I love markets for their atmosphere. You can try everything, bargain, chat. Such people are sincere and homemade products, for every taste and purse. I most often take teas and spices, adjika for gifts. For myself, dried meat, captcha fish, cakes and fruits are on trial.
We had a rest in September 2024, came late, after 18.00. We bought cheese from a fat woman with short hair, right at the entrance. She's almost the only one left. There were no options.
🤷
Everything we bought was disappointing. But we only looked at it at the hotel.
Suluguni cheese = old, smoked sheep cheese = melted to taste. And the rings = withered "tightly".
😡 It's a
pity. The impression of Abkhazia, even a woman = a crook.
A great market with a southern flavor and a variety of goods!Fruits, vegetables, spices, tea, jam, juices, wine, etc.
There are grocery stores and cafes on the territory of the market... Everyone is friendly!
A good market, a large selection, we were told that we had to go in the morning, but we went at 10-11 and always bought at a discount, because the sellers wanted to go home)

Our favorite market for many years, since 2015! When we come to rest in Tsandrypsh and we want something delicious, local, homemade, then we definitely go to this market! There is always a great choice - there is everything you need and even more, everything is fresh, delicious, pleasant prices, sociable and friendly sellers! The only thing I would like is to make a normal parking at the market - for buyers (it often happens that there is nowhere to put the car, especially on the days of the "big market" when it is crowded), and put a toilet (let it be paid, but the main thing is that it should be). We wish you prosperity!❤
Here's Abkhazia for you: prices are like in Moscow-everything is 250 rubles, figs are 200 per kg, the local people are unfriendly, Russia is to blame for everything, they do not want to do anything, they do not pay taxes, ruin...
There is always a choice in the market! Everything is fresh and delicious! I especially liked the brown figs, they are very sweet. And also delicious tea
A large selection of spices, there are fruits, vegetables, berries, cheeses, fish ... not all of them are locally produced, unfortunately ... well, the prices are not much lower than in any kiosk / shop in the village!
I had a vacation in Tsandripsh in July 2023. The assortment is diverse, and the prices are higher than in Adler. In Adler, you could buy pink tomatoes for 130 rubles / kg, and in Tsandripsh for 300 rubles / kg. And, so for many other products. The rest turned out to be more expensive than in Adler.
There are all kinds of spices, sauces, fruits, wine. Somewhere you need to be more careful, since you bought honey declared as the most natural.. it turned out later that it was still not very good. But a very unpleasant moment was when in 2019 they asked the saleswoman what the tkemali color was (they didn't know then, they were in Abkhazia 2 times in total at that time) and in response we were sent to 3 Russian letters in a rather rough form. But this is an isolated case. We will come here again soon!
I really like shopping at the market in Tsandrypsh. Friendly sellers at all points of sale. Very tasty and fresh fruits and vegetables. Delicious suluguni cheese. Lots of spices and tea. Very tasty pastries at the pastry stand, the freshest cakes. There are a lot of souvenirs for vacationing tourists.
If you want natural and delicious products, then you are here. Manufacturers of products that they bring from the mountains trade here. But you will have to wake up early, because the market is open from 5 a.m., and if you oversleep, the most delicious things will be snapped up long before you arrive. Both locals and vacationers rush here for meat, milk, cheeses, sour milk, meat, vegetables, fruits and berries and other goodies. The only drawback is that this market only works three times a week: on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday...
A great market. Walk from the center for 15 minutes, with children if. The main working days are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. But on other days there is everything - fruits, vegetables, cheeses, sausages, herbs, sweets, tea, wine. There is also a hardware store and a grocery store. In short, everything is delicious here!
If you need gifts and souvenirs, come here! The market is open Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Locals say the best day for shopping is Sunday.I saw myself how my mistress walked that day. It is more expensive in the center of the village... In the market, bargain!
The food market is open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
There is something to buy. It is quite tasty and the main thing is its own production of products.
It is very expensive, especially vegetables and fruits, and it is quite dirty. Wine is full of colors and flavors. The finished products are not covered with anything, everything is covered in dust and sellers touch it all with dirty hands, I would not buy it. It's better to go to the store.
What can I say. The market is the market;) it is better to approach first and ask about the price. The prices for the same thing are very different. But you can bargain, the locals, in my opinion, get some kind of pleasure from it.
A small market, but you can find what you were looking for and spices, meat, dairy, fruits. But only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, Sundays and then in the morning, after 11 a.m. we have nothing to do. Prices are like everywhere else, that is, we are from Samara and the prices are the same as ours, cheaper only if you bargain 🤗😅
The opportunity to look the manufacturer in the face and return either with praise or with ... generally choose a new manufacturer. In any case, there are always two sheep on the market... but who has the steeper horns is a matter of philosophy and skill! Have a good rest!
A small Abkhazian market: spices, rags, fruits, vegetables, pickles, jewelry, souvenirs. The prices are normal, the woman with spices in the center of the market poured out decently for free on trial.
A great market. You can always buy everything you need. Wonderful spices, lots of fruits, souvenirs. And the prices are very pleasing. The main thing is to get to the market day: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. I recommend.
On the market in the morning, it seems, on Thursdays (or Tuesdays) and precisely on Sundays, local peasants come with their products. The fruits are expensive, the selection of cheeses is small, all the same mostly. Spices are plentiful, and there are almost no beach and resort goods.
She took off a star for the treachery of several merchants. On market days, the price is higher than on ordinary days, there are sellers who fool around, but there are many honest and decent ones who will advise what is better to choose, focusing on your taste, visit, it's interesting
Tsandripsh is located on the border with Adler. Therefore, it is very convenient for Russians to relax there.Cross the border on foot using a Russian passport. The place is picturesque, on the seashore. The work of transport is well established. The village itself is small and very provincial.Quiet, without crime. It takes 30 minutes to get to Gagra by minibus
.
The price is the same for their own, for visitors more. Why split it up like that? But the locals are very friendly. Overall, the impressions are very good.
