I booked a car on localrent and this company turned out to be my landlord. There were 6 of us and a 7-seater car was needed for a large family, I took it at the bottom of the market because we planned to move a little. In general, the car was issued better and newer than it was booked, it was clearly issued at the airport, clean and serviceable, we took a video of the condition and returned it 10 days later at the airport. We ran out of baht and couldn't refuel, the guys calmly deducted the cost of refueling from my deposit and returned the rest. I left the deposit in rubles on the card, which is convenient, you do not spend dollars and do not get baht for departure, which may remain superfluous. By the way, it is more profitable to book directly than through a localrent

The most expensive car wash in Phuket for already washed cars, who wants - contact Elephant rent.
No documents were issued during the lease, no insurance, no lease agreement, the answer to all questions is the same - "if anything, call me."
The golden rule is confirmed once again - do not mess with Russian business in Tae.

January 2023 - we took a car in Patong, the entire Internet was shoveled, because there are no foreign bank cards, the last few days, I don't want to leave baht for a deposit, I also want to leave my passport taboo on any trips. As a result, we found yaris for 1300 and delivery to Patong is 500, return delivery is also 500. Give it away with a full tank and a sink for another 300 baht. They took it for 2 days. As a result, they brought a Mazda 2, good condition, fresh and frisky with small bumps. The deposit was sent to the Savings Bank card in rubles -12000.
We took the car strictly by video, we filmed it and the dude who brought the car. Everything was delivered at the designated time. We gave the insurance, you definitely need to get acquainted with it - it says that the deposit is not refundable!
They were also given at the agreed time, the person was in touch.
They also gave it on video, the receptionist had questions about some scratches on the video that his colleague shot. But we showed our video. The deposit was returned to the card after a couple of hours.
In general, we are happy, we had a great ride.
Of course, the traffic is chaotic from Bikes, cars, and pedestrians. You must always be as switched on as possible when driving. Parking is also not very convenient in tourist places for cars, for example, our hotel does not have one, they put it in a 10-minute walk.

The conditions are loyal, within reason, if you drive carefully and take care of the car, then everything will be fine. The service is amazing. Manager Evgeny was always in touch, advised on any issue, both on cars and on Phuket as a whole. I took it for 3 days. The deposit was refunded. I have already recommended it to my friends and acquaintances who will go on vacation to Phuket in mid-December. When you take a car, take a picture and take a video of all the dents, scratches, scuffs, tires and rims, windshield, interior. I'll go back to Thailand, I'll rent from Elephant.

THE DEPOSIT IS NOT REFUNDABLE!!! 100%. I took the car for a month, three days later there was a strong creaking in the suspension, they came and took the car, returned it a day later, at the end of the lease, refused to refund the money, referring to some broken part under the bottom!?! They demanded to pay 25 thousand, as the conversation about the police came up, they remembered about insurance), but the deposit was still not returned. I do not recommend this organization to anyone, but if you still decide to take a car, then say goodbye to your money.

We rented a Honda Civic for 2 weeks in March 2022. There were no complaints about the car. The interior is clean, technically everything is OK, small defects in the body that were before us were recorded during transmission on video. During the rental, there was a small emergency - a Thai woman on a bike drove into our car, who, moreover, did not understand English well. Here we were glad that we rented aato from a Russian-speaking manager. We called him, sent a photo of the damage, handed over the Thai's phone, from the rental office we already called her ourselves, figured out the situation in Thai. The Thai woman gave us the money for the scratch, how much they appreciated it there, and that's it. Pretty fast. Thanks to Elefantrental that we did not have to delve into the intricacies of the insurance business in Thailand. When handing over the car, we gave the money received from the Thai, the deposit ($ 200) was returned to us in full.

I'm not getting my deposit back either!
I took a car for a week. We found a scratch on the wheel disc on a Toyota Avis. They were forced to rent a car again to assess the damage from a disc scratch! For at least 3 days. They just don't respond to messages right now...the deposit is 12000 rubles, is a scratch on the disk worth that much? The feeling that they earn money on non-repayment of collateral for far-fetched reasons.

I used the guys' car rental services in June 2019. I rented a 2018 Toyota Yaris. I liked everything very much - a clean, well-groomed car, almost new (30 thousand mileage). It is very convenient that there is a delivery service on the island and you can park your car at the airport. They accept payment by any means, including by card. The deposit is small, they took only 10,000 rubles from me, which were immediately returned after the end of the lease.
