Services on Sunday: 8:00, 10:00 in the red church, at 17:00 in this chapel
I really liked the sermon at the service. I really like to mark important points with words. I didn't mark the theses this time, but I remembered the words.
When I came to the church, I had a stone in my heart towards some friends. One situation hurt me very much and I was angry at these people. Although I have repeatedly discussed with the Priests the topic of emotions and the fact that it is normal to be angry. However, it is extremely difficult to be able to experience your emotions so as not to evaluate the actions of others and not start judging.
As soon as I started thinking about the people who offended me, or rather, thinking badly about them. The priest began to talk about the importance of controlling his words.
The story went something like this ;
" Why is it that when we begin to see an alcoholic, there is immediately condemnation and accusations that this is a bad and weak person?
After all, a true Christian will look at this person from the position that he is injured and needs support and help.
- Why do we, when someone does something bad to us, start cursing and talking badly about others? Why don't we bless such people?
Testimony: The Priest told one girl to bless a person, or rather an alcoholic, instead of cursing. There was an incredible change in this man's life, he stopped drinking, started going to church and changing his lifestyle. »
Honestly, this is the first time I've heard about the blessing. I used to hear only about prayer and how important it is to pray for those who hurt us. After all, people hurt because they are injured themselves.
But we can give love and serve another only if we are filled with love ourselves.
What fills yours is what you share with others.
And I was also hooked by the words that if you live a Christian life, then your transformation is always noticeable. If you stand still and nothing changes in your life (or rather, it concerns qualities and attitude towards others), then you are not developing a relationship with God (and this is first of all reading the Bible)
And so the conclusions are:
- it is absolutely important to read the Bible in order to improve your relationship with God and imbue yourself with wisdom.
- to bless and pray for the injured people, in particular those who cause us pain.
And I also want to add about a pure heart, it is important to ask God for a pure heart. For when we have a pure heart, we look at others with purity. If we begin to condemn and see the log in the eyes of others, then it's time to unite and clean our hearts.
Praise be to Pan for such wonderful Priests, through whom the Holy Spirit speaks. Praise Pan for the wisdom in these words and for the opportunity to become better. How cool it is to be imperfect and always strive to fix your joints. After all, there is no limit to perfection, it's cool when there is a place to grow 🥹
