Monument to the outstanding historical figure, educator Francis Skorina by sculptor Valerian Yanushkevich. It was installed in Lida in 1993 and perfectly fits into the overall picture of the city. The monument is very beautiful. Traditionally, Francis Skaryna is depicted with his hand raised as a symbol of knowledge and wisdom. In the same square there is a memorial stone of the foundation of Lida a little further away. Not far from the monument is the Lida Castle.
