A wonderful hotel for its price. The first line. Mostly Europeans are vacationing. There is no need to run early in the morning to take sunbeds on the beach - half of them are always free by 9 am. Food for 4. The variety of sea food is small. There is an outdoor pool and an indoor one. Free sauna and exercise equipment. WiFi is available not only in the lobby, but also in the rooms (reception depends on the load level of the shared network in the rooms). The road is 2.5 hours from Bodrum Airport. 10 minutes from the hotel, an outlet resembling the Belaya Dacha Outlet in Moscow - branded brands and Migros, Hyperglobus level. The sea is cool in the morning and warms up by the middle of the day. The Aegean sea, the water is clear, the bottom is visible for 2m. Sand entrance with small small stones. There is a bus stop to the city of Kusadasi nearby. There are no points of sale for various beach trifles near the hotel, nor pharmacies, because it is located in a rural cottage area.
THERE WILL BE NO DELIGHT
This year, choosing a hotel for two families with children was especially difficult, as the hotels tested over the years began to cost 500+, so we had to look for alternatives. After going through a lot of options, they all stopped at Ephesia (a number of hotels refused to check in Father and son, citing new rules, it is impossible without women) The reviews were generally decent, the price was adequate. If anyone is interested, then in Turkey since 1994, having driven it up and down and the level of hotels is Barut, Baia, etc.
And so:
Placement: everything is standard here, your room is not ready yet, come later, then later, in general, you will definitely be settled before 14:00. There is no point in swearing and demanding, it will not be faster. Towels are given, fed, in general, you can be patient. The only thing is that you will not be understood anywhere without Turkish. For the first time, English did not help from the word at all.
Rooms: An ordinary room, you can live, especially without complaints. The cleaning is weak, mostly the bed will be occupied and towels will be changed. No one will set up a marathon even when checking in.
Food: As we wrote earlier, you will not be hungry, the assortment is certainly meager, there are no queues, you can find something. Do not expect a sea of food and an abundance of fish. Very often, the trays run out and you need to expect the removal of the additive. Of course, drinks are only locally produced, there are no juices in bags, they pour filth from vending machines and then two types. Bottled water, ayran - drink up here. They took nothing from alcohol except beer and wine, I will not comment.
Beach: There are no private beaches in the region, so there is a narrow strip the width of the hotel, three rows of sun beds fit on top of each other, between the pool and the sea there is a clearing where an anthill begins every morning in the form of arranging sun beds and umbrellas as anyone, fortunately their number is huge and there are no problems. If you like shade, I recommend two pine trees, it's just fine under them, but take these places early, after breakfast you will be free in the sun only.
Since the hotel is small, traditional tortillas are baked right next to the beach and surprisingly there are never queues, it's nice.
But what was disgusting and ruined everything that was possible was SMOKING. There are a huge number of Turks in the hotel, then Bulgarians and Romanians, you can't smoke at home, and with the accession to the EU, Turkey has become cheaper and they are coming off to the fullest. A terrible stench envelops you everywhere. on the beach, by the pool, in the restaurant, as everything pulls inside from the open veranda. even at dinner, where the open space is the main one, people smoke everywhere and it doesn't matter to them whether there are children nearby or not. You can't smoke only indoors, there are no restrictions and zones for "nipple lovers" on the street (they don't know about electronic cigarettes there yet)
Do not settle above the second floor, you will wait forever for the elevator, they work terribly.
Bottom line, if you are not particularly whimsical and demanding, then you can come here. But there won't be a WOW effect here for sure.
The website and pictures idealize this hotel too much. I didn't really like it there, everything is straight for a C, there are still a lot of people, the food is average straight. The numbers themselves are approx. The pools are good. The sea is not very dirty and the beach is so-so. For the price that they ask is not worth it!
Terrible hotel. Normal drinks only for money, ice cream for money, freshly squeezed juice for money. Is that all included?? The performances are disgusting. The rooms are shabby. There are new buildings and it's beautiful, but there are no family rooms.
I went to this hotel, as we gathered a large company with friends, and was recommended by a travel agency.
