The territory is not large, but clean. There is a barbecue area for barbecue. The owners of this house are almost invisible, only seen upon arrival and departure. The rooms are small, the shower is combined with a toilet (very high step). It is difficult for people with disabilities to climb. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils. There is no children's zone as such, a swing and slide, a sandbox all overgrown with grass, and the zone itself is all covered in grass. It's a long walk to the sea. The coast is rocky and steep. We were with our grandchildren, we didn't even swim there. We went all the way to Pitsunda, where it was comfortable for children to enter the sea. The weather was great, the sea was warm (arrival time is June)

I highly recommend it!
We stayed for 5 days, we would have known that it would be cool, we would have booked in advance for more time. Clean, cozy, spacious, everything is available for cooking, there is a children's area, a barbecue area. The hosts, Maria and Sergey, are just a super, responsive, friendly family!!! It took 10-15 minutes to get to the sea at a leisurely pace, it didn't bother us, we walked around the neighborhood with pleasure. Near the market, Gagra shopping center.

From August 29 to September 10, 2024. we had a rest in Gagra at the Forelka guest house. We chose this guest house because it was already familiar to us from the rest of 2018. We travel by car, so it is important to have parking, which is what the Trout has. Moreover, since 2018, the territory of the guest house has expanded and become even more convenient and beautiful. This time we had a chance to live in three different rooms: one-room apartments with a kitchen, two-room apartments with a kitchen and an eco-house with a kitchen. All the rooms are wonderful! There is a railway nearby, but trains rarely run and do not interfere with vacationers, but on the contrary bring some romance to the moment. Sitting on the balcony or kitchen of our room and watching a passing train, it seemed to me that we were the heroes of the movie "Train Station for Two". It is very pleasant to have dinner in the evening in the courtyard of the guest house among the palm trees. I remember with pleasure 2018, when we had a wonderful company of vacationers in Trout and we had fun evenings at the barbecue area. The sea is a 15-minute walk from the Trout, the beach is public. We preferred to go to the beach to Pitsunda, where you can hide from the sun in the shade of pine trees. Pitsunda has a wider coastline, so you can stay in an almost deserted place. It takes about 20 minutes by car. But we like to live in Gagra, where in the evenings they sing and dance on the embankment in every cafe. The city itself is also interesting for tourists. The owners of the guest house Forelka - Maria and Sergey will always tell you what to visit in Abkhazia, which cafes and restaurants are better, any issue can be resolved with them. After reading reviews about Trout on tugis, Yandex and Avito, all vacationers wrote about the wonderful hosts. It's true. Maria and Sergey are incredible, very positive, kind and hospitable people. It was a pleasure to communicate with them. They always helped, advised, supported and even treated us.
We rested in a separate house from June 22 to July 1. The house is new, clean, spacious, beautiful, stylish. It is clear that everything is done with a soul. Good beds and mattresses, new bedding, air conditioning, washing machine, stove, extractor hood, refrigerator, hair dryer, a large number of sockets, clothes dryer, a set of necessary towels and just a lot of beautiful interior details 😍✨️The water pressure is good, there were no interruptions. Tap water is not salty, fresh.
Towels and bed linen were changed every five days. It was a pleasure to live in such a house. A large beautiful territory in the yard: a river, ducks, flowers, small palm trees, different vegetation.In the evenings we sat on the terrace and admired the mountains.
You can fry the meat on the grill. The children could always keep themselves busy, playing with other children in the yard. There is also a large house on the territory with comfortable rooms and a shared kitchen, which everyone will definitely be able to afford. The railway does not interfere. Trains rarely run. The last flight is around 22.20. It does not travel at night. We liked to wave at the train with the children.
It takes 15 minutes to get to the sea slowly. On the way there are a lot of cafes, a market, shopping malls, excursions. The sea is clean, warm, sometimes there were strong waves. There is no such sea in Sochi, Adler, or Anapa!!
We went on excursions. The choice of what to visit was great: boat trips, jeeps, concerts, etc. The local people in Abkhazia are kind and hospitable, responsive, with a wonderful sense of humor. Many people scared us and dissuaded us from going. We felt safe and comfortable in this country. It's not worth talking about nature, you need to see it😍😍😍Abkhazia is now forever in our heart ❤

We came to visit at the end of May 2023.
The territory of the guest house is cozy, lots of greenery, there is a Playground, a spacious kitchen, a barbecue area for several companies.
But the atmosphere here is so friendly and inviting that most likely "several companies" will turn into one).
The room was located on the second floor. The room has a toilet and shower, a hairdryer (the travel agency told us that it would not be), air conditioning, TV (there are few channels, but there is no time to watch TV)).
The bed linen is clean, the mattresses are new. Because of the rain, towels did not always have time to dry out, you can change them at any time to dry ones.
The house is located about 500 meters from the market, where you can buy absolutely everything, from souvenirs to summer clothes, from greenery to pickled bamboo. It is better to come early for groceries. It is a very quiet 10 minutes walk to the sea.
Separately about the owners of the house: it is simply impossible not to fall in love with their family!They are nice, polite, absolutely unobtrusive, but they are always available for any question. They will help, tell you, you feel very comfortable!
Maria is always on guard of cleanliness and good mood of the guests, any request was solved instantly, starting with the organization of a transfer from the airport. Sergey is the wizard of the garden and the owner of the trout, who live on the territory, in a fenced-off section of the river. Like most tourists in Abkhazia, we went on various excursions, and wine tasting was always included in the tour. So, at no tasting have we tasted such delicious wine as you can buy from Sergei. It is light, rich, be sure to take it with you when you go for a walk to the sea in the evening!

