We have been in Tunisia for a long time. We chose this hotel based on reviews. Of course, this is not the 5 declared stars. But a good solid 4. From the very beginning of the settlement, tricky moves began, the room was immediately given with a view of the roof, some kind of nondescript. You go down to the reception again, you give 20 dollars and a room with a sea view, a beautiful setting is yours. The sea is very close to 250 meters. The beach is a white sand . The sea is turquoise and clear. I was in May and there were no jellyfish. A good buffet , especially evening desserts . But you need to lure the waiter and then you will always have a table waiting for you, a rose and a bottle of wine on the table. There is a good swimming pool and sun beds on the territory. A mini golf course and lots of date palms. Alcohol if only the wine is pink . Everything else is slightly diluted swill . There were few Russians in this hotel. Mostly Germans and Poles . The animation is about nothing .

In general, everything is not bad, the room is ordinary, clean, cleaned for 2 dinars normally)), local alcohol, good gin. The territory is large, there are many nuances, but we were not bothered. Tennis courts-children from all over Sousse come to practice, there are golf courses next to the hotel. The sea is 10 minutes away from the territory, the entrance is excellent, the sand is the best beach on the coast (we walked far in both directions), it is clean and after the storm there is the least algae on El Muradi beach. For 2 dinars, the waiter brought drinks to the beach. We were in October, the outdoor pools are cold, there is an indoor heated pool and a Jacuzzi. The food is not chic, but I liked it. There was a white/red fish, shrimp was cooked a couple of times. There is enough food, you will not stay hungry, the beef is amazing. The waiters in the restaurant bring drinks upon request. Daily entertainment programs at the hotel-local dances, artists, karaoke, discos-nothing special, but it was not boring. There is a night club at the entrance to the hotel, it is open after 10.00, if you do not have enough evening animation, you can continue. Girls, if you want to get acquainted, then you are here)) For hotel guests, admission and drinks are free, for others it is already for an additional fee. For those who do not find fault with the details, I recommend the hotel, gourmets and aesthetes are clearly not here. Have a good rest!

We rested at this hotel from 10.10 to 20.10.23. We arrived early in the morning, met well, sent for breakfast. We knew that the check-in was at 14.00, so we had breakfast, changed clothes and went to the beach. The beach is not far away, the territory is large, green. The beach is clean, the sand is white, the sea is clean, comfortable. We rested, bathed, had lunch, after lunch we settled on the 3rd floor. The room is clean, large. Towels were changed every day, bed linen every three days. The food is good, varied, drinks are different. Ice cream is delicious every day. Animation - maybe it's better in the season, but the boys tried.
Very lucky with the weather, the sea is calm, beautiful. We were satisfied with the rest. We went on two excursions, took a trip to the Sahara and Carthage.

Old, Soviet, broken furniture is the edge... We read that two years ago repairs were made in this hotel, but apparently not in our building, while we were resting, repairs were underway in the main building and opposite the pool on the first floors. A day later, my sister's fiance arrived, who was settled alone in a room with three beds, we exchanged with him. He is very principled about everything and therefore constantly swore with the staff about non-working equipment, about bad coffee, that there are no natural juices at all in the hotel, only powdered drinks like yuppie. We were vacationing with a large family, there were 8 of us, every time in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner we asked the waiters to combine tables for us, because they only had tables for three people, the first days they paid dinars, but the tables were not always collected for us, we had to sit at the very end of the hall, for dirty The table was cleaned when we were there. The food is quite varied, but more spicy and spicy, every time the chefs had to ask if it was spicy or not. With a 3-year-old child, it was very difficult to choose a more bland meal, because the child is allergic. Desserts are a separate topic, they are great. We didn't have time to try everything, you can't get far on desserts alone. From fruits: prunes, peaches, apricots, grapes, watermelons are not ripe. My sister's fiance always asked the staff to repair the refrigerator for us, but during the whole vacation it was never repaired. We took water from the free bar, 1 bottle each, food from the restaurant can not be taken out, but because we have two children, we took croissants and yoghurts in napkins. By the way, there is no ice cream in the hotel, as well as no juices either. It's some kind of ice with syrup, I just caught a lemon sherbet once and that's it. The restaurant has some kind of powdered ice cream in bright colors, which makes your teeth and tongue red. Did you know that Tunisia used to be a French colony, and because of this it has the secrets of making gorgeous desserts and French pastries, I don't have a sweet tooth at all, but, oh la la and full of charm desserts at the hotel.
The hotel itself is good, I think 15 years ago it was the height of chic. It was built in the oriental style. Marble, typical stained glass windows, scale - everything is on top, but in 15 years, of course, it has worn out. The ball room is huge and has a separate bathroom, which I met for the first time at the hotel.
The food is varied, the territory is huge, the staff is very courteous, not equal to the greedy Turks.
For me, there was only one minus and not in the hotel, but in Tunisia as a whole, minus two hours from Moscow and for two weeks my daughter got up around 5 am (7 Moscow time)

