My first vacation in Sharjah. I've been choosing a hotel for a long time. The hotel is comfortable, there is a grocery store in the building. There are a lot of shops nearby. Opposite the shopping center, near the fish market, clothing store, beautiful embankment. The room was given on the 13th floor with a good view. Breakfasts and dinners were included, once they came up and changed for lunch. No problem at all. Towels are given at the pool, they write down a book. There is a Jacuzzi and a sauna (there is a visit by a woman or a man). Children and adults come to the pool to train in the evenings, probably they buy an entrance separately at the hotel. There is an area with sun beds. I cleaned every day, brought everything I needed. The breakfasts are varied, some of the food is Indian. There were only 4 of us for lunch, the dinners were delicious Friday and Saturday seafood. Very tasty juices and coffee from the coffee machine. They always put food on the table and there's enough for everyone. You can pour juice into a bottle and take it with you and take fruit from the basket. We did not have breakfast on the first day and asked for lunch boxes on the day of departure, after talking with the manager, the girl packed two containers for us to have a snack at the airport. Judging by the reviews, the transfer times change at different times. It is necessary to come to the beach and from the beach minus 10. We did not go to the shopping center because the transfer was at 10:30. The view from the windows is certainly awesome. Of course, you can find fault with not very fresh furniture or other small things. The room is a little damp, but what you want is this climate. The window, of course, does not open. For understanding, storing things in a warehouse in which they do not dry out and are not covered with mold will cost from 100k per month. It won't be damp and dark there) and it's like a hotel without opening the windows. In the store on the 1st floor you can buy anything, delicious drinking coconuts for 3 dirhams, juices, ice cream. They take you to Alkhan beach, it's cool and comfortable.
Great place! I like all the staff, of course, it is carefully selected, all workers and masters in their field and very conscientious: the bus driver (takes us to the beach and back) is very careful and pedantic in time, you can check the time according to him, seasoned and well-behaved staff at the reception, the staff of the kitchen and dining room are sensitive and attentive The cleaning staff is excellent, the hotel is very clean! The rooms have new furniture, clean linen, high-quality plumbing, good design and interior! We mostly like breakfasts and dinners, you won't stay hungry! We are grateful to the hotel for the early check-in, we were after a night flight and were on the road for a day. We like everything, I don't consciously list the names of the staff, suddenly I forget to name someone, I like all the staff. I would like to say separately about the windows of the hotel, some people do not like dust or sand on the windows outside, people apparently forget that sand is an integral part of the country, the wind constantly picks up sand and dust from the ground, it is impossible to constantly wash the windows outside! I would like to come back here again.
+: a good orthopedic mattress, fairly adequate living conditions in the room. There is an opportunity to adjust to food. The staff is generally good (blacksmith shop, cleaning). One of the bonuses of the stay is a supermarket with a good selection of vegetables/fruits within walking distance, and you can also set a walking route to the grocery market.
-: a rather dangerous location for a tourist, you don't feel safe, especially in the waterfront area. There are constant interruptions with hot water in the room, for winter holidays this is Crete, of course. The shuttle runs once a day. The windows did not open in the house. There are no nearby locations where you can go for dinner or coffee. There was a problem with changing the currency at the hotel: they did not want to change it, since the bills were issued before 2013. This is the first time I've encountered this. The hotel does not inform about this in any way and does not offer alternatives to resolve the issue. There was not enough aromatization in the hotel. You can usually find a good diffuser. I felt an orientation towards Americans and Arabs at the hotel entrance, and there is a trace of everyday racism against Russians. I would recommend the hotel as a transfer point if you are on the road and need to spend the night. For a long stay of 3 days or more, this is not the most advantageous option. I rate it at 3 stars.
Nice hotel. We were lucky with the room: it is quite large and with a good view. It is located far from the sea, but there is a free shuttle service to the beach. But all the infrastructure is nearby: shops, shopping centers, markets. You can just take a walk in the evening without calling a taxi. The staff is friendly and courteous. We took a tour with breakfast and dinner. They didn't regret it. The buffet is excellent, the selection is great, the food is delicious.
