Excellent budget hotel in the historic center of Istanbul. Fatih district. It is a 7-minute walk from Sultanahmet Tram Station. From Chamberlitash - the same amount. Pros: Clean (newly renovated), quiet street, small.
Among the disadvantages: the breakfasts are modest (only omelet or scrambled eggs from 2 eggs, a small snack selection: olives, cheeses, sausage, vegetables).
But in general, in this category (my price point) this is the best place I've been (Istanbul 3 times: 21st, 23rd, January 25th)
I definitely recommend it
Nice hotel, cozy, 700 meters from the center of the old town, there are restaurants in the area, there is a place to sit in the evening. The rooms are cozy, but there are no cupboards, I had 2 hangers that hung over the kettle and glasses (minus that). There are Russian-speaking administrators who will tell you everything and prompt you. One of the less pleasant aspects is the spiral staircase and the lack of an elevator (hand luggage is normal, but luggage is more difficult), although the administration is also ready to help. Standard and continental breakfasts. It's monotonous, but you won't leave hungry. In general, I recommend it, I think I'll come back myself.
I liked the hotel, I was in Istanbul for the first time. I decided to book a room in this hotel, because it was close to the center and to the sea. Indeed, it's 7 minutes to the sea, slowly, you go out onto the gorgeous embankment, where there are almost no people. Sultanahmet Square is 10 minutes away, with slow but steep slides. The room itself was given on the 3rd floor, the room was clean, even with a balcony, the windows faced other hotels, but they were not particularly populated, so it was comfortable to go out on the balcony. I would like to mention a very good bed, soft mattress and pillows, clean bed linen. After walking around Istanbul, just relax on a comfortable bed. There was hot water, you could safely take a shower. Minus, of course, the audibility, the neighbors were very noisy, especially at night they woke up with their return. There was a kettle, cups, tea and coffee in the room, there was also a refrigerator and a TV, a hairdryer. The staff is friendly. Breakfast was included in the price. Delicious olives, fresh bread and cheese. In general, a snack will do. I liked. One admin spoke Russian, the other English.
