I am a graduate of Vladislav's online concept art environment course. This is my second year after the "Fundamentals of Digital Painting" at Fungi Studio.
This is a very informative, informative and rather complex curriculum. But the information is presented very competently and accessible, there is always an opportunity to review the video lecture, ask again, get support and motivation from the teacher. There is no chance to be alone with some kind of problem).
For me, the most valuable thing was a detailed high-quality feedback at each lesson. I would like to note the individual approach to students, Vladislav's colossal patience and his professionalism as a teacher and an artist.
As a result, I am very pleased with the rapid growth of my skill.
Thank you, Fungi Studio!
I recommend it!
My daughter couldn't finish her studies, because mentor Ulyana Demidovich kept telling me to redraw one thing or another. In the end, she said that everything was wrong and she had to start all over again. As a result, my daughter lost interest in the course as a whole. It seemed that the mentor was unable to form the task correctly from the beginning and clearly convey it to the student. Also, the manner of learning and communicating with parents indicates the mentor's lack of teaching skills. Moreover, my daughter had already completed several other courses quite successfully.
I just graduated from the course "Fundamentals of digital drawing". I am very pleased. I started studying from scratch and I liked everything: in detail, clearly and to the point. Many thanks to our teacher Eugene for his patience and feedback, it was a pleasure to study)
I took the course "3D environment artist. The basic level." The teacher is Vladimir Zhuk.
I went to the course without any artistic knowledge, but with an engineering degree and experience in 3D modeling in engineering programs. During the course, I learned how to model in Maya, sculpt in Zbrush, texture in Substance Painter, render in RenderMan. I also learned how to load and configure models in the Unreal Engine 4 game engine. I studied the pipeline of creating models, the process of creating stylized and realistic objects.
Thanks to the teacher, I found my strengths and weaknesses that need to be developed and tightened.
I was very pleased with the course!
Hello everyone🌸 I am 15 years old and I have completed the courses "Fundamentals of digital drawing" and "Fundamentals of digital painting". Before that, I had no experience in drawing, but I always wanted to start drawing in Photoshop and create my own concept art. Thanks to Fungi studio, I got this opportunity and now I am not afraid of the prospect of turning my ideas into reality. There was a large amount of homework, but I successfully combined them with school and, with the help of an excellent teacher Ulyana, successfully completed both courses. Ulyashik in some unimaginable way understands and captures exactly what you want to portray and always supports and helps with the implementation of creative ideas and ideas🥰) Many thanks to Ulyana and the Fungi studio team! There are plans to attend several more courses😏
A very good school. I graduated from the course on the basics of digital drawing from the teacher Ulyana, who explained everything in an accessible and simple way, motivated and gave constructive feedback throughout the course. The training program is designed competently and interestingly. In four months, it is very clear how the skill has grown, I look at my old work with horror, I only regret that I did not sign up for courses earlier.
My daughter took courses here. First, for 2 courses for teenagers, then the teacher suggested continuing in the courses "Fundamentals of digital drawing".
As a result, in the middle of the course, they brought the child to tears with their criticism in the middle of classes, the child refuses to continue studying, the teacher answered my question, what happened, I quote.
"Hello, Polina's mother.
Let me clarify. Is a 13-year-old sprout crying after taking a course designed for an adult audience and getting a profession?
I think it's better to ask Polina. No one but her will give an exact answer to this question. I can only assume that the course program turned out to be too complicated."
Let each parent make their own conclusions about whether to pay such teachers.
The teacher took the course "3D Art for teenagers"
:Igor Shevchenko
I started doing 3d quite a long time ago, but more and more questions began to appear, I decided to take the course, as a result, I learned a lot of new things in 5 months of training, raised my level 5 times. Now I can say with confidence that I know the modeling program almost 100%.%
Thanks!
She graduated from the Unity game development course. The program was very intense. Despite the fact that the course is not designed for beginners, there was a lot of programming knowledge in the process. The teacher always started from the requests of the group. I recommend it to everyone.
I took a course in architectural visualization with Boris Konovalchuk.
At first, I was tense because of the fear of the unknown. But over time, it became easier, clearer and more interesting. Theory and practice are in balance, so it's unlikely to get bored.