The Sheraton is on the level, we flew in February, the weather was up to +30, breakfast was a bomb, transfer from the hotel to the beach (convenient, but we took a taxi a couple of times). The beach is central, take a voucher from the hotel, so that there would be no questions at the entrance, we forgot once - we missed believing in words. In general, it is definitely worth the money, they gave 90k for two adults for 7 nights. There are a couple of large super-resorts near the hotel, read more on my YouTube channel.
A cool hotel, there were 4 of us, 2 adults and two children, they gave us two rooms. A bus took me to the beach. The food is really spicy, but there is still a choice of what to eat. The table for the New Year was gorgeous. There is a fish market not far away, fruits and vegetables. There is also an embankment nearby, where you can take a walk in the evening. I advise you to go on a jeep safari, I really liked the air in the desert.
We stayed at this hotel in late January and early February. I really liked it. Clean, cozy, comfortable! The hotel is located in the city, there is a shuttle service to the beach. Of course, the departure time from the hotel and back from the beach is not convenient. I had to take a taxi.The weather is great, it's warm, even burned out on the beach. But the water is cool. In general, I liked everything. We highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is good, the star rating corresponds to 4*, but this is my opinion. we rested on 21.10-28.10.24.
1. cleaning every day, as well as changing towels and replenishing water 0.5 per person and coffee/tea;
2. check-in - we arrived early in the morning, the passports were taken at 9:00, they constantly said that the room was almost ready and we had to wait a little, it happened at 13:00
3. the staff does not speak Russian, from the word at all;
4. there is a bus to the beach, always full and take it half an hour before departure, otherwise you will not fit in. the schedule is at 8:45 and 9:30, then it was added at 8:00; back at 11:45 and 12:45, if there is not enough space, then a taxi is 15-18 dirhams, the main thing is to say the hotel correctly, and it is better to show the voucher so that they do not take it to the wrong place....;
5. the sea it was warm, the beach was fine sand, there was nowhere to hide in the shade, there were no palm trees, only a paid umbrella and sun loungers, we took our umbrella;
6. We had breakfast and dinner, you can change it for lunch. if you pay separately, breakfast is 55 dirhams, dinner is 120. in terms of occupancy, everything is delicious and edible, but not on a large scale, as many are used to in Turkey.
7. the weather at this time of the year is no longer sweltering heat and there is a breeze, a red flag was periodically put on the sea, but not far from the sea it was possible to wet your feet and lie on the waves;
8. nearby there are shops, a gold market and a clothing market, as well as a fruit and fish market. the assortment is huge, you can immediately buy and peel, as well as grill, for example, shrimp, cooking 12 dirhams, cleaning 2.5 and the shrimp themselves - prices depend on the size from 35 to 70 dirhams per kilogram, well, sooo delicious!
9. there is no subway, there is a transfer to the shopping center, who needs to shop;
10. on the 7th floor. 2 adults and 2 children's pools, Jacuzzi, sun beds, towels only for the pool, no beach!
11. the adapter for the outlet is not given, only to buy, but there is a gap near the kettle, suitable for our;
12. there is an exchanger in the hotel at the rate of 3, 449 and near the Lulu shopping center at the rate of 3.6, you need a passport;
13. there is a McDonald's nearby, prices are 2 times more expensive than in Russia, you can also have lunch or dinner at the nearby Novopark 3* hotel, the price is 45 dirhams, buffet, not much worse in terms of the variety of this hotel;
14. there is also a Sail travel agency nearby, manager Alena, will tell and show you about the excursions themselves, the price is at least $ 25 different from those offered by the hotel guide, the quality is the same, the buses are large, clean, chic chairs, better than we were met at the airport.
in general, I recommend it!
A nice city hotel in Sharjah, located next to the promenade and parks. There will always be a pleasant place to walk in the evening. Near shopping centers, shops, cafes, an exchange office. The currency can be changed at the hotel, but the exchange rate is not so profitable.
