We stayed in early January. From the good: the views are excellent; bar 19 is very atmospheric and delicious; the beds are on the level.
Of the cons: It does not match the level of Fairmont, now the hotel requires significant renovation. Everything is tired. The spa area was especially disappointing. Half of the whirlpools are not working, towels are torn at the edges, mold. There are also questions about the level of service: either the order was "forgotten"; or there were no basic hygiene items - they offered to call a taxi from the nearest market) somewhat strange for 5 stars.
By location - if by car, it is very convenient. Away from the noise. If not, a taxi is required to the center.
Nice hotel. The interior is very beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, the food is delicious. The illumination of buildings is fascinating. The location of the hotel is very convenient, there are many places that you can visit on foot.
Among the disadvantages - we got a room with plumbing malfunctions (the shower switch was jammed), the lighting in the shower periodically stopped working. After contacting the staff, the handle was repaired, but the lighting remained.
I didn't like that for the right to use the refrigerator, you need to leave a deposit for the minibar ...
Based on the shortcomings, I remove one star.
A wonderful hotel! The views from the windows are mesmerizing! Excellent rooms, excellent food. The staff is very friendly and attentive, all requests were satisfied! We were with the children, the children were given gifts from the hotel!
Modern hotel, good room layout. Comfortable closets, well-thought-out lighting system.
Cons: very small buttons - it is difficult for visually impaired people to read which button opens the curtains and which one turns off the light. There is no sponge or wet cloth for shoes in the room, and no shower cap. The information in the booklets is in English and Azerbaijani. There was no button or sign in the room asking to remove the room. Maybe that's why our room was cleaned in the evenings for two days out of four.
Overall, the hotel leaves a pleasant impression, but the service does not reach five stars.
The hotel positions itself as a premium. Not bad at all. The rooms are very large and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows and automatic curtains. But it does not reach the declared status, but this is my subjective opinion. I was in February, it was cold in the room, they can't solve the problem. But the air conditioning is very strange: the room is cold, and by the middle of the night it gets hot in the room. The average cannot be set. In the bathroom, there are not small tubes of products, but large vials, tightly glued. Cosmetics are expensive, but funny for 5 stars. We could have put small vials. The breakfasts are good, you won't stay hungry, there was even red caviar once in 3 days, but the service in the restaurant is very slow. You can ask for coffee and they will carry it to you for 15 minutes :-) maybe I was so unlucky, because there were decent people. Overall, the impression is pleasant, but the price does not match the quality of my opinion.
A great hotel. We upgraded to a better room for free! Delicious breakfasts. The spa center pleased me. The differences are hydro massage, hot sauna, cool and clean water in the pool. The rooms are clean. The cleaning is excellent. The staff is very friendly. The view from the window is simply gorgeous! Someone wrote about dirty windows. Yes, they were dusty, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the dizzying view of the city! I definitely recommend the hotel.
The place is certainly magical. It feels like Dubai.
I was proposing to my wife here.
All 10+, though the restaurant is 8/10.
By food:
For example, the rolls were not very good, like with mayonnaise, and in general there seemed to be nothing, although this is very strange, because one of the capitals of Caucasian gastronomy.
But what a great paid breakfast they have, about 150-200 manats. It's worth it. I'm attaching a photo.
Gorgeous views, excellent service, cleanliness, comfort and luxury in one look.
Two years later, my wife remembers the chandelier in the Hall.
Definitely worth a visit, but for a full break I advise you to take 2 nights, although the price bites
The hotel is beautiful, the view is mesmerizing, the room has slippers, bathrobes, glasses and even a corkscrew. Comfortable mattresses 👍
On the 5th floor there is a swimming pool, hammam, sauna, Jacuzzi. For breakfast, fresh juices, omelets, vegetables, sliced bread and pastries.
There are no toothbrushes in the room, but there is a razor.
A modern hotel in Baku with the best views of the city and a chic interior. A good varied breakfast, a wonderful SPA pool and Jacuzzi, attentive service and oriental hospitality. I'm shooting the ball only because during strong winds (which is a frequent occurrence in Baku, the Caspian Sea), reinforced concrete structures vibrate strongly on the upper floors and interfere with sleep, so I recommend especially sensitive people to stay below. The building is located a little away from the old town, next to the wonderful Shahid Park and the most beautiful mosque, on the funicular (a separate pleasure!) or on foot to get to the embankment (where the Carpet Museum is, I recommend to visit) or to the center is not difficult.
The view of the city from the room is impressive! Great panorama! Comfortable beds, you sleep like on a cloud!
The room is nice and comfortable. The guys at the reception are cool, took into account all the wishes, helped to choose a great room on the 16th floor with a gorgeous view. Only positive emotions!
A good hotel, very conveniently located. The service is unobtrusive, but good. There is a good buffet with fruits for breakfast. In general, if you want a comfortable hotel, where it is quiet and no one bothers, conveniently located, this one will definitely do.