The educational process took place as follows. In class, they watched and absorbed how a particular tool functions, and at home, using recorded video, they practiced using it on their own on their interior / exterior.
It is possible to come to the studio and work at computers if necessary.
Thanks to the studio and the teacher for the new acquired skills :)
I took a course on Unity development. I have received a sufficient base for further development. The teacher was excellent, clearly conveyed information. The courses were in an online format.
Thanks to Fungi Studio and Tatiana in particular for the excellent Adobe Illustrator course :) Now vector graphics are not scary at all. For those who want to develop in this direction, I definitely recommend taking it.
I took the course "3d environment artist", and I want to say that it was the best six months of my life, as the course was led by a professional in his field - Dmitry Leus!
Thanks to Fungi studio and everyone who was involved in this event in my life. You are the best
In 2020, he took courses remotely in Anatomy for the artist. The teacher had a good command of the academy. He drew a picture and gave a good feedback. There are problems with the organization of work in the studio, but I think this is not critical and fixable. As a result, for myself, during the 4 months of the course I received a good amount of knowledge and practice in anatomy for the artist, which was the purpose of the course.
She graduated from the course "3D environment artist" and was satisfied with the knowledge she received. Before coming to the course, I didn't know anything about the field of 3D artist. My teacher was Dmitry Leus, who turned out to be an excellent teacher and just a good, responsive person! I plan to take more courses on 3D characters from FUNGi in the future!
She took the course "fundamentals of digital drawing" from a wonderful teacher Ulyana Demidovich
Before that, I had no experience in drawing. And even if earlier it seemed to me that I was drawing well, then after learning about perspective and proportions in one of the lessons, I realized that I didn't even know how to draw that much. that is, I really came from 0.
The course program is so thought out, with increasing complexity, that even a person without experience, if desired, will get amazing results at the output
I want to say a special thank you to Ulyana for the emotional atmosphere in the classroom, for her work and faith in us, for her support.
It was an invaluable experience, I'm glad that I got to Ulyana!
I took a course in architectural visualization with Boris Konovalchuk, a teacher. I started with very little experience in modeling, but this does not interfere in any way, all information is provided in a structured and consistent manner. We managed to figure everything out without any problems. I received immediate answers to all my questions, and all the nuances were resolved quickly.
I am completely satisfied with the course, I received more information than I expected.
I thank FUNGI Studio and my teacher Boris!
I was happy to take the course in Fungi studio “Fundamentals of digital drawing” with mentor Ulyana Demidovich and did not regret it for a second.
I came to the course with a short experience in a children's art studio. However, for many years I hardly touched a pencil. I didn't know the tablet and Photoshop at all. So learning for me started with pain and suffering :) The first lessons, even drawing a line from point A to point B with a pen was very difficult. But with each lesson, the hand became firmer, and the pleasure of the process only grew.
The course program is very well written. In fact, you get the whole basic “academic". Just in a concise form. There is a lot of homework. In pursuit of the result, you should not count on the lite mode. I'll have to work on it. But it is a pleasant “strain". Especially when you see what's starting to happen.
I would like to thank teacher Ulyana separately. For your help. For unbiased, honest and careful criticism. For motivation. For the warm atmosphere in the classroom. For your patience. And most importantly, for a sincere desire to share your knowledge.
I boldly recommend the course to anyone who wants to draw. After all, there is nowhere without a base. Of course, a lot depends on the student himself. But all the conditions will be created in order to get the result.
I took a course in Concept Art environment. I was convinced that this is an excellent course for those who have the time and desire to study. Excellent program and teaching level. Many thanks to Vlad! I recommend it to everyone 🙃
So far, I have completed the first level of the course "Fundamentals of digital drawing" from the incredibly positive Ulyana Demidovich. I came to the courses with an artistic skill, so I was able to immerse myself in the long-forgotten atmosphere of creativity again. Despite the most open and comfortable communication right during class, we followed a well-structured program, literally jumped over our heads every week and did amazing work (while managing to chat and cry into a vest after a working day).
