Walking through the Old Town, we stopped at the famous fish restaurant. We ordered lobster, grilled shrimp, seafood pasta - we liked everything. A separate love is mango smoothie! The service is fast, the guys are polite. Tortillas, sauces, and tea were brought as a compliment!

“Fares restaurant in Sharm el Sheikh made a lasting impression on us! We booked a table through the hotel, and at the appointed time they were already waiting for us. From the very beginning, the service was at the highest level — friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere set a great tone for the evening.
We were offered to choose seafood directly from the freshest assortment. We settled on lobster, huge shrimp and mussels, and also took seafood soup. While waiting for the order, they brought us a gift of freshly squeezed juice and a plate of fruit, which was very pleasant.
When seafood was served on steaming stone trays, it was not just a dinner, but a real gastronomic show! Everything turned out to be incredibly tasty, and the waiter helped to expertly butcher the sea creatures.
The total bill for the three was about $100, and it was absolutely justified for the quality and level of service. We will definitely come back again and recommend Fares to anyone who wants to try the best seafood in Sharm el Sheikh!”

Today we were at this restaurant, recommended by the locals as one of the best establishments.What can I say -we are not lying , We are quite fastidious people , we are familiar with the concept of service , but we left in complete delight .We chose chilled shrimp , mussels and squid .As soon as the order was made, salads, sauces, water were immediately brought, and ready-made seafood was brought in 5 minutes.It's sooooo delicious!
The manager came up several times and asked if we all liked it, very pleasant impressions of the place.Tea was served at the end .As a result , the bill came out at 20 euros , the two of us ate too much 😅

The seafood is cooked well. The juice was brought in plastic cups, and water was drunk from bottles.If you sit outside, napkins and steers fly on the floor, this is taking into account the fact that 6 waiters stood next to us and watched us eat.When the bill arrived, cool, we gave 250 dollars, did not argue, just to leave as soon as possible, the check was taken from us.

Hello. We had a private tour of Sharm Al Sheikh with my wife, so we were taken everywhere by two people and accordingly brought to this restaurant. It was presented to us as the best fish restaurant in Sharma and that we will definitely return there again and again!!!))))) To be honest, my personal impression is: well, not really, that would be very. Something like this. I'm not picky about food (I worked in the Navy) and I don't have the WOW effect of this place. Yes, seafood soup is delicious, well, that's all))). I like tortillas more and different sauces for them. My wife is a fish and then, to the question: do you like restora? When we arrived, we sat down and brought the menu, we chose everything and made an order, but we were told that the assorted dishes that we chose were made from frozen seafood. But if you go outside, you can choose everything fresh, only chilled. At the same time, the small sticker of the manufacturer was not removed on the shrimps, it would not have lingered on the cooled raw materials. As a result, they put everything we chose in a bag and sent us to the table, and they said they would give the package to the cook. As a result of 700 gr. the octopus of the finished product turned out to be 300 grams, and the shrimp noticeably decreased in size. As a result, they brought an invoice with 2 digits, it is immediately written in the menu that the tax is not included. But even with a higher figure, the waiter said that it was necessary to add 14%, just the tax.
As a result, if I go again, I will take soup and only what is on the menu with specific prices, and not what is hung.

We recommended the restaurant as the most decent in the area, but I can't agree.
Terrible food. The shrimps are overcooked, very difficult to clean. Squid are rubber, it was impossible to bite and chew, greasy, the batter is disgusting. They don't give sauce to the dish, I had to ask separately. One is very spicy, the other is like with garlic, but the consistency is not clear at all, it was terrible to eat.
They offered to take more mussels with the assorted, but I refused, and judging by the reviews, it's good that I refused.
My husband also ordered seafood soup, which he thought was not bad, and pasta, which is quite tasty.
But as soon as we left the restaurant, my husband got sick to his stomach. We got to the hotel when the bottom broke.
The only positive thing is the price, it is acceptable, we were not deceived and nothing was taken from above, water, tortillas and sauces were free.
By the way, the tortillas are delicious, but no more.

