An amazing place with a large number of historical artifacts that immerse you in the history of Adjara and show the life of the people who lived there. Many thanks to Kemal Turmanidze, who supports, develops and presents all this to visitors, as well as to the guides who tell about all this.

Ladies and gentlemen, guests of the city and local people, I definitely recommend visiting this museum!!! Amazing exhibitions, the guide is a Polyglot! The compositions are excellent. A well-spent 40 minutes. The price tag is more than adequate. The overall atmosphere is welcoming. A pretty tour guide, she knows her profession perfectly. In general, it introduces the History of Georgia.

I advise you to visit the ethnographic museum. It belongs to a creative man who devoted his life to the art of woodcarving and the history of Georgia. Many exhibits have been collected. The museum introduces people to everyday life. Thanks a lot to the tour guide. With her love for work, she is a smart, beautiful woman who charges with energy, positivity, and gives knowledge of the history of the people.

The museum is surprisingly informative and welcoming. It is especially pleasant that the guided tour is included in the price. Our guide, Iya, was with us - a very nice, friendly and educated girl. We had a great time, we recommend it to everyone.

I really liked the museum! Both the guide and the museum itself were interesting:) we learned a lot of new things (both names and destinations). At the end of the tour, we got to know the founder of the museum, admired him and his talents firsthand! I wish there were more such interesting, atmospheric, informative and positive places!

It was a very informative and interesting experience for the whole family. The museum features interesting exhibits, as well as friendly staff. The tour was fascinating thanks to the wonderful guide, who told a very interesting and informative story. At the end of the visit, there was an opportunity to purchase souvenirs, which pleased both children and adults. The general atmosphere of the museum is very cozy and friendly, which added to the positive impressions of the visit.

One of the places to visit in Batumi. It will take one hour. Organized with the soul and with the help of a guide, which is included in the ticket price, allows you to get a good impression of the uncomplicated exhibits. You won't regret it.

We have been to the museum twice. It was very interesting both times! There is an opportunity to choose a guide (Russian- or English-speaking). The museum itself contains a variety of exhibits that convey the life of the people very colorfully. Admires that all this was done and collected by 1 person! Who, by the way, also communicates with museum visitors. Very interesting, thoughtful tours of the museum. Excellent service. Perhaps the best museum on the territory of Adjara from those in which we were during the year of residence in Georgia. The most important thing is that everything is done with a soul.

Very atomospheric! I recommend visiting with children, who can be clearly shown what people of various professions are doing. My husband saw an exhibit: a scooter, which he himself made, repaired and rode with pleasure as a child. It was nice to get the autograph of the master on it when buying a souvenir!

I really liked it. It is clear that a person is doing what he loves... A pleasant guide told everything in Russian, a little quickly, but then he walked around and, based on what was said, slowly examined all the small details. The master owner of the museum is a pleasant sociable person, he told me something himself, I asked him for clarification. You can buy souvenirs (with an autograph) and works of your own execution, of which there are a huge number. It is very full of exhibits. It is visually more informative compared to the state institutions of Batumi (I managed to visit most of them and have something to compare them with). I hope the collection of exhibits will increase. I RECOMMEND A MANDATORY VISIT, IT'S WORTH IT!

It is very informative for such a small museum. The tour is free of charge - payment is only for admission. Formation - as you set, 1 time in 30-40 minutes. You can join in the middle, then listen to what you missed with another group

An amazing place is a private museum, but made with such love for his work and for the history of his country - a lot of exhibits are collected on a small territory, the owner, a woodcarver, creates things of unique beauty - I am delighted In just 40 minutes, you will look at the whole of Georgia in miniature and with an interesting story of what, why and why. Be sure to visit - you won't regret it!!!

A very intimate ethnographic museum in Batumi. I managed just half an hour before closing time, but I was very impressed. My guide, a very intelligent, well-mannered and charismatic high school student, told me everything about the way of life of wealthy and poor families, how Georgians ran their farms, showed me some finds that were used in everyday life, made me think about it and struck me with the depth of her knowledge Thank you again very much😇🤗

A wonderful museum. Very sincere and original. One of the few (if not the only) private museums in Georgia. The life of the Adjara region of the 19th and 20th centuries is very interesting and clearly shown. Guided tours in Russian and English, a small souvenir shop. A great option for visiting with children.

A museum is like a museum, in bad weather to walk around it, let's say to tell the time. The entrance is 6 GEL per person, it is better to take a guide, or use the Internet and point a camera at each cuarcode and read the description. The staff is unobtrusive and friendly.

The magnificent first private ethnographic museum. The author has been collecting exhibits all over Georgia since the age of 20. There are rare exhibits. The owner is a master woodcarver. The museum does not have enough funding. Many of the exhibits will need to be restored soon.

An interesting and unusual museum, part of the open-air exposition. We came here in the rain to pass the time. We were given umbrellas, and we had a very fruitful hour and a half. We learned a lot about the history and life of Adjara. All the exhibits in the museum were made by one person, he was also present, showed his work.

Delight!!! I drove without expecting strong emotions, but what I saw shocked me. When I entered the first hall, I was surprised that there were so many people, it was January, and these are exhibits! As if they were alive! Different, characteristic .It's like they're doing their own thing, life is boiling. In another room, I even screamed in surprise that such a realistic exhibit was nearby. And the living girl who came to offer me a tour in Russian, I took for an animated exhibit. The museum has a lot of work and soul invested in it. I wish prosperity and world fame to this unique museum!!!
