It's a great place. A very unusual landscape around. The boardwalk path is quite long and leads to a small pond. During the passage of the route, it was very easy to breathe and at the end of the journey there was no fatigue at all. Having dared to leave the trail-deck and wander literally 3-7 meters from it, they gathered large handfuls of fairly large cranberries in a few minutes. The only thing that upsets is the slate road to this place. But pleasant impressions from Yelnya will still cover this negative. And I will not refuse to come here for the third time.
The place is magnificent, 2.5 km away you can see all the main attractions of the riding marshes - cranberry bushes, blueberries, blueberries, upper layers of sphagnum, low-growing firs and birches, etc. There is a small beautiful lake at the end of the trail. The wooden flooring is maintained in good condition, but be careful, not all boards are reliable. In the middle of the route there is an excellent gazebo, parking and an observation tower. The gazebo turned out to be very useful and helped to hide from the short-term, but very heavy rain.
A great place to walk, gorgeous nature, you just need to constantly look at your feet, since the trail is made of wooden planks, many of which are already broken, but in itself, although the swamp is a very positive place. I advise you to climb the observation deck, which is located in the middle of the route and also swim in the lake, which is at the very end of the trail
A good ecological trail, taking your time slowly for a couple of hours. There is a large picturesque swamp at the end of the trail. A recreation area with benches. Wooden flooring along the entire route, boots are not needed. There are a lot of cranberries on the roadsides. Admission is free. Traders come to the parking lot, you can buy souvenirs.
Every Belarusian is obliged to visit Yelnya! In fact, it is a unique natural area, the upper marshes. I recommend visiting in autumn, the place is colorful, just the berries can be harvested. If you get a good guide, then an educational tour is guaranteed!
I've been wanting to get here for a long time - I got here! The views are wonderful. The condition of the flooring is deplorable: the boards are jumping, in some places they are missing altogether. But, these are all small things, because we swam in the swamp and recommend it to you!
We arrived in the autumn of 2024 and by this time the flooring had already been repaired. We were on a day off. At the entrance of the eco-trail there were many sellers of various products: honey, cranberries and souvenirs.
A very interesting and unique place. It is definitely worth a visit, there are stops on the way, an observation tower, and it took us 2.5 hours to get there and back at a calm pace. At the beginning of the path there are thickets and a lot of insects, you need to be ready for this, and then there is no one. We really liked it!
An indescribable atmosphere! It's very different from anything you've seen before in our country. You can even walk in white sneakers).Although the floorings themselves, of course, need to be restored in places
A beautiful place, in the beginning it does not seem very well maintained. we walked with a company in extreme heat, so we had to swim at the end of the way in a swamp lake)
unfortunately, the deplorable state of the scaffolding prevented admiring the beauty of the place. If you want to get high, stand still and watch. If you're walking, you always have to look at your feet. if it weren't for this fat minus, it would be 5/5
An interesting place. There is a place to park the car. The parking lot is equipped with toilets. There is also a trail to the path in the marshes, so you can walk in sneakers. There is a tower to look at the area from a height. The most interesting thing begins in the last third of the way. Cons: it is clear that the drought is taking its toll. The riverbed is empty, the river itself is no longer there. The track requires major repairs. In some places they are trying to do it. But in some places you can fail.
A very beautiful place at any time of the year. It is better to go in rubber boots, in cloudy weather, grab a raincoat.
Binoculars will not be superfluous :)
The length of the route along the wooden flooring is 2.5 km in one direction. Approximately in the middle of the route there is a toilet and a rest stop is equipped.
It's a beautiful place, picturesque, I really liked it. We were amazed by the views and beauty. Not much was missing from the route for at least a couple of km.
A beautiful place in Belarus. Definitely worth a visit. Riding swamp. The last 3 km is a dusty primer. Then a kilometer through the forest to the trail. There is a tower with an observation deck.
Cons: There are a lot of people in the season. Driveway - gravel - dust, pits. The parking lot is a field with cow cakes. The flooring is rotten in places. You constantly need to look at your feet, but I would like to look around ...