Good afternoon! We visited this restaurant in April 2024. Fares is very actively being moved by the guides, they decided to go and were disappointed. Tuna salad - canned tuna is used, there is no information about this anywhere, mussels are filled with a lot of sauce and it seems that they are not quite fresh. We ordered fresh squid, the chefs managed to spoil them so much that it was impossible to eat, they were cooked in batter in burnt oil. Also, all the fresh fish is lying outside on the ice, but not even covered with anything.
Plus, there is no beer in the restaurant. In a word, I do not recommend it! There are better options.

We were brought to Fares on a sightseeing tour.
Approaching the restaurant, the smell of the river hit my nose🗿 I thought, "Okay, maybe that's the way it should be."
There are crowds of people inside the cafe, fuss, everyone is rushing and screaming. The floors are dirty, I'm not talking about the toilet at all. It was scary to be in it.
Having taken their places, they began to bring us snacks, water, etc.
After a while, the first dish was brought to us - creamy soup with seafood.
There is nothing particularly creamy in it, it was more like a spicy broth with the addition of a small amount of milk.
I ate a little. It's generally fine. On 5/10.
I feel fine.
Next, they brought us an assortment of grilled shrimp, mussels, incomprehensible baked fish, squid in batter and rice.
The shrimps are terribly dry, there is a taste of staleness and a river.
I ate only one, I didn't touch the rest.
3/10 - for the heroic death of the shrimp.
So far, I still feel fine.
Mussels are generally biological weapons of mass destruction in the form of salmonellosis. The mussels had not been cleaned, and algae was sticking out of them. I somehow tried to clean them, but realizing that the mud with algae had fused with the mussel, I simply tore out 80% of everything that was in the poor shell. I ate it. Dry again with a taste of the river.
2/10 - purely for the life of a mussel that fell at the hands of a gifted cook.
Then I felt a little uneasy.
Squid is generally a concentration of crookedness and the presence of some mental genetic abnormality in chefs. Batter, if the sand from the beach mixed with cement can be called that, is the only delicious thing that was in these squid. Being experienced, I took only a bite of this haute cuisine burp and realized that the squid was raw. I.e., they deep-fried the batter, but there was no squid.

I understand that I feel a little sick.
The fish is as dry as everything else. I took a small piece with my hand, purely for testing.

I washed down the whole thing with plenty of water in order to bring down the taste of raw fish mixed with water from the river and sand.
We were a group of 6 people and practically no one ate anything. One woman didn't even try anything at all. Well, one settler from an urban-type settlement greedily ate everything that was there (it was hardly worth it.
After dinner, the group was supposed to go further along the route, but I felt that my stomach did not want to put up with voluntary violence and was about to open up like a volcano.
We had to separate from the group and head to the hotel by taxi.
On the way, my stomach still couldn't stand it, and with the help of simple negotiations with the taxi driver, we stopped at the side of the road in the city center with the aim of a little poblevat.
After watering the bushes, I immediately felt better and we returned to the hotel.
Let's summarize the results:
Dirt, stench, terrible toilet, crowds of people, terrible staff, biologically dangerous food, the opportunity to empty your stomach in the center of Charm. That's all that awaits you if you decide to have dinner at this place.
I'm sure most of the reviews are either twisted or do not reflect reality, because the people who wrote these laudatory reviews saw nothing but perch from the stinky river.
Instead of this dump, it's better to go to the Dananir restaurant, a great place, I advise everyone.

You can only choose soup,salad and drinks from the menu. Fish and shrimp are offered to choose from the showcase and cook immediately. Yes, it is an interesting presentation, but there are no fixed prices for seafood. They also bring in addition to what you ordered - water, snacks, sauces and bread cakes. Despite the fact that this was not in the order. And then all this stuff is added to the bill)))) The amount is very considerable🤦🤦🤦 I definitely do not recommend this restaurant and I will not go there anymore!!!