The hotel has a wonderful restaurant. There is always a good choice of dishes. Pleasant service, there are Russian-speaking staff at the reception. I advise you to book a room with a balcony, as the windows do not open. Rooms without a balcony have air conditioning only.
The hotel has a small sauna, a rooftop pool on the 7th floor, and a gym. All this is included in the price. It's nice to lie on the sun loungers at lunch, as there is shade near the pool.
The cleaning is good, every day. The transfer to the beach is well organized. If the guests do not have enough space, the bus just arrives again. It's a long walk to the beach, a taxi to the beach is about 15-16 dirhams.
Thanks for the rest! We liked everything!
The hotel is 5 out of 5! Starting from the arrival, everything was great! The front desk asked for a room on the higher floors. They were given on the 26th floor, room 2606. The staff is polite and pleasant and not only at the reception. The room was given before 14.00!!! They just cleaned it up and we drove right in. The view from the room is super. The room has a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, washing facilities, razor, kettle, tea and coffee set, refrigerator, hangers in the cabinets, air conditioning, TV with three Russian channels, slippers, etc. Daily cleaning, no linen change. Sometimes they didn't turn on the cleaning, so maybe they changed the laundry that day. We had breakfast/dinner, everything was cooked perfectly and very tasty, there were even PANCAKES, Delicious soups of mashed sea products, mushroom, dairy! There are a lot of fruits, cakes, similarly, meat for dinner, several options, as well as side dishes, delicious juices and coffee (from a coffee machine). A pleasant and cheerful employee of the restaurant always greets. Cutlery is cleaned instantly, there is a robot that also helps to clean)) The kitchen is great! There is a great supermarket right next to the building, you don't need to go anywhere! Strawberries 3.99 dirhams for example, water from one, you can eat there in the bistro, who will be at breakfast, 250 grams of 5 dirhams. A lot of things are cheaper than in Belarus, something is more expensive, something is also, the choice is great! There are several more shopping malls nearby, you can find everything on the map. McDonald's is 300 meters from the hotel. I went to the beach at 9.00; 9.50, back at 12 and 12.45, it seems like it takes everyone))) Anyone who does not understand can check with the security at the entrance, you can ask him to catch a taxi, Uber/Yandex does not get angry in Sharjah)) The beach is good, there are lifeguards, you can take sun loungers for a fee. We took a taxi to the public beach of Sharjah, it is more interesting and less crowded, free of charge. Just look, there are some strange people living there in undress)))! About the hotel further, three outdoor pools and a Jacuzzi, a gym, towels can be taken if you are by the pool, to the beach from the room. Pool view 🔥 fire! The lifeguard brings the chaise longue, well done. Not far away, having overcome the obstacles of the roadway, since there is no pedestrian, there is a market. There is everything, the exchanger is on the second floor of the left wing, you need a passport and a phone number. The things are original Turkish))) Armani, Polo, Gucci, etc. Book excursions from the girl at the hotel and upon arrival, for example, they have a sightseeing tour of Dubai for $ 20, the tour guide has 85, Travel 24 is $ 45, flyers are distributed on the beach for $ 35, and we went with them, because others did not have seats. The tour was conducted by a man from Azerbaijan, there were 5 of us, generally as a VIP. Bottom line: the rest is great, thanks to the hotel staff! We're leaving tomorrow, unfortunately! As the director of the travel agency, I did not tell anyone about this, I advise you! There are many things to compare with, flaws can also be found in diamonds!)))
The hotel is not new, but overall I liked it. The restaurant is very good, the aircraft crews often eat there. The rooms are cozy, the furniture and plumbing are a little tired, the bed is super. The pool on the 7th floor is great. I'll go back there again...
