! If desired, you can get inside, visit the aquarium and even swim with sharks (ticket price for March 2025 is 199 dirhams), but the tunnel is very small. For those who have already visited aquariums many times, it will not be very interesting, but if this is your first time, then this place is definitely worthy of your attention!
I really liked it. A magical place. There's a lot to see. It is interesting for both children and adults. We passed without waiting in line, calmly took pictures, went for a walk, friendly staff. Prices start from 199 dirhams for adults and children over 2 years old. During Ramadan, discounts are available if you buy tickets online.
The aquarium occupies several floors, it is really huge. There is a wide variety of fish, and divers can often be seen inside. And all this in the middle of the mall. On any of the floors you can make a stop to take a break from walking, shopping, and just watch the life of marine life. Sometimes it calms down after a fuss. There are paid services, but it doesn't cost anything just to look.
It's a very interesting place, but it's not cheap - just visit the aquarium - $ 60 per person, visit the aquarium and go boating with a transparent DNTM - $ 75 per person, plus see the penguin farm — $ 90 per person.
But you can just look and even go up to the second floor and there is a very good view. Shark feeding starts at 2 p.m. and it's very interesting.
While on vacation in Ajman, I went for a walk from the hotel to the Dubai Mall. It is very pleasant to watch and admire different fish, real relaxation procedures - and it's all free, there are always a lot of people in the aquarium, both big and small!
A great place, especially when the weather is not good , waves or rain, you can entertain yourself at a reasonable price. In 1 hour we went around both the aquarium and the museum, in front of the museum there is a small playground with swings and loopholes, who can spend time with children in the evening after visiting it, the sunset view is very beautiful.
Do you think that a shopping and entertainment center cannot be considered a beautiful place? Just not in Dubai. The Dubai Mall complex is a unique structure in itself; but even more interesting are the facilities located on its territory, for example, an aquarium and an underwater zoo. Here you can see sharks, rays, and rare deep-sea fish. The aquarium is built around a tunnel to make it convenient for visitors to observe the behavior of animals. Those who wish are given the opportunity to dive into the aquatic kingdom and swim with sharks. And very close by, in the zoo, penguins and seals live.
It's a beautiful place. It is very crowded, especially during the velvet season. Entrance for one person if you need to walk under the aquarium and take a tour for about 2000 + Russian money per person. But it is worth noting that the aquarium is huge with 10 million liters of water and three floors, there are huge windows on the third floor, where you can also see marine life.
A wonderful place to visit with children.A large number of underwater inhabitants in various aquariums will leave an unforgettable impression. You can get to the moment when the whole underwater gang is being fed by divers.A lot of emotions and new photos are provided to you.
Excellent. You don't even need to buy a ticket to see the aquarium. There is a huge viewing glass on the G floor, on the next floor it is open and from the back side you can look through smaller glasses up close.
The ticket gives you the right to walk close with a huge glass, through a glass tunnel and then get from the 3rd floor inside where there are small aquariums with various species of fish, frogs, jellyfish, turtles and other aquatic life. There are two huge alligators. A bunch of penguins with the opportunity to observe them up close through glass, as well as for a fee to get to know them without glass.
You can also feed sharks and other marine life for a fee.
Friends, I want to tell you about our unforgettable adventure in the Dubai Aquarium! The children and I were amazed by the beauty and diversity of marine life, and especially by the cute penguins.
The aquarium turned out to be just huge, and we spent the whole day there. The children were delighted with sharks, rays and other marine inhabitants. And penguins are just something! They are so funny and funny!
We also took a glass-bottomed boat ride and even went scuba diving to get a closer look at the sharks. It was amazing!
In general, the Dubai Aquarium is an ideal place for a family vacation. We will definitely come back here again to once again plunge into this magical world of marine life!
An interesting aquarium. Somewhat expensive tickets if you buy for the whole family. The variety of underwater animals is impressive. It's especially cool to take a ride on a boat with a transparent bottom.
You can get close to the glass for free if you go up to the 2nd floor via an escalator. Both sharks and rays swim up close.
The rest of the places can be viewed from a distance, but up close only for money.
Visited Dubai Mall shopping center on January 1, 2025. A huge aquarium with 2 levels of water. One side faces the mall, where there is free access. So please go and watch for free. Very cool done. I have not seen such solutions. For money, if you want, go through the tunnel running along the bottom of the aquarium. But there are many places where there is such a tunnel. Including in Russia. It's quite enough to look from the side of the mall. I think. You should definitely visit the Dubai Mall and see the aquarium.
Excellent aquarium in Dubai Mall. There are a lot of fish, there are sharks, rays, very large ones, which impressed me.You can buy a ticket and get very close, you can watch for free at a short distance.I recommend
I admire it every time! The aquarium, huge in its height, makes a strong impression, all the inhabitants are perfectly visible - sharks / rays / fish are different. Previously, the upper part was also visible, where those who bought an entrance ticket could go for feeding, now, unfortunately, the top 1/4 was covered with some kind of advertising screen, the appearance immediately lost its entertainment. But the idea is great!
