We spent two years vacationing in Alanya and visited this market for two years. On Tuesdays there is a bazaar with a large selection of fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices, the rest of the time you can buy vegetables, fruits, and other products. And you can eat very tasty in fish restaurants. The fish is much tastier than in the restaurants of the city. If you are in Alanya, do not pass by, and we will definitely return there next year!
The vegetable and seafood market mainly has a pavilion with meat and poultry, sweets, homemade souvenirs and textiles. It works every day, and a large market unfolds on Tuesdays. Seafood and meat can be bought and cooked on site in several cafes. I recommend it to lovers of freshly prepared seafood or meat.
A very decent and good market. You can also buy fruits and vegetables by the sea. In terms of marine life, there is a very huge and diverse selection. And there are also cafes and restaurants where you can cook your chosen fish. Or just come in and have a delicious meal)))
The selection of products is huge. In Turkey, as always, everything is natural and delicious. The only negative this year was that no one wanted to bargain on the market, the Lira fell and all goods rose in price. One of the sellers even took the strawberries back from me as soon as I started bidding with him. It's unusual and unpleasant to see this in Turkey, because they've always been haggling. Apparently, the crisis has hit their pockets very hard.
If you want to eat delicious fresh fish at an affordable price, come here. We had dinner here regularly while we were on vacation in Alanya. We took dorado and sea bass - fresh, delicious, grilled. Prices in September-October 2024: 220 liras fish, salads 100-140 liras. There are several restaurants on site, you can choose the one you like. The place is more for locals, there is no alcohol on the menu.
With the exception of a few exotic fish, the rest of the assortment and prices do NOT benefit from the well-known chain supermarket. But here, on the market, they definitely weigh down (for example, shrimps on their scales are 1050 grams - actually 830). Not everything is given away during cleaning. If it is definitely not clear from the fish (although it turned out to be suspiciously small in total), then the octopus, which was eventually without one tentacle, clearly indicates deception. The smell of the shrimp during cooking did not confirm their freshness in any way, I had to ventilate the kitchen ((((. Maybe it's cheap and honest for my own, but I won't go there anymore and definitely advise avoiding this market.
Coming to Alanya and going to the cafe kade balyk, I thought for a long time that this is a very tasty place. But I happened to get to the fish market, the market is like a market, but the cafe is the first on the right ... to be honest, I have not eaten tastier fish in Turkey. We returned there several times. At the price of November 2024, 480 lira was given for two grilled sea bass and water. In addition, olives and sauces are brought as usual, one of them is spicy and grilled fragrant bread. The service is polite, the food is delivered unexpectedly quickly. If you like fish, do not be lazy to walk to the fish market, you will not regret it.
From my humble observations, Turkey is not famous for its delicious cuisine. Due to the frenzied inflation, food in restaurants here is very expensive, so it's funny to watch tourists who take a place in a restaurant and drink only water. In search of delicious food, I discovered a popular fish market with a small restaurant in Alanya, where the freshest fish is cooked, in which I tried the lion fish for the first time. The most delicious grilled crab is here. The crab is the most delicate, sweet, smeared with adjika, many times tastier than crayfish, shrimp, scallops. The crab has conquered my heart! The Turks are greedy for side dishes, so they have to order fish in large quantities. However, the place is delicious, I advise you to make a mandatory visit
An interesting place with good fish restaurants and fresh seafood and vegetables, I love this place. On Tuesdays there is a large farmers market where you can buy vegetables and fruits a little cheaper
Always fresh fish and seafood, a wide range. There are also fish restaurants where you can have a delicious meal. Fruit and vegetable market on Tuesdays
It was in the summer of 2024, a large selection of fish, which, if desired, will be cooked here. The fish is served with a huge portion of salad, various sauces and an airy tortilla. You can eat on the spot or take it with you, everything will be neatly packed for you. The sellers are very polite, they do everything quickly.
It's a good market, just like in Russia! The prices are excellent, without any extra charges, fruits, olives, sausage are very cheap compared to shops in Turkey. I definitely recommend it to everyone!
We bought shrimp, and they cooked it for us in a cafe nearby. The prices are different. There are farmed ones, they are cheaper, and sea ones (shrimp) are more expensive. They differ in taste. The prices are much lower than at home.
I strongly advise you to go if you like fish and seafood. Everything is fresh, prepared from what is available on the market. The price tag is quite reasonable. They cook from under the knife
A local market, without tourist attractions - and that's why it's beautiful. If you come at the right time, you can take a cool fish. And the best part is the wonderful fruits at a super nice price
Prices are like everywhere else in Turkey now, not cheap. And not at all market-oriented. But you can buy freshly caught fish. And since it's still not cheaper to find, you can sometimes buy something for a change. There are few fish stalls, there are also sausage, cheese, meat and vegetable stalls
Prices are constantly changing, which is typical for the Turkish economy, but at the time of 2023, the price-performance ratio was completely acceptable.