Nice hotel. The room is quite spacious, we had a view of the pool. The only thing is, they don't give you an adapter, they offer to buy it in the store. But the outlet under the TV is suitable for charging the phone. There is a kettle, tea, coffee in the room, and water is brought daily. There is an iron and an ironing board. I used it exclusively for drying clothes on the balcony. The balcony is also huge. The food is very tasty. There are different desserts every day, I wanted to try everything. There was practically no one for dinner, apparently most of them take breakfast. It is better to come to breakfast early, otherwise you can get into a crowd of Chinese who will occupy all the tables and buzz like a swarm of bees. There is a bus to the beach twice a day. A couple of times we didn't have enough space and were allocated a separate minibus. If you take a taxi, it's around 15 dirhams. It is necessary to announce the amount immediately, otherwise they will be delivered on the counter for 20. There is a fish market near the hotel, very cheap and delicious. You choose what to eat, and then everything is cleaned and cooked there. But you will have to wait an hour and a half, there are many people who want to.
Excellent hotel, well located in the city, near the beginning of a long embankment, you can walk or run along it. Around in walking distance there are Cafes, shops. The hotel has parking on the 6th floor with direct access to the elevators to the rooms. The hotel has excellent breakfasts, and there is also a good restaurant. In the hotel, by the way, all tea is supplied from Russia. The rooms are mostly very nice, lots of space, clean, comfortable furniture, nice bed. Lived there for months, was in different rooms. The rooms are different, there are excellent ones, and there are not so many. Depends on the floor . when I lived, a Russian girl from St. Petersburg worked at the reception. I helped with a lot of things. We talked in English for a month until we found out that we were both from Russia. Of the minuses: 1. There is a mosque nearby and it is very audible at every service. Especially in the morning . you won't sleep. 2. At some point, after a couple of months of living, some kind of team arrived and rented the entire hotel. everyone was just kicked out for two weeks. I changed three hotels in two weeks and then came back here again, even though I was angry at them for eviction. It is not particularly suitable for a beach holiday, it is far from the beaches. By car for 15-20 minutes.
A good-quality chain hotel, which did not exceed, but also did not disappoint expectations. The breakfasts are delicious, a decent gym and a great pool for family relaxation
A great city hotel. Good breakfasts (but there is practically no meat). The rooms are clean and spacious. We lived on the 25th floor / the view is gorgeous . The staff is friendly. I took a shuttle to the sea, the beach is free (not very much). We went to Al Khan beach ourselves. The rest was great
I love this hotel for its convenient location, caring staff, rooms are maintained in good condition, hearty breakfasts. There is a swimming pool, gym, sauna.
He does not reach the 5* hotel, the food is disappointing, bland, on the last day, after visiting a local eatery, they finally realized that it would be better to eat there. There is also an additional menu, something else is being prepared at the end of the hall, you can try it for an additional fee of 50 dirhams. The rooms are clean, but clearly outdated, there is a certain Arabic flavor, for an amateur. We were together, we put one toothbrush, no toothpaste, no shaving gel. Of the advantages, they settled in a room on the 32nd floor with a gorgeous view from the balcony. More like just luck. There are 33 floors in total, and the top one is the presidential one. Without this moment, I would have put 3*.
Everything seems to be fine, but it does not reach 5 stars in small things - dirty windows, balconies, 2 towels and 1 sneaker for 3 people were constantly left, etc. but in general it is cozy. The floor with the pool seems to be in decline, in addition, such an effect creates a clustering effect of buildings. The restaurant on the 2nd floor is excellent, the chef is always in the hall, courteous, positive. There are quite a lot of dishes, they cook delicious. The best place in all of Sharjah ;)
It is not usual that men do the cleaning.
Good afternoon. We returned home from vacation today. The hotel is very nice. Excellent price=quality match. The rooms are good, the bathroom is cleaned well, in the room, on the top." One of the disadvantages is high humidity, but, as the guide said, it is in all hotels without exception, the climate is to blame. The clothes and the bed are wet. The food is beyond praise. We took breakfast and dinner. Both are just great. The food is varied, everything is cooked very tasty. There was fish every day, often seafood, and all of good quality. Lots of pastries, lots of greens, excellent quality coffee. We got to the opening of Ramadan. Dinners began at a restaurant on the street. The interior is beautiful, everything is beautifully decorated. We had dinner with beautiful Arabic music. The impressions of the rest are positive
The city center, its own swimming pool, several restaurants, near the shopping center and small cafes, a bay, a park ...
