They tried to cheat when checking in. They took me to a nearby "hotel" and said here is your ROOM. A room with a shared kitchen, a hall, a shower and three extremely tired-looking rooms, there was a feeling that the staff lived in them. They said they would relocate, maybe tomorrow and tried to leave quickly. We were relocated only when we were told that we would call the booking office. Before that, they wanted to buy off with cold juice). We were taken to the family room, and five minutes later we were escorted to the third room where we were left.
No one has called us in a couple of days or tried to contact us at all, so it was done on purpose. They apologized very conditionally, not sincerely, they said that there were no available rooms - it turned out to be at least two.
The next day, the situation with other tourists was repeated.
The room is dirty, there were crumbs from chips on the bed, dirty mattresses, the refrigerator does not work, the Internet does not work, the shower is rusty, the water barely drains, there is a huge cluster of buses outside the window, noise from them since early morning, and exhaust fumes in the air. Locals hang out in the evenings. Terrible towels with stains.
The sockets are old, it's scary to touch anything. They only give soap in the room, we never saw any gels or shampoo.
Breakfast is mediocre, except to throw something into yourself and go far away from this place. Water for an additional fee. The room is not cleaned.
We took a balloon tour, it takes about 10 minutes to get to them. As a result, 3-4 balloons took off before dawn, we took off 5 minutes after, although the administrator assured us that we would definitely fly before.
Before paying for the tour, they called everyone for a very long time (40 minutes), they already offered another tour that we did not need. In the end, they found the balls more expensive (they really went up in price in a couple of months) but it's still unpleasant.
The staff is not attentive, they perform their duties poorly. The administrator is almost never in place.
On the second morning, we had a scheduled departure at 7:20-7:30, we wanted to go to breakfast, but at 7:05 it was not there, all the food containers were on the floor, no one was even going to take anything out.
We took our things from the room, left the key and left, the receptionist is not there again.
The advantages of this hotel: if you're lucky, a view of the Nile, if not, a dumpster.
