It's great!
It is the largest monument in Turkey. Very interesting and beautiful. Interestingly, it is developing now. There is a beautiful high-speed highway leading to it. In the city of Seljuk, 2 km from Ephesus, you can spend time in excellent hotels and hostels.
It's a little expensive, I wouldn't go here for the money, I just got a ticket for free. It's nice and warm inside, and there's a lot of antiquity, indicating where it was found and what it means. For an amateur. I was pleased with the free ice cream, which is given for a quiz with very simple questions.
Nice little interesting museum. Even if you look at everything slowly, you can do it in 2 hours. The museum has a lot of information about the city of Ephesus and St. John's Basilica.
April is the best time to visit, it is not hot and there is not the abundance of tourists that happens in summer. The place is certainly interesting and recommended to visit.
A stunningly interesting museum.
In fact, it's a museum within a museum. In Ephesus, you can just walk through an open-air museum without a museum.. And here it is on a platter and put together.
A great museum! We visited it on the same day as Ephesus, it perfectly complemented the impressions. The cost is 10€ (tour.350 lira). There is an audio guide (we did not take it, so I will not say more precisely in which languages). A souvenir shop with mini versions of the exhibits. I recommend you to visit on occasion.
Since the region is one of the most important settlement areas of ancient civilizations, it has enough artifacts to feed all the archaeological museums in Turkey. Here, too, the majority of the artifacts are artifacts found during the excavations of Ephesus and Artemis. The details in the works are of a kind that a person's mind cannot comprehend. It is impossible not to feel admiration. The museum is passing Cards.
In general, it is interesting. I recommend it for a visit, it is not very expensive, 150-200 liras. The museum is small, you can walk through it completely in 30 minutes
a very nice and atmospheric archaeological museum. the design is very minimalistic and stylish. The architectural space of the museum is very convenient, you move smoothly from hall to hall. visiting the museum does not take much time, since the museum is small.