Clean, cozy, delicious food, excellent staff))
We stayed at this hotel in November 2023. The location of the hotel is very convenient, within walking distance of shops, cafes, a fish and fruit market, as well as the famous steam trains where you can change currency on the second floor.The staff was helpful, attentive, and the room was cleaned daily.I also liked the food, although there were dishes with pepper, but this did not bother us.
A clean hotel. Breakfasts worthy of five stars. The dinner is delicious, there is always a choice of meat or fish, seafood. The location is good, there are many cafes, an embankment, an exchange office, a supermarket 24/7. A baby (infant) is provided with a cot. We recommend it.
We stayed at this hotel in March of the 24th year. The room was on the thirty-second floor. We had breakfasts and dinners. I liked only orange juice for breakfast)))), the rest got boring after 2 days. Unfortunately, I didn't like the dinners at all. They are aimed only at Hindus. I liked the room very much. They asked for a free cot, they provided it to us. The TV in the room shows three Russian channels: Russia 24, my planet and cinema house. The hotel has tiny pools and a cool Jacuzzi. There are also separate saunas for men, women and gyms. Saunas: Finnish and a tiny hammam. Surprisingly, there was a tiny closet in the room. Probably, we were just unlucky with the configuration of the room.....Our room had no balcony, we used taps in the bathroom to dry our swimsuits. Of course, there is nowhere to dry big things at all...
There is a wonderful supermarket in the hotel building. You can buy everything you need in it. 10 minutes from the hotel to the left is Lulu's store: there is a good exchanger and also a normal store.
The hotel has a representative of the Parus tour agency. I didn't go on excursions with them, I can't say anything about their quality. But I really didn't like that they incorrectly write prices in their brochure. They also had a $20 Dubai sightseeing tour. And when they were contacted, it turned out that the Dubai sightseeing tour costs $ 85 marked plus. The minimum Dubai sightseeing tour costs $25, but they didn't sell it to us either. They said that it is on sale only out of season - in the summer.. As a result, we went on two excursions from our welcoming travel agency for the same money as the sail offered. We went to Dubai plus And the flower garden + global village. I liked everything very much. There are wonderful fish and fruit markets near the hotel. At the fish market they took: squid, shrimp, lobsters. They also gave them away for cooking. We really liked it. At the flea market (steam trains), they found cool dressing gowns for 15 dirhams, in the region of 400 rubles.
We took the 303 bus to Dubai on our own. First you need to go right from the fish market to the bus station. Buy a silver card for 6 dirhams and put 24 dirhams on it. They sell at least 30 dirhams. It took only 35 minutes to get to Union Station in Dubai in June without traffic jams. Several times we drove through traffic jams for a maximum of 50 minutes. The 303 bus ran until midnight. We went to Dubai for a gold frame and really liked it. In the liquor store in the Dubai Mall, alcohol was sold only according to the original passport. Once they came without the original, they tried to buy it from a scan, they did not sell it to us. I had to ask a foreigner in the queue to buy my passport. As a result, I can rate the hotel at 7 out of 10. I really didn't like the food. Everything else is fine.
The hotel is quite good in its price category. Among the advantages: a varied breakfast (compared to 4*), a comfortable bed and pillows, a well-maintained bathroom, bed linen and towels. Among the disadvantages: a small pool in a shady area, where there is practically no sun and because of this it is cool (in November). If it's not a problem for you to go to the beach for 15-20 minutes in one direction, then this hotel can be safely recommended in Sharjah.
Of the cons:
The hot water is often turned off at the hotel. The location leaves much to be desired. Shuttle to the beach once a day. It is not safe on the embankment nearby in the evening. This area is famous for escorts, so don't be surprised if Americans keep finding out where the hot spots are. The area is noisy and quite dirty.