Russian is difficult to understand, English is better, Arabic and French are fluent. The staff is friendly, but up to certain limits, rudeness is ignored, alcoholism and cattle are also ignored. They pour it to normal people, but they don't give them enough to get drunk. Pelas vacationed in El Muradi in August 2019. 4 adults. We were settled almost immediately upon arrival. One room was a double room, the other had three beds. This room was very cramped. The windows of both rooms faced the wall of the neighboring hotel. We immediately asked for our rooms to be replaced. At the reception, we paid Salim (I think that was his name. A tall, gray-haired Tunisian, who speaks Russian very well.) He gladly took the money, said that we would come tomorrow at 14.00. but the next day at this time he was not there. He appeared in the late afternoon, told us that there are no available rooms, such as we want, now and asked us to come back tomorrow. In general, we never got our numbers changed and we didn't see our dollars anymore. So be smarter and don't pay anyone in advance. Further: immediately upon arrival, our suitcases were taken from us and they said that they would deliver them to our rooms (we arrived at the hotel at 14.00), but at 20.00 we were forced, without waiting for our luggage, to look for it ourselves. We found the suitcases in the luggage room. As it turned out, they just forgot about us. The first impression was immediately spoiled, but we did not give up)))
Now about nutrition. In principle, you will not stay hungry. For lunch and dinner, there are always several types of meat and something from fish. Two types of soup (usually mashed).There is always pizza, French fries and salads on the beach, as well as crabs for 4 days out of 8 days, but although they are not small, there is not much to eat in them. That's why we only ate them on the first day. I didn't want to anymore. The fruits were watermelons, melons, peaches, grapes and plums. But I especially want to tell you about breakfast. If you come to the discovery itself , then there is practically nothing to eat . There is not even cheese. Only yoghurts and salads. Later, the kitchen begins to come to life and at least some assortment appears. The eternal queues for pancakes are terrifying. They are baked extremely slowly right in the hall on an 8-seater pancake maker. So there is only enough for 2-3 people. You can stand in this queue for an hour or more. So we only ate pancakes once, because no one wanted to waste their rest on these stupid queues. The situation was slightly better with donuts. There was also a queue, but it moved faster)).
The drinks were varied. There is only beer and wine on the beach. Strong in the pool bars and in the hotel lobby. Many people have tried everything that is not bad enough. Many of our compatriots lived near these bars. They got drunk and, to be honest, they were ashamed of them. They climbed to hug the service staff, and they, in turn, did not know how to get rid of such increased attention.
Cleaning the rooms and changing towels was daily, but more for the sake of appearances. In the toilet, the walls were stained with faeces (visible from previous vacationers), but no one noticed and did not clean it. There was no special cleanliness, but we only slept in the rooms, so it was not very important. By the way, our rooms, as we were told, have just been renovated, but apparently they just cosmetically fixed the walls and that's it. The plumbing is in terrible condition. The shower was constantly falling, the toilet flush was not working and in one of the rooms the sink was clogged and the water stood for hours. But despite our requests to take action, nothing was fixed before our departure.
Beach. Everything was good here. The sand is white, sun beds could always be found, although we needed 4 problems we did not have. The sea is wonderful and warm, but every day is different. The purest, then with algae in the water, then with algae on the bottom. There have always been waves. In the morning it was smaller, then it intensified and by the evening it was quite large. In principle, we liked everything. The only trouble is the jellyfish. Each of us has been burned at least once. Unpleasant sensations. Something between a stinging wound and an acid burn. It hurts, but it's bearable. Although one woman had all her hands slashed. And then she went around with these terrible burns for a week.
The maintenance staff. I have already written about the reception, there are solid disadvantages. Of course, they respond politely, smile, but there is no help from them. Only the currency exchange office has a clear order. Otherwise, I can't say anything good. The waiters in the restaurants are all great. Smiling, courteous. They remember everyone quickly and always try to help find a place at the table. And if you give them a little encouragement for 1-2 Dinars, then they try even better. It's the same on the evening shows. If you give the waiter money, he will bring you drinks outside whatever you order. And no queues at the bar)))
Entertainment. The animation team is certainly trying, but not much. All evening entertainment programs have already been completed. It's been the same for decades. Mis and Mr. Hotel, fire show, etc. nothing new.... I would especially like to mention the animator's girlfriend
He is completely emotionless, moves like a robot, conducts children's animation and does not even smile at anyone. It feels like she's been so sick of everything and she hasn't been holding on to her job for a long time.
And in addition, I would like to tell you about the day of departure. The check-out takes place at 12.00, that is, at this time we have to vacate the room. Knowing this, we got up early to have time to swim and enjoy the warm sun. We returned to the room at 10.00 and were unpleasantly surprised. All the beds were assembled, the bed linen had already been removed, the room was a mess and the towels were also taken away. I had to look for a cleaner to dry off after a shower. After quickly washing and packing, we closed our suitcases and at 11.30 a Tunisian cleaning woman came to us and said: "Tunis bye bye" smiling and pointing to the door. The hospitality is above average)))
So the hotel as a whole pulls in a three, there is not even a smell of a four. And I can't even believe that he was a top five back in June. We don't set foot in it anymore and we won't recommend it to anyone.

We rested in the fall of 2019, there are no towels (they are simply not enough for everyone), there are not enough tables and they are constantly dirty (there are not enough staff, breakfast, lunch and dinner in two batches due to lack of places), the rooms are all old (they did not want to clean the rooms even for money), drinks are also a problem I do not recommend going to this hotel at all (I am very sorry for the money thrown away and the ruined vacation).

The hotel is very "tired". Well, it doesn't pull at 5 * in any way. The food is monotonous, the only plus is the proximity to the sea.

A nice but old hotel. The furniture is old, but it doesn't bother. Take room 915, the sea view is super!