Advantages: Nature.
A path that is not entirely clear to me). You just walk through the woods or across the field). Beautifully quiet. But we've reached the halfway point). No one got to the end of who I didn 't ask .
Walking along the trail, you need to be careful, because in some places the flooring is leaky and it would be worth replacing. We got into a dry time, so we could not fully enjoy the beauty of Yelnya. I definitely recommend the place to visit, but be sure to plan a route so that you can still capture other attractions of the region
It was interesting. A great place for someone who has not seen the swamps.
Thanks to the European Union. It is a pity that such projects will no longer be in the Republic of Belarus. The government has other priorities and other friends.
Probably, now without financing, the facility will rot and disappear. So hurry up to see :(
Arrange parking for guests, it is in demand, and you can charge 2 conditional rubles for admission to keep it clean. And for sellers, tables with a roof, repair the paths on time and it's fine! One company did it and it seems to be good, but another one serves it and does it clumsily, in some places it is impossible to pass due to broken boards.
Otherwise not bad, trail and trail, pleasant silence
A very beautiful and picturesque place, stock up on repellents, comfortable shoes and go ahead, to our resorts of Belarus!
It's very cool to visit here several times, at different times of the year.
It's a beautiful place, but if you don't have much time, then I don't advise you to drive, for this place you need several hours of clean walking and don't forget some water, mosquito spray)
The views are beautiful, but the trail itself leaves much to be desired, the flooring is being repaired very poorly, people in our group fell through, fortunately their legs were not broken. But I still advise you, it's beautiful)
The local authorities do not particularly appreciate the fact that people come to this place. the road and parking could be put in order. because, the place is unique.
It's a wonderful place. unfortunately, we arrived in July and the swamp was a little dry, but we still enjoyed the wonderful bolt. We saw a grass snake and lizards, and a beautiful lake awaits us at the end
It's a beautiful place. it is better to have rubber boots with you just in case. There is a rustic toilet at the entrance to the trail, as well as a place for a campfire and tents. there are billboards with information about the nature of the environment. there are beehives on the way to the trail in the forest, it is better to put the cars a little further away.
A very pleasant place to walk. Especially in spring or autumn. Be sure to take rubber boots! There is a parking place along the trail, but it is very so-so :))
We were with the children at the end of July. The round trip along the trail took about 3 hours - with numerous stops in the photo, to sit, examine, wet your feet and trample the swamp. If you just walk at a regular pace without stopping, I think it will take about an hour and a half.
Very beautiful. The air is extraordinary. Very clean and fresh with a slight hint of herbs and something sweet. First, the trail goes through the undergrowth, then a swampy landscape - moss, heather, stunted birch trees, swamp hummocks and areas covered with water. At the end of the trail there is a small "lake" and a wooden platform with a railing. You can dip your feet in brown peat water. Or you can walk carefully with bare feet through the swamp.
The cranberries were still green when I arrived. We saw a lot of dewdrops - it turned out they were very small and did not rise much above the moss.
The children were tired of walking, but they also really liked it.
We saw a lot of lizards, dragonflies, and grass snakes. There are a lot of gadflies at the beginning of the trail, and they strive to bite, after passing through the undergrowth it seems that the insects disappear altogether. There were no mosquitoes.
For the first time in the swamp, it was interesting to walk
We were around lunch on a weekday, there weren't many people
There were a lot of lizards at the beginning of the journey, and so the insects did not bother.
In the middle of the way there is a beautiful bridge, at the end you will reach the lake.
We really wanted to ride a swamp walker, we found it on the Internet, there used to be such a service - now there is no ((
The road to the ecotrope is not the best, but you can get there when you get lost - you asked the locals
Very atmospheric ecotrope, allows you to look at the swamp in light mode.
There are a whole car full of impressions and photos! :) I recommend definitely visiting those who have not been there yet.
After the rains, you need to take rubber boots.
Everything is fine with the path itself, the main thing is to look at your feet and not step on nails. There is not enough at least something where you can buy tea, water, the same lingonberry pies... At least on weekends, when there are really a lot of people there