Of the advantages:
A good enough restaurant. A comfortable room, including a good mattress. There is a small swimming pool.
Excellent hotel,room cleaning, breakfast, large corridors and a fascinating view from the Windows , close to shops and cafes, 10 minutes walk to the embankment
Fish days on Friday and Saturday - delicious dishes with shrimps, mussels, squid for dinner)
The beds and pillows are comfortable, comfortable, the linen is snow-white.
I really liked the hotel!
Positive:
1. good, delicious food. We were in Rixos Downtown Antalya a month ago, but here, oddly enough, with a small selection of dishes, we ate more diverse. There are always fresh fruits (freshly squeezed, in our opinion, only orange). Delicious coffee, as many people write)
2. The cleaning is good, they try. We were with the child, every day we were given a new sheet-blanket. Any request to the cleaners - no problem (add towels, give brushes). They didn't take tips from us, which we left.
3. Excellent Jacuzzi and sauna.
4. Transfer to the beach - rested at the end of March , the bus was not clogged.
5. The location is ideal:
a) we went by bus to Dubai (taking into account the metro and the monorail on the palm tree there and back about 6 thousand for transport, we thought it would be cheaper)))
b) fish market (tiger shrimp with cleaning and grilling about 1 thousand will be cleaned)
c) walked to butterfly island , rope park in the same place about nothing (adult ticket 1100, children's about 800), went to the sea - very quiet fishing rods closer to the sea with luxury houses
6. The hotel staff is a separate love, and any request is always understanding. In the cafe, there are exactly as many staff as necessary, they clean, ask, everything is very unobtrusive. In the same Turkey , sometimes the waiter puts too much pressure on his attention and it is not clear whether he is just polite or tipping )
They were allowed to leave at 14, fed as relatives before leaving. Thanks!
7. Right next to the supermarket with mango from Yemen at 200 rubles per kg!)
Cons: we arrived late, took the last to the hotel. We were in it about 2 o'clock in the morning with two children. While waiting for the check-in (not for long), we noticed a not very clean carpet near the sofas in the Hall. And it seemed that everything would be bad) taking into account some negative reviews read the day before. Most importantly, do not immediately set yourself up for a negative, as we do) wait for the morning with a delicious breakfast, the purest cafe, a robot cat and wonderful staff.
Bottom line: this is one of our best trips!
A strange feeling after visiting a five-star hotel) on the one hand, there seemed to be everything necessary for existence, but on the other hand it will be in the top three, 5ka differs in service. Which in turn was very non-intrusive. There are no towels for the beach, but those in the room are few and do not change every day. They asked the cleaner to give them extra, he gave them, but when he came to clean up, he took the clean ones, folded the dirty ones) For some reason, cleaning is done in the afternoon at 3-4 o'clock, just when you are in the room, and where else to be in the heat? Delicious breakfasts, there are no complaints about them and a cool robot that carries scrambled eggs) They asked for a hairdryer separately, they claimed that it was in the room. But there was only an iron! personal) it's nice, but you need a hair dryer more. It is strange that the room does not provide the possibility of drying clothes at all. Even swimsuits. They take you to the beach, but then how do you dry your swimsuits? The pool is practically useless, other buildings cover it from all sides, there is no sun, if the wind blows, it's cold. In connection with the above, I can say that I was in the top three, but not in the top five.
A good hotel, a spacious room with a wonderful view of the bay, wonderful breakfasts in the restaurant, Russian-speaking staff at the reception, but more thorough cleaning and repair or replacement of furniture is required
Not a bad hotel. Good service, delicious food. The furniture and repairs are a little outdated. Convenient location for a city hotel. Near the central embankment, markets, bus station. There are transfers to the beach and to the shopping center.
Huge rooms, the most friendly and helpful staff, the chef of the restaurant personally escorted my children to the airport before departure and collected lunches. Everywhere you can take a taxi, there is a free shuttle to the beach, but you can also take a taxi for a little money. Near the gold market and the seafood market, where fresh shrimp, squid and fish are cooked in front of you. If you don't need to go to the center of Dubai every day, the location is just great.
