A tourist place. Fishing enthusiasts will be bored. The fish are like a barrel, pecking at an empty hook. It takes 10 seconds from the moment of casting to taking the catch off the hook. They do not allow you to catch on your spinning, only if there is a float.
The fish can be fried on the spot, you can take it with you. In general, as an entertainment for children and a delicious lunch, it is a great place.

We were a family in Pitsunda, and we really wanted to go fishing. After reviewing an array of information on the Internet, it was decided to start fishing in Abkhazia with a visit to a trout farm. The village of Hytha was chosen because there is a gorge there that can be viewed. We arrived at about 11 a.m. and, as it turned out, very timely. An employee of the farm offered us to take a fishing rod for 100 and catch fish. We took two. Of course, fishing on a farm can only be called fishing conditionally. The bait (caught on corn) barely had time to sink into the water, the fish just rushed to the hook. We were warned that all the fish we caught would need to be taken away, and we could not let them back out. So we caught 8 pieces in 10 minutes, gave it to fry and went for a walk to the canyon. The walk also costs 100 rubles per person. Why did I say that we arrived on time? By 12 o'clock, a lot of tourists arrived in jeeps, who dismantled all the fishing rods. A significant part of the tourists were waiting for their turn to fish. Forty minutes later we returned from a walk, fried fish was already waiting for us. She was beautiful! I'll tell you about the prices: I told you about renting fishing rods and walking to the canyon - 100 rubles per fishing rod / person. A kilogram of raw trout costs 800 rubles. If you need to be fried, then 1200 rubles. Eight fried trout cost us 3,500 rubles, although I thought it would be more. The fish seemed huge compared to the crucians)). We got there in our car - Lada Vesta. We drove perfectly well, the jeep is not needed there at all. A visit to the trout farm will now be mandatory when traveling to Abkhazia. Well, I really liked it!

We gave it to fry fish in a cafe. They asked how long to wait approximately. We were told that 20 minutes is for sure. They asked which table we would be sitting at. Plates and utensils were brought. We were sitting right in front of their distribution counter. Waiters walked past us, carrying orders to other tables. In 35 minutes!! I already went to them myself to ask if our fish would be ready soon. It turned out that she had been lying on the counter near them for 10 minutes. When I asked why they didn't bring it to us, they replied, "how did we know it was yours? You were told to come get her in 20 minutes." And they didn't even think to apologize.

If we evaluate the fisheries themselves - 5. We paid for a fishing rod, caught a trout, and cooked it. The female chef cooked the fish amazingly, in breaded cornflakes.
The canyon is simply amazing! We walked with the kids 6 and 4, walked almost to the very end. The nature is amazing, it's worth visiting this place!