I thought for a long time where and in what field to go, deciding to radically change my profession, at first I tried to go into java developers, but very soon I realized that it was too boring for me to write code, build logic, etc., and most importantly, I realized that I would not see the result that I would get in the end, which-that's the code, it's working somewhere out there, no one sees it... And I like it when you see the result of work, and once a friend advised me these courses, saying that his friend went, was satisfied and now works in an office for the development of games for mobile phones. well, I looked at the videos, the work was ready, I went to the site, read it, and thought that it might well come to me, well, I went to the office, it was in 2020) they enrolled in 3D environment artist courses without any problems (I chose the environment myself, the variety of models that can be done took over, and for this you do not need to have art education, etc., whereas perosnazhka is already necessary there to understand the antomy and so on, and in general you are constantly doing at least humanoid, but here you can do anything, from a pebble on the asphalt to detailed robots), where I clarified several times whether they are exactly designed for a beginner, i.e.K. I doubted if I could, without having any knowledge and understanding of how it is done at all) They said the course is designed for step-by-step learning, gradual)) And they did not deceive, so it was, sometimes especially at first I wanted to do the opposite even faster, constantly asking myself questions, but how to do the scan, and how to apply textures, and what is baking, etc.)) Now I already understand that all this was necessary in order to consolidate knowledge, you can't grasp everything at once no matter how hard you try, because it's not enough to bake or make a scan once, with each new more complex model, new questions arose, but how, how is it better, and whether it's necessary, etc.)
And here I want to say a special thank you to the teacher, Ivan Galimov!) Initially, when I signed up, the teacher was specified differently, but by the beginning of the course they said that it would be Vanya who would lead) At first, I was even upset, thinking the same thing, etc., and after the first lesson I was delighted, full of motivation, energy and desire to immerse myself in this 3D world!)) It's easy to communicate with Vanya and understand him, often he uses simple analogies to explain the material, which make it easier to understand the material, a couple of times his hands dropped, thoughts came, I'm a talentless person, why won't I succeed, he calmed down and gave instructions on how to do and not give up! And this is the main thing, it seems to me that if at such moments they told me, yes, where did you go, work further at your factory and do not torment yourself and people, I would give up, even though this is not my method in life) but Vanya always found the right words and pushes to motivate me to try this way and that way))
I wasn't worried about online learning, because I already went to English courses and everything was fine with me)) on the contrary, it helped sitting at home with headphones, coffee in a cozy workplace and slippers to better abstract and model, learn and absorb knowledge)) A big plus is that Vanya (if he himself said at the beginning that we can talk to him on you, and it's cool, you communicate not as a conceited teacher, but as a mentor friend) always answered questions outside of lessons, quickly and to the point, when by voice, when videos, when screenshots or links where And I also think this is a wild plus of online learning, because if studying offline I could ask questions only once a week, it seems to me that I would not have made those models that I did thanks to Vanya and the courses, sometimes raping Vanya with questions, trying to make a model for homework on time) And how does he record classes?) just a fairy tale, timecodes, good quality and sound, purposefully at the time of parsing the material makes inserts motivating and distracting a little so that his head cools down from the flow of new information) and this despite the fact that he is not obliged to do this, as far as I know, record lessons, but he tries very hard not just to give the material and dosvidos, but to teach, share your knowledge, mold something out of you) and said you can ask something after finishing the courses, it's also calming) In general, I do not know what other teachers there are in the studio, but I am grateful that I had the opportunity to study with vvnm, with a young specialist, with fresh knowledge and approaches, I think it's cool) By the way, after each lesson there was homework, but no one beat with sticks if they didn't do it, etc.
Okay, get to the point)) If anyone is interested, is it necessary to go here for knowledge, will they give it here? Vanya will definitely give it) But, it doesn't work like that, you went off the rails, making one model for half a year for an hour after work, study or club)) I sometimes sat at night, when and in one gulp for 3-5 hours)) And most often, just falling out of reality, you model, texture, bake, redo, etc., now I'm finishing up and that's it, well, I'll fix it here, and I'll finish it here, etc.) I.e. you need to burn, be motivated, enjoy the process) How exciting it all is, it cannot be described, you need to try, and understand that this is not a matter of one day and a month) And at the same time, I think that these coupons are quite difficult, in general, because you are taught to make a model ready for import into the game engine, which means that you should know and own how at least 3 different extremely complex programs)) and if you want to do it beautifully and efficiently, you need to draw a lot and often, constantly develop and look for ways to make that operation better, etc., try to do it like this, and if so)) yes, from them like this, at first 85 percent turns out to be a brown substance) but when you fill your hand, this percentage decreases and tends to zero) this is all about the fact that you need to work on yourself constantly, as in any field, if you want to become someone in it, and not be an ordinary specialist, The courses only give you motivation, impetus, basic knowledge, and structured and consistent knowledge, step by step bringing you closer to creating a ready-made model.