Really the best hotel in Baku!
Wonderful view of the city with excellent service. The staff is very friendly. I would like to single out the reception staff member Sarvan and his supervisor Tarlan for their prompt and very professional assistance.
In general, the impressions are very positive and the choice of a hotel for the next trip to Baku has already been determined.
A nice hotel, spacious rooms, a swimming pool and excellent breakfasts, but the main thing is the view from the window! Unforgettable)
There is an alley and an observation deck nearby, but it must be taken into account that it is difficult and far to walk to the old town)
The sorceress Kurul works at the breakfast restaurant, thank you so much for the delicious dishes!
The outdoor pool needs renovation.
The rooms are clean, and the entire hotel staff is friendly. The location is gorgeous!
A wonderful hotel with excellent service. Friendly staff, great view from the rooms and the rooms themselves are very comfortable! At breakfast, the very friendly staff will show you everything and tell you about the dishes presented
An excellent hotel with a range of services and an outdoor swimming pool. A club with live music and a saxophone. Friendly service and a beautiful view of the sea from the room.
It's just super! An unforgettable experience. The hotel is beautiful! The rooms are clean, daily cleaning! The staff is friendly! The food is delicious, very good. The prices are reasonable. Convenient location
Good afternoon, the hotel made an impression only with its appearance and the view from the 38th floor where I had a room, otherwise it was very mediocre and worn, the blinds and shade curtains were broken, the wardrobe barely stood and the doors were hanging, the refrigerator worked intermittently and this is only by room, the spa area is very dirty and half the equipment does not work, breakfast was at 4, the staff speaks English very poorly, only people over 40 understand Russian, it is very pretentious, but it is definitely not worth the money spent on a three
A wonderful hotel. The service is not bad. The rooms are a little tired, but very large. In general, it is comfortable and spacious, with good localization in the city center.
I am currently in a hotel.
Everything is excellent! The hotel is really 5 stars. I've been to a lot of places, so the assessment is very likely objective. This hotel is comparable in comfort to the Hyatt Sochi hotel (now it is called the Grand Carat), even the arrangement of the room is similar. There were small flaws in the room when checking in, but they were resolved when contacting the respeshen in an emergency.
The hotel has three restaurants and a cafe.
The breakfast restaurant is a little simpler than in the Hyatt Hotel, but the work of the staff is beyond praise! Hall Manager
Ramin Eyvarov is a true professional in his field! He, like a mountain eagle, covers the entire hall with his gaze, eliminating minor shortcomings and mistakes of the waiters. All the waiters are like butterflies fluttering . They are very kind and helpful, while not intrusive! thank you very much!
Very spacious, clean rooms, despite the view from the window.. 5 points!
A wonderful jazz club on the 3rd floor. However, I was looking for a hookah and found it! Everything is on top, thank you!
If the view from your room is on the high-rise buildings at the back of the hotel, then the value of this stay is lost by half!!! But the wow effect is provided if the view from the room is on the sea or the old town!
The standard room is large, with a comfortable dressing room, a glass partition from the shower to the room, but there is a clouding of the partition with a button. Opening the curtains with a button. The room has a safe, refrigerator, capsule coffee machine, kettle, coffee, tea, 2 bottles of water. Bathrobes, slippers. There is no toothbrush or razor. There are many Russian channels on TV. The Internet is stable even in the elevator.
The hotel has a spa. The pool is 25 meters, water +27, sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi, hydro massage lying in the water on a sunbed massages cool!
The spa is small, if there are few guests, then it is comfortable. There is a spin centrifuge in the locker room. The outdoor spa did not work, it started working in early June.
Breakfast until 11.00 there are freshly squeezed juices, sausages, omelets, fruits, vegetables, tea, coffee, pastries. Everything is very tasty. Excellent work of the waiters, they immediately remove the excess dishes!
On the 19th floor there is a bar where brunches are held, a buffet cost 65 manats / person. The windows offer excellent views of the old town and the sea.
On the 28th floor there is a hall with armchairs and a view of the sea from the tower.
The only beach that works in April is Shikhovo Dostlug, they rent sun beds and umbrellas, sell beer, cook food. We swam on April 30, the water was approximately +25.
Everything in the hotel is fine. Fascinating views of the city (lived on the 27th floor), excellent service staff, a huge selection for breakfast and an unforgettable bar on the 19th floor. There are outdoor pools. In general, with all the beauty of Baku, I just wanted not to go anywhere and stay in this hotel.
The hotel is as Fairmont should be. Everything is sound, American style... breakfasts, rooms, cleanliness, amenities. The bar on the 19th floor is just space!!!! A view of 1 million.
But there was a nuance- a clogged sink. And so everything is fine
It is beautiful both during the day and especially at night: changing lighting options for the tower, near the park with an observation deck - a great view. A mosque with shebeke windows. I recommend it for inspection.
