We lived in November 2024.
And if we come again, we'll stay here. The price/quality/location ratio is excellent. We were looking for within walking distance from old Tbilisi. Maybe there is no picturesque view from the window, but walking distance to everything in the center is from 5 to 15 minutes at a calm pace. Please note the slight rise (if you go to the hotel).
There are only double beds in the rooms.
The breakfasts are not extensive, but more than sufficient.
I lived in this hotel from 02.04.24 to 06.04.24. I arrived at the hotel late in the evening and at first I was very confused by the location - it seemed that I was brought to some distance and wilderness (some old houses nearby, a narrow street), but the next day I appreciated all the charm! The hotel is located almost in the very center of old Tbilisi. The hotel is located on a hill. When you leave it and turn right, after 1-2 minutes of a steep descent along the cobblestones you find yourself on the Kura embankment with a magnificent view; after 5-7 minutes you are already in the heart of old Tbilisi. A huge number of cafes and shops. There is even a Spar where you can buy everything you need. If you cross the road and climb the steps to the bridge, you get to the beautiful Europa Square, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of towering churches, castles, a cable car and the famous statue of the Mother of Georgia. Entrance to the funicular (costs very cheap) It is also located right there and I highly recommend a ride upstairs. A magnificent view of the whole city opens from above! This is about the location of the hotel, and now about the hotel itself. The hotel is small, one-storey. There are 1 or 2 rooms with a French balcony, as the front side of the building rises above the ground. If I came as a family, I would definitely take that room. I lived on the entrance side and it was a low ground floor. The windows overlooked the sidewalk and the road, but it wasn't particularly crowded or noisy, so it didn't bother me. The rooms are all new and spacious. Good repair and furniture. The bed is huge, the mattress is very comfortable; the bed linen, towels and bathrobe are snow-white. There are slippers too. Bath accessories in the bathtub are added as needed. TV, refrigerator, safe, air conditioning - everything is new and worked properly. Breakfast is continental. Everything is very satisfying and delicious. The staff is pleasant and friendly. We fulfilled all wishes and requests. Special thanks to Maria's manager. A very nice girl, speaks perfect Russian and helped me solve all my questions - whether it was an iron in the room or recommendations for a taxi / money exchange / route, etc. Even with washing clothes, the issue was resolved! What I lacked in this hotel was more light in the room and a heated towel rail in the bathtub, but this is not so important. Overall, I really liked the hotel and I can safely recommend it.
I am staying at this hotel for the third time. The location is super, the staff is polite, very cozy, the old town is 5 minutes on foot, few people, quiet place.