We were with my wife in January 2024. The hotel is luxurious, corresponds to the photo on the website completely, you feel not in 4 stars, but in solid 5, and full-fledged, and not the devils that are in Turkey. The kitchen and the chef are beyond praise, they will personally approach, ask if everything is delicious, and you can't answer, because yes, it is wildly delicious)
Everything is clean, the huge room is clean, the air conditioning is so hot that it could be a little smaller, but in summer, it's probably perfect, cleaning every day, polite receptionists at the counter, all the staff is glad to see you, it feels right.
We really liked it, we will come here next year!
Great hotel. Delicious food, comfortable beds, clean linen, transfer to the beach, very customer-oriented staff. We are currently at the hotel, we like everything!
Great hotel. The staff is friendly, there are Russian speakers. The food is delicious and varied. The rooms are large and clean. There is a market nearby and many other small shops and fast food.
We vacationed in this hotel with my husband in January 2024. In short, our worst vacation.
Firstly, the emirate itself is not suitable for tourism. If you have a vacation in the UAE, then only in Dubai (on the Marina), or on islands like Ras al Khaimah. Sharjah and hiking are not compatible, only taxis. Taxi drivers drive just awful. The majority of the population are Hindus. It's very dirty everywhere. There are almost no pedestrian zones. You cross the road at your own risk. There is not much place to walk. The beach where they drove from the hotel is so-so.. they didn't even give towels and paid sun beds. You can't walk to it, it takes 20 minutes by taxi.
The road to Dubai is in theory half an hour, in practice - by taxi to the last metro station, by metro about 30 stations to the Marina. The journey there takes about an hour and about 100 dirh. To return back is a whole quest. It is better to immediately take a Gold card in the subway. Otherwise, you'll just drown in Silver wagons in a sea of people during rush hour and you don't know where it will take you. You get off the subway - there are no taxis anywhere, or they pass you by, you walk around the ghetto in search of a car.. as a result, it took 2-3 hours to get back.
The Hotel itself is terrible. 5 stars ? Are you serious? Maximum 1. Fall for the fact that the network is also from Marriott. First, they gave a room that smelled of dampness, there was a column in the middle of the window and there was a building almost directly opposite. As a result, there was simply no light in the room at all. The door to the balcony would not close, the handle was broken. The first night we slept terribly, because at 6 a.m. they start singing prayers in the neighboring mosque sooo loudly and with the door open it was very audible. Two days later, our room was replaced (they immediately refused, like everything is occupied, although in fact the hotel is almost empty ..). The new room was with panoramic glazing. The windows did not open and there was no way to ventilate the room. The room was better, but also tired from time..
They cleaned every day, there was no claim to cleaning - except that for some reason they did not put a spare roll of paper)) and the shower gel stood empty for a week..
Meals for 2. The chef there is an Indian. Accordingly, the cuisine is all Indian. Mostly rice and everything spicy. The choice is poor, the food is not tasty. There were very few fruits (we can say there were none). There were no yoghurts for breakfast and cereals like everywhere else. The coffee is not delicious. The dishes are the same every day.
Transfer to the beach is a separate story)) they take you twice in the morning , and then pick you up at 12 and 12-45 . If you want to take a taxi at another time. The driver drives terribly, like he's carrying potatoes. Bumps into speed bumps at full speed.
They also take you to the shopping center at 3 p.m. That's all the fun. By the way, it's better to go to the far one, there are more shops there.
The hotel's pool is also not very good. Small, not to say very clean. We didn't swim there. Pigeons were constantly swimming in the Jacuzzi... and in the upper area where the pool is larger, it is always shaded and cool. There is only a children's pool in the lower one, but there are sun beds and you can sunbathe. There is a sauna, but it does not warm from the word at all..