Great hotel! Some Views are worth something, just for the sake of this you can already choose this hotel, they are simply amazing! The hotel is filled with a pleasant aroma. We asked for a higher room, they gave us the 22nd floor. There is a view of the city and the sea . The towers glow beautifully at night. The room is spacious, everything is clean. It is convenient that there are no small bottles in the bathroom, everything is in sufficient quantity of shampoo, soap, conditioner. Great breakfasts, a large selection! There is a swimming pool outside . They asked to extend the room a little, they did not refuse, since the plane was late, thank you very much for that! We will definitely recommend the hotel, and would love to come back here again.
There is no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room.they are brought only on request.
It's hard to figure out how to adjust the light. Finding an outlet by the bed is a separate quest.
Uncomfortable and uncomfortable
A beautifully located hotel. The views from the hotel over the entire bay are very beautiful. The rooms are lovely, large and bright. The staff is attentive. Very good breakfasts. A very large selection.
During the first day in Baku, we changed three hotels, there is something to compare with.
So, the hotel is located in the legendary Towers - the symbol of the city.
The manager kindly accommodated us in impeccable Russian, raised the room level to a suite on the 23rd floor for free. Literally everything is fine in the room. Breakfast (Azerbaijani 33 manats = 1.5 thousand rubles) was ordered in the room, chic. If you go down to the buffet, it will be 2 times more expensive. Sea view - the feeling that you are in Dubai.
The hotel has a swimming pool, the children liked it. We have not tried the spa, but it is also included in the room rate. The jazz club is under reconstruction, but in the lobby they play the piano in the evening.
Underground parking is free, which also pleased us.
Service and attitude are on top.
The location should be studied before choosing a hotel. There is a funicular going down to the old town (a little walk from the hotel), but it works until 20 pm. The alternative is a staircase (according to the pedometer - as on the 18th floor), it is impossible in the heat, but in the evening it is a good workout. Or on the sidewalks for 20-25 minutes. The place suited us.
I definitely recommend it!
I recommend this hotel to everyone, especially the view rooms. We were passing through, stayed for 1 night. Service for 5, with a minus ((( there was no water at the reception when leaving and only one guy quickly ran away and brought us water, not only for us, there were also couples with small children. And so the attitude is super! Breakfast is great. We walked around Baku at night and our hotel is visible from afar! It's all glowing! We will definitely come to this hotel again!!!!
The Fairmont network allowed us to hope for the best.
Of the advantages:
- they speak Russian
- location
Of the minuses:
- the hotel is huge (30 floors) and the staff can't cope with it
- there is no cleaning in the rooms (we have seen a single bed-making in three days)
- the breakfast restaurant does not match the size of the hotel - there is nowhere to sit, the food is of extremely poor taste
- the air in the corridors is stuffy, musty and hot
- the rooms are tired
There would be a nooname hotel, I would put 4, but Fairmont can't behave like that, they take money here in an adult way
Varied cuisine, friendly, courteous staff, clean spacious rooms, a decent spa center, I did not find a fitness room among the minuses, although the stairs from the embankment to the hotel replaced the sport
A very cool hotel with a wonderful view and wonderful staff. Clean and comfortable. Not a bad restaurant and a good lobby. There is also a rooftop pool.
I liked everything very much.
An excellent hotel, very technological, a beautiful view of the whole city, and from the city the plasennye towers are visible from anywhere, both day and night thanks to a wonderful dynamic stand, sometimes a light show turns out.
Not bad. Very good. Live music in the lobby. A pianist who can play "Do you know along the night roads" is very uplifting :) decent rooms. The staff is very helpful. Minus - for some reason the smell of toilet air freshener is all over the hotel. The rooms, thank God, did not smell.
I can't really say anything, the lobby is beautiful, it feels like a new hotel. However, the deluxe room is large, a little empty. A lot of useful space. We moved to another hotel, the same one, only in the center of Baku. This hotel is 4 km from the center. It turned out to be a bit far for us . And so from the outside and inside the hotel is excellent and clean.
A wonderful hotel with the best view of the city.
Good breakfasts and spa.
Of the minuses, in September it was cool in the suite., but I think it's individual.
Skyscrapers are a symbol of modern Baku and Azerbaijan. They have hotels and a business center. They look especially impressive at night with a backlight depicting the flag of Azerbaijan, a man with a flag and then flames.
Very nice hotel! We lived on the 21st floor, overlooking the old town and the sea! My wife and daughter are very happy, and this is the most important thing for me) breakfast is very tasty, with a large selection of dishes!)
The hotel is stunning in its beauty. Excellent and very pleasant staff. The view from the windows is fantastic!
The only downside is that the restaurant where breakfast is served is quite cramped.
Sooooo good there, sooooo ...
The views from the window are just gorgeous!!!
I didn't close the curtains to wake up in the morning with a view of the sea!!!
Perhaps this is the best hotel in my life. The view from the window to the sea is stunning, the pool with panoramic views and the gym are above all praise. I will definitely come back. The whole family is delighted.
