It's a very cozy and kind cinema. Pleasant and friendly staff. The repertoire is diverse, you can watch both commercial and festival films. I recommend this movie theater to everyone.
I couldn't go to the movie with my son at 12.15 today, because they set up a "customs" there. They demand to show documents and prove that I brought my child to the cinema. The elderly are required to have official powers of attorney for their grandchildren. I hope the owners of the cinema will read the review, and they will find cashiers and administrators who trust people and do not work at the loss of the organization. When I was there, they wouldn't let about 15 people in, demanding documents. I just wonder how they themselves will prove that they have seen documents or powers of attorney if people deny that they presented them when buying tickets? Have a good unprofitable job, with such literate employees who advise you to go to another cinema and blame the new owners for everything.
As befits a modern cinema, the entrance is decorated with many advertising posters about new movies. This bright and colorful picture immediately creates an atmosphere of anticipation and joy. However, it is worth taking the first step inside, as you come across a queue — there is only one cashier and this is on a day off.
Standing in line, you can admire the electronic poster with the indication of films and the time of the sessions, but, unfortunately, without specifying the language of the film. For many visitors, this is an important detail that must be specified in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises.
The cost of the session is also unknown until the last moment. The price is announced by the cashier only after the selection of seats. This is not very convenient, especially when the price is above average. By the way, about the cost: you will have to pay for drinks and water almost like for a movie ticket. The prices in the cinema are clearly several times higher than in a regular store, which is a bit upsetting.
The hall is quite cozy, with comfortable chairs. VIP seats with leather chairs attract special attention. Visually, they are no different from the usual ones, except for the material. Perhaps they offer some additional services, such as foot massage, for an additional fee, but this remains a mystery.
As in any cinema, popcorn and drinks are offered here. And, of course, there will definitely be that popcorn lover behind your back who will crunch loudly and interfere with enjoying the movie.
A little criticism: what can be improved
The cinema in Batyr Mall, despite its advantages, clearly needs several improvements. First of all, you need to increase the number of cashiers. Specifying the language of the film and the cost on the poster would also be a useful addition.
As for prices, it is necessary to find a balance between profitability and customer satisfaction. Paying five times more for water than in a regular store is too much. You can consider lowering the prices of drinks and snacks so as not to scare away visitors.
