We rested in this hotel for several days, they treated us quite kindly, the courtyard is very nice. We were offered tea and extremely delicious dates.
The breakfasts were just great. We ate just super much! We are not capricious about food, we liked it.
The whole hotel is in the national style. The rooms are completely different in terms of internal occupancy.
Our first room had a kettle, a TV, a refrigerator, a bunch of wires and terrible sockets that fall out when you put them in. I spent the whole day walking, so the TV there somehow didn't come in handy at all.
The second room turned out to have slightly better sanitary conditions, but there was no kettle in the room, it was extremely inconvenient.
Laundry was very difficult to move along the balconies to the room, because it is hung up for drying.
In general, we liked the attitude, the friendliness.
We'll come again🤝
The hotel is a huge house. A delicious breakfast with homemade kefir, fruits, pastries, porridge, scrambled eggs is served in the dining room on the top 4th floor. The
rooms have air conditioning. Do not be afraid, as we are, of the lack of windows in some rooms. That's just fine, it's cooler). The pillows are heavy, you can't lift them with one hand. Flannelette blankets, as in the army and pioneer camps before)).
Someone from our group did not have an air conditioner in the room, but it was quickly fixed, there was no cold water in ours, but warm and normal flowed from the hot one.
A very beautiful, colorful courtyard with cast-iron stairs, various antique kitchen utensils.
It is located in the very center, within walking distance from Rigistan, the central market, restaurants.
There are 2 darkhans on the territory where you can have tea in your company.
The staff seems to be a family business. Quite mature people, but they do everything very quickly.
The location is very pleasant. It is convenient to get there by car, and it is five minutes to the pedestrian street.
Our room was a bit strange. The floor is clearly tilted. And the bed alone is heavily sagged. Towels can be considered a part of history.
A very interesting courtyard. Beautiful and imaginative.
A great host. He is very polite and speaks excellent Russian. The staff is also polite.
It is impossible to eat whole breakfasts, the choice is good. There is a terrace on the 4th floor level, where breakfast should be served in the heat. The view from it is mainly on the endless roofs of the old city, the new city and the domes of mosques and madrassas are visible.
We rested for 5 days in May. Excellent location, 5 minutes from Registan. The owner is friendly, always ready to help. Delicious breakfasts: porridge, scrambled eggs, pastries, fruits. There is a huge mulberry tree growing in the yard, the most delicious fruits have just ripened. It was possible to eat. A cozy, authentic courtyard.
The only downside is that the room is a little cramped.

From the point of view of logistics and convenience of location, this is almost an ideal option. Lovers of oriental flavor will love it here - the hospitality, the atmosphere, the surroundings. The linen is not new, but freshly laundered, the cleanliness in the house is not ideal, but it is quite acceptable within reasonable limits. The breakfasts are dense and quite varied. However, if you prioritize crystal cleanliness and the need for new snow-white linen and towels with their daily change, perhaps you should look for another option.
A cozy hotel! Colorful and atmospheric! Compact and kind of homey. Without pathos. The breakfasts are monotonous, but there are plenty to choose from. If you want to eat, you don't want to eat... A mulberry tree grows in the yard and you can eat berries straight from the branches. The service is good, the hotel staff is very attentive. The most important location! Everything is nearby - Registan Square, Gur Emir, Bibi Khanum Mosque and almost all the sights are within walking distance! The room has everything you need. But we came to see the city.... And Our room requirements are minimal (shower, toilet). We are more than satisfied with everything! So I recommend it! And I can also warn you that a live alarm clock (a rooster) wakes us up every morning under the window.
Upon check-out (before waiting for our departure at 23:00), the good-natured host offered us to spend time in a cozy gazebo. They gave us tea and treated us to homemade pilaf... In general, a complete delight!!! I wish there were more people like that!!!