You can 't really walk anywhere in the evening .. everyone writes about the steam train market.. first there is the market of things (it seems that just the Chinese market at the price of the original)), then there is the fish and fruit market, you can buy seafood at the fish market and cook there, but you need to wait a huge queue to clean and cook it all. Again, it is not very clean there and the smell is specific.
In general, as a result, if you want to discourage the desire to visit the UAE in the future, you will go to Sharjah and this hotel))
We are not really harmful, we just have something to compare, and a year ago we vacationed in Ras al Khaimah - there was a hotel not a chain, simple, but it was much cooler in all respects! After this rest, there is absolutely no feeling that I rested and was at sea.
We liked the hotel. There is everything you need. Everything is clean and tidy. From the window there is a good view of the city. Good and hearty breakfast buffet. The transfer to the beach and shopping centers is always on time, the bus has air conditioning and Wi-Fi, so the road is not stressful. There were enough places for everyone.
Great hotel, very clean in the rooms and in the pool. Nice hot Finnish sauna and hammam. I liked the kitchen, breakfast and dinner. It is very convenient that you can change breakfasts and dinners for lunch.
Excellent hotel, excellent service, good room stock. Buffet (large selection) we had breakfast and lunch. The only negative is the transfer to the beach (the bus is not designed for everyone and you have to wait a long time, especially when returning from the beach).
Price is quality. Good location, decent breakfasts. Swimming pool, gym, sauna. Yes, it is worn out, the repair is not the first freshness. The service is good. Near the market, supermarket, restaurants.
An excellent hotel with clean, pleasant rooms that even have an ironing board, excellent staff. But the restaurant is just terrible, as are its employees. We settled in and decided to have lunch, brought lasagna that was just charred on one side, fries were overcooked, pork medallions were just as dry as a sole. Well, OK, the kitchen cooked disgusting, but the waiter where are you taking it. The last drop was beer in an unwashed glass, no, not with streaks or fingers, but straight with a dried edge from the foam. When you visit Kaluga, I highly recommend the hotel and its spa, but stay away from the restaurant, since there are still pestles in Kaluga.
I really liked the hotel, the staff is polite, trying to please and always smiles on their faces. The pool is not large, but heated, in the evening when there is no sun it is very useful. There is a hammam and a sauna. The choice of breakfasts is good, fruits, vegetables, yoghurts, cereals, hotter - rice, potatoes, pasta,beans - you will not stay hungry, the robot was especially pleased 🤖 the official brings amlet - also smiles. The hotel has a bus that takes you to the sea and shopping every day. There is a shopping center 10 steps from the hotel and in general there are a lot of shops and cafes in the circle, the location is good. I liked everything, there is only one minus in the room there is nowhere to dry things from the word at all, there is an ironing board on it and we dry.
Nice hotel, excellent service.
The only drawback is that there are no windows opening vents and balconies, and this makes the smell of dampness very strong.Upon arrival home, all things need to be washed.
It is inconvenient to get to the city on foot - there are no normal sidewalks and crossings.
A convenient currency exchange point is nearby.
I recommend the hotel itself for the price and quality., but I won't go there anymore!
I liked to relax in the hotel, but those who go should know that not all rooms have windows open, the air is refreshed only by the air conditioning and ventilation system, and as we understood in most buildings, for this reason there is a smell of mold, and it feels like mold grows in all these buildings, it's a pity, because it's it is harmful to health and then can hit the building completely, of course they need to think about how to regulate humidity. Our buildings have heating, so we are fine with that. The rest is fine, if you don't speak at least a little bit of English, then there may be problems in the eating area, there is a Russian-speaking employee at the reception. Well, don't worry, you won't be hungry, everything is very tasty.
The level of this hotel needs to be raised, it feels like they are a little stuck in the past. Turkey and Egypt are higher class in terms of service compared to this hotel. Sad. At the same time, the hotel is one of the best in Sharjah, a city hotel, as we love and you can walk and swim in the bay, they take a small bus.
In full, for an unpretentious tourist, I had to change the first proposed room, it was very smoky, the other proposed room was much better with a bonus balcony, a beautiful view, a steam train market on foot.
