I liked the whole fort. An ancient place of power. The fortress facility and the surrounding area have been well restored. I was on my own, without a guide. I'll take a guided tour next time.
In December, the international Arabian Horse Racing and Show jumping championships were held there. It was indescribably cool!!
It's a great place. The view from the Ford Tower is great, but to climb the tower you have to go through narrow passages and a very steep stone staircase. But we did it and we had a wonderful view of the mountains, the sea and the city. Everything is in the palm of your hand. I recommend.
I came in for a check, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything is very clean and well-groomed, I was surprised that we were alone here all the time - no one at all! We walked freely, climbed narrow stairs, took pictures. This is not only the fort itself, but also a recreated area with clay houses, a complete feeling that I got to those distant times. But there were savages who scratched out the type that was here, and in Russian...
A small historical piece of Fujairah. We went on foot to the city for a walk, we couldn't help but look in. Admission is free, there are almost no people (as in principle, tourists are extremely rare in the city). An interesting place, a view of the city opens, there is a guard inside.
PS- For some reason Yandex displays the main mosque of the city in pictures at this point, but this is a mistake, it is not there. She's in another place. There's a Fort here.
An interesting place, one of the attractions of Fujairah. There is a Heritage village next to the Fort. There's a museum nearby. The place is interesting, I advise you to visit it while walking around the city.
An old building. A local landmark. It was interesting to walk around and see. You can enter the tower itself, climb the tower, there is a beautiful view of the city!
