The museum is mandatory to visit, it is necessary to lay at least 1.5 hours, preferably more
There are internal expositions (2 floors) and also external ones.
To be honest, it is incredibly difficult to hold back tears in a museum, especially when you watch a film about those events (there are two films, order time for viewing). The museum is quite detailed, you can see traces of shelling, documents, and photos of participants.
There are also monuments and plaques on the territory.
The Eastern Redoubt was the last to surrender, a very significant place.
The museum is dedicated to the defense of the Eastern Fort, which became a hotbed of fierce organized resistance in June 1941.
It was here that Hero of the Soviet Union Pyotr Mikhailovich Gavrilov, who is considered the last defender of the Brest fortress, held the defense.
I highly recommend visiting the museum with an excursion or an audio guide.
A small museum, which is located a little further from the main compositions. There are several closed and several open halls inside. You can watch a movie about Brest and the fort inside. There is a convenient map nearby that allows you to navigate the museum's territory.
Although the museum is small, it is quite heavy (something like in Khatyn), there is also a very small exposition on the street, in the fort itself. The first floor of the fort can be explored
The museum is great, I recommend you definitely take an audio guide. The exposition is not 100% ready yet, but it is already very interesting and promising. The staff is very attentive and friendly. There is a toilet on site. You can take a long walk along the inner moat and galleries. Very cool!
An interesting exposition, it's worth paying and walking. Yes, it's no more than 30 minutes, but the outer wall looks interesting, you can walk inside. The exposition itself is not so interesting inside. You can climb up)
This is the strongest place, a must-visit for all patriots of our country, This place speaks of heroism, patriotism and the rest of the spirit of our Russian people.
During the defense of the Brest fortress, this fort offered the most fierce resistance. In the exposition, you can learn about the fate of the defenders of the eastern fort, see objects of soldiers' everyday life. After visiting the main exhibition, you can walk along the corridor to the outdoor casemates, it is very interesting to walk through them. I advise everyone to visit!
An incredible museum. I felt a chill, I even shed tears when I watched the film presented in the exhibition. I think this is the coolest museum on the territory of the fortress. I advise everyone to wander through the real casemates in order to feel at least a little of what the soldiers experienced. 5 out of 5.
When I was in the fortress, of course, I could not avoid the Eastern Fort, it is located separately from the main monuments, but it needs to be visited. I went into the museum alone (it is fenced and you have to pay for admission separately) wandered through the halls (there are few halls) but the impressions are heavy. Maybe because she's alone, but that doesn't change the point. A film is being shown with the participation of the soldiers of the Eastern Fort. It was hard to be there alone (I already know the whole story and do not need a tour on this issue, everything is available on the Internet) I was cold and at some point I felt the horror of what was happening here. And imagine yourself in the place of those warriors who fought there
it impresses with its exhibits and information stands

In the last hall of the main exposition there is a small documentary with the participation of the surviving heroes of the fort defense, filmed probably in the 70s. That's where we should start. Their simple, uncomplicated stories are creepy, no guide and audio guide can compare. The exposition is small, but very effectively decorated, modern and dignified.
A wonderful museum, it makes a tremendous impression. My son and I walked inside the shaft, outside, and in the museum halls — the impressions were incredible. It seems as if a little more and you will see the defenders of the Brest fortress. The museum is designed to immerse the visitor as deeply as possible into the emotions experienced by Soviet soldiers in the Eastern Fort. It is simply impossible to visit the Fortress and not visit the Eastern Fort.
The museum has been opened recently, I am justly telling the story of the defense of the Eastern Fort. Inside, a projector shows a short film about the defense of the fort and the memories of veterans. In fact, there are 3 expositions: an indoor, an outdoor part of the fort with photographs and an internal gallery. The visit is likely to leave a strong impression, it is quite atmospheric. The approximate viewing time is 90 minutes.
A very interesting and atmospheric place, a good exposition, there is a soundtrack. You can watch (there is a TV in one of the halls of the museum) a film about Major Gavrilov. I recommend a visit.
It's a very atmospheric place. Goosebumps when you look at a photo and you're there, it's just a pain... I recommend everyone to visit.
The memory of the heroes will remain in our hearts.

one of the key places of the Brest fortress that was put in order
A decent exposition!
And most importantly, it was preserved by the fort itself, since the former merchants (tenants) used this historical object absolutely for other purposes... they simply destroyed it.