The fish is well cooked here
There is a fairly large variety of fish and seafood, everything can be cleaned on the spot. The prices are high and you need to make sure that you don't slip stale goods. Parking is small, cleanliness is not particularly monitored.
When we arrive in Alanya, we always go to this market for fresh fish and seafood, you can choose and you will be cooked on the spot and served at a local restaurant.
The market itself is great, but some sellers try to cheat and sell damaged goods. You need to be careful about this. There are also very good sellers who will advise and even cook a delicious seafood dinner.
A great market. It is located on the street, under canopies from the sun. I bought what I wanted: prunes and dried apricots. Lots of vegetables and fruits. Recommend.
There were crabs taken from Yesenin long before the pandemic) The crabs were grilled at the market cafe there and packed at the hotel. It was very tasty
Delicious fresh fish, I really liked the crabs. I bought them for 250 lire per kilogram. The shrimps are wonderful, we cooked them ourselves at home and believe me, it turns out incomparably better than in restaurants!
The market is vast, convenient, clean. But the price tag for fish and seafood is cosmic. It's like it's not a maritime country. There's a fruit market on Tuesdays
There is a good market, everything is there. Reasonable prices! We bought Turkish delight here, we found the cheapest in the city! Spices are different, teas. Not bad, but the terrible stench of fish! In general, it is surprising that in such a country there are so few seafood and fish!
It's a great place. We bought fish at the market and they cooked it for us in this restaurant. The hosts are very friendly, the service is excellent, we will come again and we will definitely come! I recommend it!
You can always buy fresh fish and seafood. If desired, the fish can be cleaned and fried very conveniently for a fee. There is a big market on Fridays.
an exceptionally pleasant place.
prices in restaurants are lower than in the mass in Alanya.
there is a meat menu in fish restaurants and there is a wonderful meat restaurant with incredibly low prices.
there is no alcohol or piaa.
on Tuesdays - vegetables \ fruits.
prices are lower by 30-40 percent than in the same place not on Tuesday and by 60-70 percent in other fruit shops in Alanya.
A controversial place.
Pros:
A good fruit and vegetable store in the center of the market opposite the butcher shop. Prices are fixed at the checkout, however, it works until 17 00. They accept cards including UnionPay.
A good grocery/industrial store is next to the right of the butcher shop. Products like in Migrose - prices are lower. the assortment is more interesting and local people buy there. It also accepts UnionPay.
Cons:
The strong smell of fish in the heat - therefore, the desire to taste fresh seafood in local "atmospheric" restaurants did not arise.
Fish and sea products can be taken if you are well versed in them - in freshness and price. Since everything is a matter of bargaining!
Of course, you can choose a fish to taste. But of course it lags behind the Japanese markets))). There are many small cafes nearby where you can cook it.There is a vegetable market nearby.
The market is good, you can just buy all sorts of things, a big vegetable market is going to be on Tuesday. But! Be sure to visit the fish restaurants in the market. That's great!
The assortment is good, a kilogram of watermelon is 10TL, figs cost differently from 50 to 150 TL, cucumbers and tomatoes are 15-20 TL, the only thing is to be careful with packaged fruits, bought figs, and apparently it was overripe or something watermelon, in general poisoned

We went here for fruit and three times to fish restaurants. Fruit prices are much lower than in tents on the street. The fish in the fish restaurants are cooked perfectly, the fish soup is excellent. Of all the fish restaurants on the market, I recommend Moby balik (inside the market), a very friendly restaurant owner, service for 5. Insanely delicious fish and sauces to it. Fish soup is the most delicious in my life. After the main course, I wanted baklava, but it was not on the menu, the owner did not lose his head and got us Turkish sweets in the next tent and poured more tea) We thought to see it in the bill, but it turned out to be absolutely free) Of course, we left a tip. They also serve simply incomparable hot halva! The only drawback is that it is very hot, the fans are large, but they drive hot air. In general, this place is a must-visit! But I liked the first restaurant at the entrance (blue) less on all points.
We were at the Tuesday market, a lot of fruits, everything is ripe, beautiful, the place is certainly colorful, in the Turkish style, noisy, crowded, and so I liked everything.
Excellent selection of fresh fish. You will also be able to cook it there - very high quality and delicious! Fruits, vegetables, and souvenirs can also be purchased at the market.
Super! Always fresh fish from a seller named Vulkan!

An excellent fish market, a large selection of fresh fish and shrimps, prices are normal, you can cook them there, they took shrimps, very tasty. I recommend everyone to visit!
You can buy fresh fish by weight, cook and eat in one place. The most inexpensive place with the freshest fish. How they cook is a matter of taste. I enjoyed it
Everyone who comes to Alanya should visit there.. A fish for every taste and immediately you can cook it for an additional fee. Words cannot express how delicious it is