In general, if it seems to you that this is yours, you want to create something and get real pleasure from the process, seeing how your pixels come to life and turn into something beautiful, then this course is for you!)) and most importantly, it doesn't bother you, because you don't do monotonous work, today you do a low poly model, tomorrow you scan for it, the day after tomorrow you get high by applying textures and seeing a ready-made result, well, at the end you sit doing a render of the finished model, choosing an angle, racking your brain which one to choose from the left or right, catching this the glare of light on the texture to better show it)) in general, it is wildly interesting)) and this knowledge gained during the courses gives an understanding of how it all works, which is cool, because 3D-eshka is sooo many different intertwining fields of activity, everyone will be able to choose something for themselves. But for this you need to try and try to find yourself, doing nothing will not work, this applies to any courses, it all depends on ourselves. I am happy with the courses, and with my development from scratch in half a year, too, half a year ago I had no idea how to do it. In general, it's up to you to go to the cruises or not, I only told my story and how it was) good luck in this difficult task, to find yourself)
I came to the digital illustration course to get a start in drawing. Unfortunately, expectations were not met - instead of 4 hours of the stated time, there were 10 minutes of a new topic and 20 minutes of analyzing our homework (the rest of the time we watched the analysis of the work of the students of our group).
The course consisted of images uploaded from the Internet and raw materials. The training took place according to the type - that's how you need to do it, draw from general to particular, draw. The material and homework were not systematized, which is why the group understood the task differently. Perhaps we were unlucky with the teacher, but the feeling of the course is like a waste of time and money. It is significant that a little more than half of the course reached the diploma, only some of them were satisfied. As a result, I'm going to other courses, I hope they will help me understand the basics.
I completed a drawing course at Fungi. The initial level was – I know which side the pencil draws on paper)) I printed out the tablet the day before classes started. In the first lessons, there was a feeling that my hands were definitely not sharpened for this. How can you draw on a tablet and look at the monitor? But after a couple of weeks, everything started to work out. Magic! I can't explain it any other way. Teacher Ulyana Demidovich always supported, prompted, showed, helped, comforted and kicked. There were a lot of homework, I couldn't do it. The main thing is interesting tasks, not just balls-cubes-cones. As a result, it was no longer scary to get a diploma and even there was a desire to experiment.
I am continuing my painting course and I do not plan to stop.
Fungi has become my second home) I adore my teacher Ulyana, she is about her business and a cool person) And special thanks to Vlad Moroz and the entire Fungi team for such a cool studio and the atmosphere in it)
It's a great studio. I took one course here, I really liked it, I signed up for another one.

These are not courses, but an interest group and nothing more!
I managed to sign up for a game design course.
So:
1) The administration works on a case-by-case basis. Then they explain everything in detail to you, then they themselves set the time when you need to drive up to the courses and sign the documents, and at the same time, after an hour and a half of waiting, it turns out that no one is there, will not be and has not been all day (they work from home today)
2) The absolute lack of organization in the group. The chat, which is created at the beginning of the course for a separate group together with the teacher, quickly turns into a platform for memes and discussion of the next meeting in the bar, but at the same time completely ignoring information about homework or, for example, postponing classes. I personally felt the latter for myself when I learned that the next lesson would not be just in a casual dialogue about past postponements
3) Systematic delay of the teacher by 5-15 minutes (calculate for yourself how much it will be if you take, for example, half of all hours)
4) The lack of a lesson plan as such. The first two months, maybe at most, are still more or less consistent. Next, classes are formed according to the type "I saw an article yesterday" or "I remembered one thing over the weekend." At the same time, in essence, very little comes out to record, and the remaining gaps are filled with a ton of water.
