The thing is, they had the bottom of the m57 d2 2.5d engine for 221p, it is indicated that the axial play of the crankshaft (nothing else), having clarified the condition of the sleeves, they sent me a video where the rusty sleeves and the rusty cylinder head fitting plane (not a suitable block). Okay, I thought, I needed the block for good purposes (to make a YouTube video about the interchangeability of aluminum engines m57d3, d5 and cast-iron d2, d4), and sell the crankshaft or something else in the best case. They do not bargain in any way, the engine is slag, but there is no bargaining... And, another moment, they say today the engine costs 221p, and tomorrow it will cost 380p, And there is such a pole in working condition, with a guarantee of 200-300 $ (m57 25 6d2 installed on e60, volume 2.5), do not believe it, look at the bumper buy.
As a result, I ordered the bottom of the engine from them, the transport company brought it, immediately what I noticed was aluminum powder in the spilled oil, and when rotating behind the crankshaft, it was clear that the piston of the 6 cylinder did not reach the top of 3mm, it is very clearly visible, visually, in any light. They rotated the crankshaft, that's a fact. Why do they have this engine bottom when it's more profitable to sell the whole thing?? I have suspicions that this engine was returned to them once, as faulty, the cylinder head was sold separately, and the block was rusting quietly. I informed them that I was very unhappy, saying that this was not according to concepts, to which I received an answer, send it back, we will refund the money, no, the first time I paid 30p for delivery, since they are a legal entity, it was cheaper for them to apparently work with a transport company. So, all they provided me with were the contacts of the transport company, like leave a request yourself, arrange everything and send it yourself too. Well okay. In the transport company, they announced to me the cost of 60p. 30+ 60 = 90 is already somehow unpleasant, but out of the blue.
