The museum is mandatory to visit, it is necessary to lay at least 1.5 hours, preferably more
There are internal expositions (2 floors) and also external ones.
To be honest, it is incredibly difficult to hold back tears in a museum, especially when you watch a film about those events (there are two films, order time for viewing). The museum is quite detailed, you can see traces of shelling, documents, and photos of participants.
There are also monuments and plaques on the territory.
The Eastern Redoubt was the last to surrender, a very significant place.

An important place of the Brest Fortress is the Eastern Fort. The museum told in detail in a video about the participants in the defense of the fort, the chronology of events in June 41. The exhibits of those times are presented.

The museum is dedicated to the defense of the Eastern Fort, which became a hotbed of fierce organized resistance in June 1941.
It was here that Hero of the Soviet Union Pyotr Mikhailovich Gavrilov, who is considered the last defender of the Brest fortress, held the defense.
I highly recommend visiting the museum with an excursion or an audio guide.