I was there for the first time, I really liked the scale of the entire aquarium. There are a lot of interesting fish that I saw there. It's a good location, and even for me with a poor knowledge of the local language, I found it without any problems. Come there, I recommend it.
I liked the place. One of the few things I can recommend in the UAE. Well-groomed, diverse. It's interesting to see how the fish are fed. It was interesting for both adults and children.
A very large aquarium. There are many types of fish. There are stingrays, sharks and moray eels. You can look down from the first floor and upstairs from the second. Scuba divers serve, hands are pressed against the body, probably for safety from sharks that are larger than a person.
I will explain why 4 *, and not 5, in the course of the text.
I bought tickets in advance online on the aquarium's VIP website (these are: a pass without a queue, one interactive with an animal included in the price, boating with a glass bottom and feeding fish). Thus, at the checkout we chose - interactive with penguins and we had access to all corners of the aquarium on all floors.
What I liked: many species of fish, corals, a huge crocodile, swimming penguins behind a glass aquarium.
Well, what didn't you like:
We arrived at the entrance at 15:15, the visit to the penguins was scheduled at 15:30, so the first thing they drove us to them from the very threshold. At first, we sat and waited for the group to gather to the penguins (8-10 people), while we were all dressed in warm jackets, while we took our things to the lockers. Then they launched us into a small room, where we were introduced to the penguins. It is clear that it is completely in English, whoever understood something understood it. It's great that they let me pet the penguins. Well, the most interesting thing is that they were not allowed to take their phones, there was a photographer there. I must say right away - do not hesitate, pose as much as you want and as you want.
Well, why did I take off the star: as soon as we were released from the penguins, a real market began for these photos, the photographer and her assistant traded figures for how much and what we were ready to take. For some reason, they didn't print anything to us, although we asked. Although we agreed on the fact: 300 dirhams and we received absolutely all our photos on a flash drive.
The penguins had a lot of time, there were already less forces left to explore other places of the aquarium, everyone was hungry, so they ran through all the expositions quickly.
A glass-bottomed boat ride - fast, who has not ridden like this - may enjoy it. Feeding fish is also interesting. It is not necessary to buy a VIP ticket, all interactive games with animals can be purchased on the spot at the checkout
There are a lot of people in the aquarium itself. Overall, I liked it. But we didn't have enough emotions, a lot of energy was spent on penguins, the situation with the photos was annoying, so we also went to the aquarium in Abu Dhabi, which I strongly advise everyone to visit them both (if possible, finances and time of course)
The aquarium is large, but not impressive
Crocus in Moscow is no worse
There is a lot of educational material, but everything is in English
We went for a ride on a transparent-bottomed boat over a shark tank
It's a wonderful place. A huge shopping center with a variety of shops, a large aquarium where, if desired, you can feed the fish, of course for a fee. There is a very beautiful waterfall inside the shopping center, and in the evening there are extremely beautiful dancing fountains. The prices certainly bite a little, but it's worth a visit. In general, if there are supermarkets in Dubai where you can buy cheap food, but you need to go to them by metro and bus, since they are located in residential areas, which of course are inferior in their cleanliness to tourist areas. But it is important that you stick a card in the bus when you enter the bus and do not forget to attach it when you get off the bus. Unless, of course, you like very intense heat, then it's better for you to fly there in winter
A good place to go for a walk with your family. A wide variety of aquatic life. You can enjoy both for free (outside the shopping center) and by buying a ticket to visit.
Arriving in the Emirates, the first thing we did was go with our daughter to see the Dubai Aquarium. We wanted to go inside, but after reading the reviews, we realized that we would look outside at the Dubai Mall. We got to the feeding of stingrays, an interesting show! One scuba diver feeds the rays, which just clung to him, and the second scuba diver drives away the sharks with a stick, 5 sharks were fed separately and they circled in another part of the aquarium. It's a pity I can't attach the video. Interestingly, you can visit it, but the aquarium in Sharjah is great, it's different, and the aquarium in Moscow is also cool.
If you've been to the National Oceanarium Abu Dhabi or Sea World Abu Dhabi, then you shouldn't go to the Dubai Aquarium at all! It's not big, the average occupancy is with animals. We paid for VIP tickets (399 dirhams per ticket, which is about 9,000), since they included an excursion to the penguins, they are very cute, but you spend 5 minutes and 30 minutes preparing with the penguins (waiting, video about penguins) as a result, you are photographed with the penguins in two places and then you are sold photos for 200 dirhams for 1 copy in electronic format.
We really liked it. We spent three hours in this place. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. Fish range from small aquarium fish to huge sharks and rays. We went for a ride in a boat with a transparent bottom. We saw penguins, crocodiles, spiders, turtles, and some other small animals. Great place to recommend!
We have never been to such a huge aquarium. There are a lot of different types of fish, penguins, crocodiles. Sharks swim directly overhead.
You can see part of the aquarium for free, it's just located in the Dubai Mall itself.
