Now there is a conditional overhaul and, apparently, it will be very long. The old equipment/buildings are worn out, apparently there is no place to get new ones. Thus, instead of 20 artificial ponds with huge fish, you will have to settle for 2 workers with small fish of 300 grams each. All the rest are dry, some have been destroyed by time. In general, it is worthy of a visit, but only the shadow of a bygone greatness is visible.

The place is not bad, the prices for trout are 150r / 100g (with cooking) about 3 fish / kg, there is no choice in the cafe, only fried trout in a pan on a fire in the grill, vegetables go to the trout (not much) you can additionally order a salad of vegetables, a choice of drinks (5-6 pieces) mainly tea and compotes. While cooking, you can walk (it's interesting, but for 20 minutes). The fish is allowed to be caught juicy and selected. There is not enough variety in the menu, well, at least fry fish on the grill with dill and grilled vegetables, for example, it feels like they have been cooking and cooking here for the last 50 years. I got 1 star for this, but the prices for trout are quite affordable, 250-300 rubles everywhere in the cafe

We were here twice with the children. We ate all kinds of fish, both fried and salted, to the brim. Very tasty trout. Prices are reasonable, everything is at home
without much pathos. Trout have been bred here for 90 years.
A small suggestion is to spend a little money on repairs and beautification of the territory.

The nature is fantastic, the mountain river is clean, the route to the grotto is easy with excellent picnic spots. The trout farm itself is abandoned, the fish are brought from Sukhum and released into the pool. Fish can be caught juicy, 150 rubles per 100 grams, this price includes cooking.

Near the village of Otkhara, on the banks of the Mchyshta River or the Black River, there is a trout farm "Chernorechenskoye".
The river got its name from the large karst cave Mchishta, which was discovered in 1976. The entrance to the cave is located at an altitude of 80 meters above sea level, and a powerful underground stream of water flows from the depths of the cave – the Black River. The length of the river underground is 2,358 meters.
Now the trout farm is under reconstruction, admission is free, and parking is paid.
Inside, the reflection of present—day Abkhazia is ruin and desolation, or better yet, the triumph of nature over civilization.
It was founded in 1934. And the house, on the territory of the farm, once served for the reception of distinguished guests. The Mchyshtinsky cave complex is the largest monastery in Abkhazia of the XII century, originally created as a refuge from pirates. Medieval ascetic monks lived here, and unique cells remained from their life activities.

You can catch trout at 1000 rubles per kg and they will cook it for you there. Delicious, affordable and sooo hospitable. The bonus is the landscapes, all the bushes around are photographed. They brought home-made wine with them, I was driving - I caught the aftertaste at the hotel. I will be there, I will definitely repeat it!

Lovely women cooked fish for us on the grill in a frying pan. 2 fish came out at 1 kg. The price includes sliced vegetables, bread and sauce. It was very tasty.

It's a very beautiful place. The farm was founded 90 years ago. Trout were bred. Now only 2 pools have fish, the rest are overgrown, faulty. After the farm there is a concrete path with steps along the river, not far away. The trail ends with a cliff and a small cave with water. Great view of the river, forest, rock. The ruins of the rocky monastery are visible. It is impossible to approach him, he is right on the rock.
In front of the trail there is a local cafe where they will cook trout, which you will take out of the pool with a net yourself. 1500r kg. Fried in a frying pan, served with vegetables, bread and sauce. The gazebo is right on the riverbank.
Take mosquito repellent!

Although fish is sold and cafes eat with fresh fish. But it seems they are going to restore it. At the same time, a monumental concrete path with railings leads to the place where the rock monastery is best seen. Which is very convenient.

After visiting the Musser reserve with the dachas of the chiefs and having received a lot of positive emotions, we went to this trout farm, where, having failed to enter the territory, we received threats from workers "you can't leave in your car" in a rude form. People coming out shared that everything was abandoned and there was nothing to see. The positive mood was spoiled by the boorish behavior of the staff.

Prices: fishing rod rental 100 rubles. Pick up the caught fish 1500 rubles / kg. The cafe has very, very, very tasty fried trout (525 rubles a piece for 300 grams comes out) and tangerine juice with pulp (300 rubles per liter). Not cloying. Or rather, without sugar, as from sweet tangerines. Refreshing.
They did not take money for the entrance, only for parking 100 rubles.

We came to see the monastery. We saw pictures on the Internet.
It turned out the entrance is through a trout farm.
Parking 100r. , entrance -250 per person, fish -1500 kg. We didn't pay for the entrance. Passed just like that.
Trout farming- there is nothing to see. I didn't feel like eating. But the path along the river is beautiful. And very well fortified. The money for the entrance, apparently, is taken to maintain this trail.
But the most unpleasant thing is that the monastery is so high that at the end of the trail it can only be seen through binoculars.
It is IMPOSSIBLE for a simple person to get there! And no one talks about it)
- follow the path, the monastery is there.
There's no point in coming here. A waste of time. Just looked at another pretty river.