Beautiful territory and a view from the balcony of the second floor, a modest atmosphere, but clean and has everything you need for a leisurely rest. BUT! The railway is right next to the house and the rattling trains of Soviet times spoil everything, and it's far and inconvenient to go to the sea, even there are no sidewalks! Fortunately, we arrived by car 😏

A very good place to relax with the whole family. There is a Playground on site. The rooms are both ordinary and comfortable, each room has a split system, a TV, and you can also use a washing machine. There is a barbecue on site, 2 kitchens under a canopy. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The guest house is located in novy Gagra, the Continent stop is 10 minutes from the sea, on the way to the central market. Everything is for sale on the market. Yes, in the market you need to look carefully at everything from the products it is better to taste there are cases that you taste one thing, but they give you something else. The locals treat tourists very well. Everything in the guest house is clean and tidy. The hosts are friendly, special thanks to Maria, who is engaged in accommodation in the rooms, she is very friendly and will always tell you. This place is in great demand, rooms need to be booked in advance. I recommend this guest house. My family and I vacationed there 3 times.

I had a rest in mid-October 2023, the room is very clean and tidy, a TV with smart TV, good Wi-Fi, I did not notice any interruptions with water and electricity for 10 days of stay. The territory near the house is clean and well-groomed, there is a small river in which the fish lives. The hosts are very friendly and attentive, they told and showed everything. I was completely satisfied with the accommodation.

We had a family vacation in October 2022, a very cool place. Everything you need to stay is there. The hosts are unobtrusive, very friendly people. Maria is all tenderness and responsiveness. Very beautiful and well-maintained territory of the guest house. The sea is 7-10 minutes away in a straight line, the market is 5 minutes away, shops are also within walking distance. The bed linen is clean from 100% cotton, the mattresses are not sagging. In general, we recommend the guest house "Forelka" for recreation.

We rested in Forelka at the end of April 2022. The room fully corresponds to the photos, cozy, clean and warm (it was relevant at the end of April). We lived in an apartment with a kitchen, the most suitable option for those with children.
The territory is well-groomed, children have somewhere safe to run, a local river flows through the site, the owners breed trout there (yes, it's true), there are a lot of greenery around, everything is neatly done and thought out everywhere. The wife appreciated the kitchen equipment, she didn't even have to ask for anything extra. There is also a shared kitchen and a whole backyard equipped for a playground.
I would like to leave a separate comment about the hosts - Sergey and Maria, who surrounded us with attention and pleasant communication. On the day of the county, we were even presented with homemade wine of our own production. Sergey had to meet us on the day of arrival - Yandex did not bring us exactly. Once the satellite TV in the room went out of order, the power supply was sorted out and changed within 15 minutes. Thank you to Maria for the most prompt communication on WhatsApp at the booking stage and for answering general questions not directly related to accommodation (we were traveling to Abkhazia for the first time). Abkhazia, represented by Sergey and Maria, welcomed us very hospitably!

We had a rest in May 22. Despite the weather, we were very satisfied! A lovely two-room suite with its own kitchen, shower and toilet. All the dishes are new, the linen and towels are clean. There is a wonderful barbecue area and a children's playground. At first we were surprised that there is a railway very close by, but trains pass only 3-4 times a day!!!! It doesn't bother at all! The owners are very responsive, they will help arrange any tour, tell you everything about shops and cafes. By the way, there is a wonderful khinkalnaya nearby, it was tastier in no restaurant, and we went to both Nartaa and Gagripsh. In general, I advise you from the bottom of my heart!

Just a gorgeous guest house!!! We had a rest this year (2021) in a junior suite. There is everything you need! And the prices are reasonable!! New renovation, always hot water without interruptions. Everything is clean and cozy! The room has air conditioning, TV, everything is modern.There are any dishes in the kitchen, stove, refrigerator, microwave. Several kitchens, divided into rooms. There is enough space for everyone and there is no crowd! There is a new great playground. And if this does not seem enough to someone, the lovely hosts will be able to satisfy any capricious guests! ;-)
The only disadvantage that seemed to me on the first day was that the sea was too far, about 2 km on foot, 15 minutes. But then they got used to it and it seemed faster. The road to the sea passed by the market, shops, canteens.

We had a rest this year in a corner of paradise. An incredibly beautiful guest house, everything is thought out to the smallest detail: the courtyard is surrounded by greenery and flowers, a clean river with live trout, fountains, a small waterfall... And if you need to go on an excursion or book a transfer, Maria will help you find the most comfortable, cheapest and safest option! I was there last year. Apart from the luxury rooms, which are well and beautifully furnished, the rest of the rooms are disgusting. Some even lack a toilet. There is a shared toilet and shower, but they also leave much to be desired.

We had a rest last year in this wonderful place. The hospitable hosts, pleasant atmosphere and diverse garden made the evenings very pleasant. I can also attribute to the plus the fact that the owner prepares delicious wine and you can buy it from him for a fee. He also breeds trout in an improvised pond and you can also ask him to cook them. I was making a barbecue in a chic barbecue. In general, everything is at the highest level and if we rest in Abkhazia, we will definitely stay with them again.