I agree with the reviews, plus I put it for the proximity to the sights , the second for the hospitality and the desire to please, the third for the fact that the hosts honor and listen a little and correct their "mistakes". The room is not cleaned, it is not vacuumed and we have a suspicion. that the bed linen is not changed ... . Dirty . It 's dusty . There is a hair dryer - it does not work, the fireplace does not work.I don 't write about the shower , everything is in a very unsightly state . The toilet bowl is about to turn over on the floor (we had a room on the 1st floor, room No. 1) You only come to spend the night, but still for such money you would like cleanliness.$ 54 for 2 nights , and we were charged $ 3 per tour fee , total = $ 66 . Breakfast is a table full of all kinds of food - fruits, yogurt, butter, a little sliced cheese and sausage, jams, porridge and eggs or scrambled eggs. coffee is a simple powder . tea , a bun ... Sometimes everything that the previous tourist did not finish remains and the newcomers are seated at the same table. In terms of nutrition, everything is very cheap both in terms of products and delivery (compared to Bukhara and Khiva, prices are practically the same for accommodation in other cities). Those can understand them . they save money .. And on the cook , too ... I also had a feeling that we had arrived at the house of an old grandmother - it was hard to wash and wash, everything that was in the refrigerator was put on the table. But in general, I liked Samarkand .
I really liked the hotel. Ideal location, located in the very center, 5 minutes to Registan Square. The same distance to Islam Karimov Street, where most of the attractions are located. The host is a very hospitable and welcoming person, takes care of every guest. Breakfast was included in the room rate, so it was not necessary to think about where to eat in the morning. At 15 minutes to 8, the tables are already starting to be set, Uzbek music is playing in the background. On the top floor there is a magnificent terrace overlooking the city, where you can meet the dawn. As for the rooms, there are beds with soft mattresses, a lot of paintings, vases and other decorations, the interior is homely, cozy rooms, as if you are visiting your grandmother. I'm not a picky tourist, I always come to the hotel tired, and when you're greeted and escorted like that, you don't even want to think about old plumbing. The yard is large enough, there is a place to sit, lie down and take pictures. Before leaving, Furkat brought a bag of dates. It was very nice. I was worried that my booking would not be available, since booking in Russia does not work. Fortunately, there were no problems. Overall, the impressions are only pleasant.
The main value of this guest house is its location, a beautiful staircase and a friendly janitor, who is also a waiter. Everything backward is just disgusting. The room smelled damp, black mold was visible on the baseboards, water came out of the rye tub onto the floor, where it stood for half a day. some rooms did not have hot water, the rooms themselves are very cramped, all covered in old soapy, dirty carpets. The lighting in the room is dim even with all the lights on. The TV, kettle, and hair dryer in the room did not work. The TV's wires are simply torn out by the Owner and does not try to solve problems, he is rude and throws them out. The furniture looks like it was collected from a garbage dump. The bed linen is old, so dilapidated that it is located, and even from different sets, and where there is not enough width, it is simply put with a piece of cloth. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to stay here! Trash is trash!!!!!
An atmospheric place. Convenient location. Wonderful staff.
The rooms are not for discerning guests (at least I had one) - it looks like a simple room at my grandmother's in an Uzbek village.
The breakfasts are decent.
You can leave things if you arrived early and the room is not ready yet, or you leave late and need to make room.
A Samarkand fairy tale! Excellent service! Color and comfort!
Incredibly delicious and plentiful breakfasts!
Fruits, jam, homemade ayran, compote!
How I visited my grandmother ! Who wants to relax, like at home" - I highly recommend it!
By the way, in the courtyard you can lie on the cot and drink green tea at any time of the day, they will cook and bring it at your request. You can eat mulberry right here from the tree. And from the upper terrace there is a beautiful view of the mausoleums and Registan Square.
A controversial impression. On the one hand, there is a historical center, an authentic courtyard, and when we got to know the owner better, then the people are good. His grandchildren played with my little one, they took him home to visit. Upon departure, We were presented with presents. Therefore, 2 stars and not 1.
But on the other hand, if you are Russians without cards, be careful, because I was divorced quite ugly. More details below:
Since Russian cards are not valid on Booking, I had to book by phone.
The booking price is 740 thousand ($65) for 2 days for a clean, beautiful 3-bed room (two adults and children 2 years and 4 months old). On the phone, they said there are only 4 local ones for 1 million ($89). Ok. Agreed. The rating of 8.7 should be very decent.
Upon arrival, they put you in a very, very terrible tiny cramped dark room. Beds and a wardrobe from the 70s (such dark polishing), Old cotton mattresses, feather pillows. A 20-centimeter passage between the beds. There's nowhere to put things. We put them on the bed during the day, and at night we collected them in hand bags and put them in the aisle (and we don't have suitcases at all, but three 5-kilogram backpacks of hand luggage). The bathroom is a terrible old, tiny one with a hole in the floor and a watering can in the middle from above. Without hot water. The children had to be carried to wash in the shared bathroom on the floor.
