Not a big fan of modern art, plus there was not a lot of art there. Two good things though, they had a silver smithing demonstration going on with a guy making jewelry using old methods. Plus there is a small section of artifacts that is interesting.
Wonderful gallery! Location, exposition, pavilions, architectural fiction, and light distribution.
Exhibition of photographs, paintings and sculptures. The prices are more than reasonable
It is a very beautiful building and there are many useful events that you can participate in, but you need to hurry more often.everything is clean and tidy, the staff is very polite.
An interesting building in the city center. There is a subway nearby. Exhibitions are held periodically. I managed to get in for free.
I got to an exhibition of Turkic artists. There were a lot of works on display, although the halls looked barely filled with paintings.
The exhibition under the stairs was a separate one about Uzbekistan 100 years ago.
Well, an exhibition of photos of a German female photographer.
The toilets on the basement are generally satisfactory.
An amazing gallery! Very recent brush paintings by graduates of various national art schools. The space looks very modern, the works are selected according to the halls incredibly logically and correctly!
I really liked the museum. We were pleasantly surprised by the works of artists, a lot of beautiful ones) I wish there was a gift shop where you can buy a book with a collection of paintings presented in the museum :)
The gallery is not very good, of course, this is my opinion, but some boring paintings and almost identical, if they displaced paintings by Russian artists, it would be good.
I really liked the gallery itself.
The first evening we arrived at about 17:00 and the tired "girl" at the checkout said that we would not have time for anything.
In the morning we came to the opening, bought 2 tickets for 50 thousand, as for foreigners + 25 thousand for the tour. The girl guide was busy and we were guided by the Head of the gallery. The tour lasted almost 3 hours, we were told everything from the history of the creation and replenishment of the gallery to the peculiarities of the author's styles and techniques.
Three hours flew by not noticeably at all, but it brought a lot of positive emotions.
The gallery is very large and beautiful. We participated in a competition here. There were a lot of different pictures of children. It was very interesting inside and more beautiful than outside. The place was also visible and convenient.

An interesting place, definitely worth a visit, a beautiful dome. I was at the exhibition "Alexey Shchusev. 150 Ust mem" Expositions were presented in a very interesting and informative way, I felt like I was in the A.V. Shchusev State Museum of Architecture
Hello, I was there, well, as always, I didn't really understand, to be honest, before there was art, it was clear yes, but now they themselves don't know what they are doing, well, friends, I don't want to offend anyone, everyone has the right and you can see well, this is my opinion.
Periodically, the expositions are very interesting and worthwhile, although the building itself somehow does not have a high spiritual because the heat inside is suffocating, deadly simply. You won't even want to look at the Mona Lisa, because you're standing sweating and gasping for air...It looks more like a gas chamber, beautiful, all in marble, but a death row.

A beautiful gallery.
The exhibitions that take place here will also be interesting for specialists. Like, for example, an exhibition dedicated to the memory of architect A. Shchusev.
The place is frankly not conducive to visiting ... immediately after entering, two women tired of everything at the checkout, although there are no people from the word "at all" ... no excursion program (why there are no guides on the day off is not clear), no audio guides.
The price list says in Russian that the entrance ticket is 10 t.s., but guests from Moscow are shown a sign in English!!! They ask you to pay 50 t.s. per person
It's worth walking! With frequent intervals, new exhibitions, in a small hall.New paintings, regularly in the great hall and on the 2nd floor
For the elderly and disabled, and for those who are just tired, there is an elevator.
Spiritually enriched!
I recommend it for tourists who love painting, as well as historical photography reflecting life in Uzbekistan a century ago. The exposition is not too big, but you will not have time to get tired)
I was at an exhibition of gold products, everything is well organized. It only caused disappointment that many sellers of products did not provide documents for the products.
To be honest, not exactly what I expected. Mostly modern works, many of which are not surprising. If there is a temporary registration, then the price is 5 times cheaper, be sure to show it when buying a ticket, otherwise the cost does not correspond to the content at all
The collection is small, but very original and interesting. And the coins of the pre-Caledonian period indicate the presence of high culture already from that period.
A small building, quiet inside, nothing distracts from viewing paintings, but the collection of paintings itself does not leave any vivid impression. The works are hung haphazardly, different styles, genres and authors are mixed chaotically. I liked a couple of the works, the rest didn't catch on.
* the most striking impression is the luxurious oriental dome ceiling!))

An interesting place with interesting exhibitions . Temporary exhibitions are beautiful.
It's a gorgeous building, but there's practically nothing to see. The Museum of Art, where the collection of the Russian viceroy, Grand Duke Konstantin, is on display, is certainly worthy of attention.