As a result, it turns out that the basic information was accumulated in the first 2 months, so you carry it to the end
5) A complete deception of expectations! The website lists 4+ works in the portfolio. And if you imagine a full-fledged painted project with some figures, then... roll up your lip)
6) A non-optimistic attitude to checking homework. Feedback at the level of "interesting", "cool", "it would be cool if the character could also sneeze." At the same time, there is no such thing as a poorly or incorrectly executed dz! You're always good. And because of this, you do not understand how and what to do correctly, which is then very clearly seen by the performance of job tests
7) I was deceived at the very beginning of the course. Which turned out to be already at the end and only because I paid attention! I was told that there were 3 classes before I joined the group and there was no need to pay for them. In the end, there were 4 of them (I saw by the dates of classes from the magazine)
8) If you think that the courses will let you go in exactly half a year, then prepare for the worst. It is in the order of things to postpone graduation to September or summer, although the end of the courses is in March. And by the teacher himself. However, the reasons may be different. In the last group, it was a wave of coronavirus. It would seem like a noble thing to take care of students. If not for one thing – almost complete disregard for the wearing of masks by both teachers and the administration, even during the period of their mandatory wearing!
9) If you came not only for the sake of knowledge, but also for a certificate that should confirm them, then again, the place is not for you. "No one needs a certificate and no one is looking at it" - this is not my invention, but almost verbatim quoting the teacher. That is, not only did you go for half a year and listen to funny stories about who worked where and your knowledge is at the level of interesting facts from the Internet, but no one needs the document itself. So what's 1,500 rubles for?
At the same time, just look at the rating for everyone! Just a dream, not a course! It is full of either very general positive reviews, or in the style of "agony", which are stamped with 5 stars.
I studied for, let's say, 5 months (of which I missed 2 or 3 classes), until fungi's impudence went too far (the funny thing is that the teacher found out about my departure only a week later). Yes, I am a very naive person who did not believe until the very end that with such a rating you would just be taken and deceived. I waited and believed that now something would happen and I would finally stop regretting my time and remembering that colossal amount. And there were such classes! But there are so few of them that, to be honest, I can only remember one thing on the spur of the moment.
Maybe my teacher is a good person and a great game designer, but he's no good as a teacher. It is necessary to take a person to teach courses not on his merits, but on the ability to teach.
The level of game design courses at Fungi Studio is a free intro at xyz school (and I'm not kidding right now).
I wanted to take a basic illustration course in this studio. The problems started at the organizational stage. I called there several times to enroll in the course. They immediately told me that they would inform me when the set would be opened - they did not inform me, I found out myself. then they told me that they had signed me up, but when I wrote to the VK administrator to ask about the date of the first lesson, they told me that the group had been recruited and I could be added to the reserve. I said that I was told several times that I was recorded and how it happened that I flew by. They couldn't say anything, apologized, said that their admin had changed and there were problems, but in the end they took the course.
Now about the course itself. I got to Alyosha matyushonok, although I found out her name on the Internet, she did not even introduce herself at the first lesson, did not tell anything about herself and did not ask anything about us. The lesson began with the fact that we were told to turn on Photoshop. open a pinterest, find references for drawing textures of wood and other materials. The teacher gave the task to sit and draw a wooden cube or ball, and she left the office, chatted with the administrator and drank tea. When she returned, I asked how the training would be organized in general and what her role was for us, she said she would give a fitback. It turned out that she was not going to give any theory or lectures. I was surprised to say the least, since I can sit and just draw at home using YouTube. Plus, I asked her for help with Photoshop settings 2 times. and then with the drawing, she couldn't help me once. Anyway, I left this school, fortunately I haven't had time to pay for the course yet. It is clear that this girl is not a teacher at all, but perhaps a wonderful artist, I do not know. She had neither a lesson plan nor a theoretical part, she did not present our program for the course at all, because a person just came to sit and do their own business, sometimes give a fitback. Personally, this categorically does not suit me, but you judge for yourself. 09.03.2020
You can't just fall in love with this school! Gentlemen, put aside all doubts. If you need a high-quality education in the field of cg, run to Fungi studio!