They still demanded 1 million from us. Since we agreed on the phone and immediately shouted it all over the yard, although I behaved calmly and politely. I have nowhere to go, the owner understood it right away. The kids are off the road, they need to sleep, and not run around the city in the dark to look for housing. The wife is in tears, of course. The conditions are terrible (and we are not picky at all, we can easily both in the tent and in the hostel).
I traded at least 100 thousand. A total of 900 thousand som ($80) in 2 days.
And the brand-new clean rooms turned out to be free (they were shown to me later) and they were offered for 740 thousand to those who book through Booking.
In general, there is a card that is accepted by <url>, calmly go to this guest house and you will like it. There is no map and you are from Russia, there is a chance to get into the conditions of a room in an ancient grandmother's communal apartment of the 70s (I'm not exaggerating at all). The price of such a room in any country of the world is no more than $ 10 per day and it makes no sense to pay $ 45 for it, since this is the price of a normal room or quite decent devices (3 days before that, we lived for this money in the center of Kuala Lumpur in a skyscraper in ideal devices with a kitchen and a pool on the 50th floor, and for a week in Phuket for $ 55 in two-room units with their own small pool. So Uzbekistan seemed to me a very expensive country and the impression was spoiled).
I will try to attach a video so as not to be unfounded, there are no photos. But I don't know if it will work out or not.
Hospitable hosts, cozy chamber rooms with amenities, a cool courtyard under the mulberry tree, where it is possible to park a car or motorcycle. In the evening, you can sit with a company on the dostarkhans for tea and not only)You can also have breakfast here in the morning.Convenient location in the center of Samarkand 10 minutes to Registan.I recommend staying here
I fell for "authenticity"..
I was very disappointed.
The room smelled very unpleasantly musty. Everything stank everywhere! The bed linen was washed, with strange stains that had not been washed. The bathroom is dead. The room is full of old things. There was a refrigerator, but a kilometer away from the outlet, i.e. it is impossible to use it. What's the point of betting then??
Breakfast was not very good at all.. cupcakes in plastic packaging.
In general, the atmosphere was very strange, somehow strained.
The second night I just couldn't stay there..
We were led to numerous excellent reviews in the Booking about Uzbek hospitality, an unusual cozy atmosphere and a magical atmosphere. We arrived at the hotel without prior reservation, offered the owner to pay for the room at the booking price or slightly lower, so that it would be profitable for everyone. When we entered the proposed room, we were greeted by an atmosphere reminiscent of a grandmother's attic in the village — everything is filled with trinkets, worn furniture, smells of dampness and dust, the heat in the room is provided by a heater. We agreed to stop by — it was late in the evening and after a long road we didn't want to look for a new hotel. They left their things and went for a walk in the center. When we returned for the night, we looked around our room once again: dust lies on all surfaces in a thick layer, I have never seen this in hotels, the fireplace is all gray with dust, old down pillows. As an allergic person, it was hard for me to endure this night)) either ice water or boiling water was coming out of the tap in a thin stream. There was not enough heating for the heater. A thin long worm was found in the toilet bowl. We are not picky people, but we were shocked by the situation. At first, it was attributed to the fact that we were in the off-season and the owner was not aware of our arrival in advance. Therefore, the next morning they offered to move us to a higher class room for a small surcharge (the difference in booking was $ 6). Our polite remark about the dirt was perceived inadequately, demonstrative courtesy evaporated immediately, we were rudely asked to either pay $ 20 (the room does not cost that much!!!! And the total cost is more expensive than booking!! At the same time, we knew from the residents that there was slightly less dust in such rooms, and the same problems with water), or to get out of the hotel. We packed our bags and spent the second night in a guest house 100 meters from here, in ideal conditions, paying an additional $ 15.
After that, I read other negative reviews about this guest house. I agree with everything, that's the way it is. The impressions of what he saw are the same.
One of the first guest houses in Samarkand, well-chosen staff, wonderful location close to all attractions, room amenities and food are some of the best in the city
A cozy atmospheric place. The friendly host. Those who want perfect cleanliness and modern decoration are not here. But behind the atmosphere of old Uzbekistan is the very thing. On the upper floor there is an observation gazebo: the Registan is visible, which is a 5-minute walk away. In summer, I think pleasant evenings take place in the gazebo. We were at the end of October.