I'll start with a good one. The hotel, as is customary in Turkey, has an all-inclusive catering system. The food is good, there are no complaints here. I liked that for breakfast, lunch and dinner you can go in masks, the food is given out by the staff, i.e. you will not stumble upon food that was breathed on, perhaps sneezed or picked by hotel guests. It is very cool. In my opinion, this should have been introduced a long time ago. You can book a 1-time dinner by the sea in the Italian restaurant of the hotel, you need to approach guest relations. When we were there, Dilara worked. Speaks excellent English.
The number of rooms... Well, not exactly new rooms, do not take rooms with a view of the city, they are called "land wiev" because 99% that you will look at the wall of the hotel, which is located three meters from Ephesus and listen to the sound of murmuring air conditioners all night. If you're lucky, your room will be closer to the sea, where, if you look sideways, you can see nature, the sea, and straight ahead, the same wall. Therefore, take the "sea wiev" and overpay three thousand, but the wall will not spoil your mood. The rooms are on the 1st residential floor, in fact this is the third, refuse, they smell like sewage.
Now about entertainment. There is a team of animators who speak Russian poorly, but English and of course Turkish are good. I've seen archery from entertainment. The program included water aerobics, which, for various reasons, never happened.
There is a children's animator and a game room. I know there is, but I haven't been there myself.
In the evening, concerts and performances are held in a small amphitheater on the street. In Turkish.
The hotel has its own small beach with sun beds, umbrellas, security and a lifeguard. There are almost always waves on the sea, in the morning the sea was calm. This is a windy region. The wind is not strong, but the sea was worried. The beach is sandy. In general, I liked the sea.
There are 2 pools, a small one for children and a bigger one for everyone. It smells like bleach, so we didn't swim there.
There are bars that open at lunchtime with gozleme (Turkish thin tortilla), Turkish pizza, hamburgers and French fries. Everything is fresh and delicious, except burgers.
Efes beer is not bad in my opinion.there are alcoholic cocktails included in the all inclusive, and there are paid ones. The price is about 5 euros.
The hotel has a hammam and sauna, as well as a regular hotel room. The price is three times expensive. But until 5 p.m., you can go there at least every day and get warm for free. We liked it. And for the money, it's better to go to other hammams in the city, with transfers included. (if necessary, I can tell you who to contact).
Beach towels are provided in the hammam.
Please note that the hotel is a 30-minute minibus ride from the center. There is a round trip route #6, it costs 4.5 lira. Say "center" or "marina". You can show the bracelet back and the driver will understand. The main thing is to get off at your hotel, because there is another Ephesus, which is closer to the city. You can be dropped off there. Minibuses run very often in the season.
There is a huge shopping center within a 10-minute walk, there are ATMs, pharmacies, shops, restaurants, anything. I really liked being around.
It is very expensive to book a car, change a room, move a person in, etc. at the hotel. Think about it in advance.
I think I've told you everything. There should be no more surprises :)
If I remember something, I will add :)
Russian Russian is a very good hotel, and the food and rooms, we got a family room in a large building, because we rested with my wife, child and mother, the staff speaks little Russian, but this is understandable, it is more designed for Europeans, mostly people from Germany and the Netherlands rest, 10 percent of Russians, but despite this the attitude is good, we arrived at 10.00 and we were immediately settled, thank you very much to the girls at the reception, they always helped, although they do not know Russian, but I do English, they translated through Google, the bartenders are excellent, Alper and Yusuf the guys are well done and the restaurant staff worked perfectly, everyone is polite and courteous, the food is also very good and varied, there is than to compare, thanks to all the chefs and the chef for the wonderful cuisine. There is a water park for both children and adults and even for kids, the territory is well-groomed and large, animation for 4, but we were at the end of September, it seems to me that the guys were already tired and therefore it is difficult to blame them for something, but they tried, thanks to Vika the animator also helped out with translation and in solving various problems problems for the Slavic brothers. The only thing that I don't understand is that they sell us a tour in the top five and the European people are in the top four, it's a shame that our tour operators deceive their citizens, but God is their judge. And the weather was fine, it was cold for 4 days and it rained for 2 of them, but as they say, do not work. Thanks to everyone who accompanied us on vacation and to the pilots and ANEX and the hotel's handiwork.