There is shark feeding on time. You can watch. There is a paid feeding of fish while swimming in a boat
It was a great idea to build a large aquarium in the center of the mall.
We didn't go inside, but we had enough emotions to see all this beauty from the outside.
If there is something to compare, then the comparison will not be in favor of this place. The aquarium itself is an underwater tunnel of 15 meters. The rest are expositions like in a zoo, and not the best. There is little room for animals, a lot of light and noise from people. Bangkok is much better in terms of memories.
My husband said it was better in Moscow. DON'T WASTE MONEY on this place. It's not worth it.
Be sure to take the time to visit this aquarium))) transparent bottom boats and a crocodile are out of competition! It is convenient to buy a shared ticket to visit the Burj Khalifa and the aquarium!
Wasted money. It's not worth it. I've been to many aquariums, I thought this one would surprise me the most. Nothing like that! For such a lot of money, there was nothing interesting except penguins. In rubles, the cheapest ticket per person is about 4,000rubles. The aquarium is small, you won't see anything new there. I don't recommend it. The place is so publicized that they charge so much money for it.
It's just amazing, you get into another world like Ariel and feel like you're in a real underwater kingdom , not only children are delighted, but also adults just jump like little ones, especially when the large-scale beauty fascinates 😍
An amazing, interesting, beautiful place.
There are a lot of people. But, through the huge walls of the aquarium, you can "meditate" and view the inhabitants of the aquarium without even buying an entrance ticket to it.)
I heard that the aquarium in Dubai is the largest in the world, I disagree, in Yekaterinburg, I liked the aquarium more. There are sharks and various fish, you can look right at the pier without buying a ticket, there is a crocodile, birds of prey, penguins in a small room, in general there is nothing special, I was not impressed. The animals seem to be very raw and well-groomed.
A very interesting place where a large number of marine life is collected. It's very interesting to watch them.It is located in the Dubai Mall. You can view it without buying tickets, through glass, both on the first and second floors. Recommend.
A very large aquarium.. There are many types of fish.. Unlike similar places in Russia, where such places are almost covered with thorns at a distance of at least 5 meters, here you can come close to the glass and take beautiful photos.. I think the kids will be very interested...
Like many tourists, we have planned to visit many places in Dubai. One of them was the aquarium located in the Dubai Mall.
Like everything in Dubai, it is very expensive and pretentious. But half of it doesn't work.
It seems to be electronic turnstiles, but they are broken, and one girl accepts tickets. As a result, the queue.
The aquarium begins with a red carpet. There is a crowd of people standing and looking at the fish. It's completely free and very effective. The big wall is transparent, and there is a shark swimming behind it. I'd like to see it too. So, you paid 400 tugriks and you are being led between these people and this wall... To see how the same shark swims, but from the other side. And if you are four together, then this is not 400 tugriks, but 400 Bachinskis already...
Then you walk through the corridors and look at the aquariums. Minimum interactivity, maximum boredom.
Everyone goes and asks each other where the exit is))))
Cool inside:
1. There are penguins at the very top, that's really cool. The aquarium is half filled with water and you can see not only how they stand or wander funny, but also how they dive and swim like your torpedoes.
2. The alligator family. I've seen a lot of big ones, but this daddy is just a champion.
3. Otters are cool on the principle of a dolphin-made aviary....
Bottom line: Dress up nicely and stock up on a compass))
Yandex, what kind of vocabulary do you call profanity, friend?
The aquarium is simply amazing. There are a lot of different fish, sharks and rays. You can go on a guided tour, you can just look at it. There are always a lot of people around him.
The aquarium is like an aquarium, everything can be viewed for free from the first and second floors, as most do, the horse prices at the entrance when buying at the ticket office are 400 dirhams, 200 dirhams on the website. For that kind of money, it's not worth it, two small tunnels + offer an additional services. 90-95% watch for free, and there aren't many people who pay.
Good afternoon, dear guest!!!
In March 2024 we were in the UAE. One day we decided to go to the Dubai Mall. There is an aquarium at the entrance. Taking the opportunity, we decided to visit him. Three adults and a child of eight years old, the cost of tickets cost 27,000 rubles of our Russian ones.
There are many different species of fish in the aquarium, there are penguins, crocodiles, otters, turtles. Interesting design of the zones.
We walked around the aquarium itself probably in about an hour. Overall, it's not bad. But the price, of course, is too high. Because people's standard of living in the Emirates differs from the standard of living in Russia. I'll give you an example, for example, a taxi from our hotel to the shopping center cost 14,000 to drive one way for about an hour.
The tickets that we were given could be exchanged for small compliments, so to speak, the child chose some crunchy balls and lemonade. Let's say a small bonus. There is a toy shop at the exit of the aquarium, where visitors can buy discounted toys, which turn out to be at a fairly reasonable price. We bought a penguin about 40 cm high for 500 rubles, and a small bucket. The toys are good quality. The child wanted to. They took it.
Fish are different. Sea ramp. Sharks. All kinds of colored people. They are small, they swim in flocks. People in scuba gear, there is a dive in the aquarium! Fascinating! I recommend it!