Breakfast is included. A variety of food. There are fruits. However, not all food is fresh (for example, bread or sausage). But it didn't upset us. To whom what is more important. In general, I highly recommend it
I will not recommend this place to anyone. He himself fell for the entourage, similar to the Odessa courtyard. As a result, they were settled in a dead room with non-working wi-fi, mobile communication and a TV. All the junk that was at hand was brought to the room. The room smelled musty and it was cold! The air conditioner did not work for heat. I didn't check for the cold. You can get the rest of the impressions from the photo. As for breakfast. I haven't seen this for a long time. There are a lot of inedible things piled up. Porridge from unwashed cereals. The juice is diluted. Instead of butter - margarine!!! The welcome tea, which everyone talks about with such piety, is prepared by throwing a tiny pinch of tea into a large teapot. At first we even thought it was green. When I asked if it was possible to put tea normally, they told me that we thought that Russians drink tea that way. For me, there are enough authentic places in Samarkand that will delight the eye and imagination. The location is really good. On the other hand, there are enough guest houses nearby with the best service and entourage, with human repairs and breakfast. The attitude of the staff is good, there is nothing to say.
The location is very good. To the center of 5 minutes at a leisurely pace. The only thing we got is whether the owner is expanding (started the construction), or someone from the neighbors, but after 9.00 such a slotting begins that it is impossible to be in the room. They feed well, they put everything and a lot on the table.
If you are not looking for a luxary hotel, but on the contrary came for a flavor, then this is the perfect place. The owner is a very sincere person, meets and accompanies like relatives, the house is in an Oriental style, there are trestles, there is a terrace with a magnificent view of the city. Our room was a double room with one large bed, with its own bathroom and shower with all the necessary soap, very cozy (like in the village at grandma's or at the cottage in summer) high mattresses, large feather pillows. Breakfasts are included in the price and they are divine, the tables are set as for lunch there is everything: sweets, pastries, butter, fried and boiled eggs, porridge with cream, fruits, tea/coffee. We even got rations for the road. Well, this is the location! You do not need any guide, you can walk around the entire historical part of the city on foot, since leaving the hotel you can see the Registan from the right, the Bibi Khanum Mosque stands a little to the right, and the Ulugbek Observatory is a 20-minute walk away and this is the most remote historical object.
Furkat is located next to Registan. Very atmospheric decor. The hotel manager is responsive, really helps in solving some situations (for example, how to arrive or leave). The breakfasts are hearty and varied. The rooms are compact and comfortable. Wi-Fi is fast. There is a rooftop terrace with city views.
You shouldn't have been fooled by the reviews on the booking. The hotel is terrible. Strong unpleasant smell in the room, old bed linen, torn in places. The water in the shower is barely warm. The air conditioner is leaking. The refrigerator is noisy all over the room. The breakfasts are the same, one fried egg, one boiled. Two days out of 3 there was millet porridge. The tea is tasteless, as if it was brewed for the second or third time. We bought tea at the bazaar instead of what we were given. The rest of the breakfast is bread rolls and confectionery cheap sweets. The fruits are stale. A crooked bed, from where the mattress was sliding down. Pillows and mattresses from the last century, everything is old. Not in the national style, but in the style of the USSR. Furkat himself did not seem friendly, he wanted to take more money at a favorable rate) We accidentally booked a double room for 1 person, and there were two of us. Furkat immediately took advantage of this and bent the price much higher than the one on the booking. It was useless to argue, the man wanted to make money. The audibility is very good. We were out of season, so there were no neighbors, we could only hear the staff of the hotel and the Furcata. In general, there are more minuses than pluses (maybe it will go for 1 day. There are a lot of hotels, we wanted something stylized and chose this hotel and lost. I didn't want to waste time on relocation.
Among the few advantages: The proximity to the main attractions, a beautiful courtyard, authentic decor and decoration of the building. There is Wi-Fi, air conditioning, refrigerator.
By the way, our booking magically disappeared from the booking and we couldn't leave a review there. Although it would be very useful for other tourists, I think the owner needs to think about improving the service. Sooner or later, the truth will come out anyway, no matter what kind of booking fraud he undertakes.
A very authentic, family-run hotel with a courtyard and a magnificent rooftop veranda overlooking the city center. It is located near Registan. The host helps the guests himself, sets the table - in general, in a family way. The rooms are simple and old, but the comfort and other advantages compensate for this.
My wife booked a room at the booking office with two beds. We arrived and checked in at the entrance indicated that for 2 days. The room is terrible, to put it mildly. Instead of heating, there is an old heater, hard beds, old down pillows, dampness, mustiness. The night passed, in the morning they asked us to move out, as it turned out that we rented a room with two beds and they are rented separately. That is, we rented not a room but a bed in the room. When asked why we were not warned, the administrator began to be rude and yell. All the hospitality evaporated in a second. The breakfasts are terrible. I really do not recommend it. They moved out at the same moment and forgot it like a bad dream.
I do not recommend the hotel. The towels are synthetic. The Internet was not working. The breakfasts are not delicious. The hospitality is not real Uzbek, but ostentatious. Uzbekistan is much more welcoming in general than this Hotel. The owner can be rude in places. I found someone else's socks inside the hotel. The bed linen is old, the beds are too. Close to Registan. The interior of the guest house is surrounded by a beautiful large tree.
Pleasant staff
Breakfasts are included in the price: decent, from 8 to 10 am, the assortment is large
Rooms with a local flavor
I really liked that the guest house is located very close to the historical center, and you can easily reach the sights
We stayed in early January. I agree with the reviews, this place is primarily an atmosphere. Friendly host, neat and warm rooms. Magnificent view of the historical center and the MOUNTAINS from the upper terrace. We were satisfied!
Old dusty damp carpets, antediluvian furniture (a leg fell off the bed in our room at night), down pillows, torn linen. The water in the shower is running in a thin trickle, it is practically impossible to adjust it - you will wash in boiling water (if you are lucky and there will be hot water at all).
The Furkat owner is aggressive: on a calm request to replace the room (we were ready to pay extra), he named the price of x2 for booking, in response to our refusal, he began yelling for us to move out. Stay away, there is no flavor here
A great place, geographically all the attractions of the center are nearby, the owner and staff are very friendly people, well, a big plus is that taxi drivers and bomb squad know where to go if you are here for the first time.and the amenities are not Hilton, but the price is appropriate, I liked everything, I recommend it
Everything is bad. Owners! I hope that you will pay attention to the mess and the approach to maintenance. And already invest some funds in the arrangement of the hotel so that your beautiful and very beautiful courtyard is combined with the service
Fourcade is a human soul! But, no luck with the number. For us personally. But in general: the man is good, the yard is beautiful, the Registan is just around the corner. There are rooms for "5" c+, but for two)) (there were three of us). He had both French and Italians at that time. It was cold there in the spring, but in the summer it was just right! But, this is not accurate. And Fourcade is a man👍🏻 Choose for yourself.
A great guest house! We were there in September. I liked everything very much. The kindest host. Cozy rooms! Great breakfast in the morning! There is a good view of the city from the upper veranda!
The hotel is 2 minutes from Registan. Delicious breakfasts. A green courtyard with birds. Great view from the roof terrace. Among the disadvantages are interruptions with hot water, a broken TV (it doesn't matter to me)
The rooms are very small, the beds are not comfortable - the pillow is like a brick, the blanket is like a stove. The sanitary unit has old and dirty plumbing. The water was cold. There was no room decoration.
Excellent hotel, courteous staff, red hotel hostess, a lot of details that give the hotel personality, national flavor, and nostalgia for Soviet childhood
It's a terrible hotel, I don't recommend it to anyone. The rooms are furnished with 40 years old furniture and the same bed linen, cotton mattresses with spears, stone pillows. There is no hot water, Fourcade tells everyone again that there is a problem with solar panels and there will be water tomorrow, but in the meantime, go to the communal shower! The floors are shot with carpets that have never been vacuumed, but the owner is very jealous that they are not walked on in shoes. the rooms have dirty old kettles and heaters that are 30 years old.The quality of the breakfast could not be assessed, they ran away after an hour. The worst place in years of travel
It's a terrible place. The rock creaked. The pillowcases are torn. There was no Wi-Fi. I'll shudder when I remember. The host wants to cover the disadvantages with his hospitality, but this is impossible
